Melanie Grande: You Can't NOT Have a Co-Op!

Melanie Grande (BSAAE '17) loved space, and also wanted to study abroad. At Purdue she was able to do both, with the GEARE program: working at the German Aerospace Center in Cologne, Germany, and then getting a co-op with NASA's Langley Research Center in Virginia. Not only did she get paid for her internship, but she had experiences in her field you just can't get in a classroom -- and a solid foundation to build a career.
