I had a fail with a big batch of apple scrap jelly last year, and I used pectin. I decided to "make lemons out of lemonade" and put apple pie spices in it, with extra cinnamon, and turned it in to a apple drink concentrate. It was delicious, and perfect to put in to a crockpot on Christmas morning, add water and cinnamon sticks, and it not only made our house smell delicious, the warm apple drink was delicious, and went well with my homemade pecan rolls! There's always another thing that can be done, if one canning project fails, just think outside the box, to see what can be done to save it!! It may turn out better than your original plan!! 😁
WOW! Jelly from compost material. Great video
waste not, want not, right?

I love it! I had someone else share that they use failed jelly as syrup- and that sounds amazing, too! Where there's a will, there's a way!
Looks fun.
Turned out super tastey :) and that'll teach me to rely on the instructions!
