Ohhh.. I'm so sad I'm first to comment,, I embrace mechanical engineering like an anchor in a stormy sea! Our world is driven by mechanical engineering! It animates our robotics industries, our factories, our homes, our cars, (and pickups). A friend of mine works at a power plant in Denver. He insisted computerization will rule our entire life and world soon. I started laughing on the phone. He began explaining that he could modulate electricity going from plant to various sectors with only his laptop. I laughed harder!! I carefully explained that it doesn't matter how many electronic impulses or commands he sends through the control systems they cannot and never will be able to turn dials, manipulate levers, open gates, throw breaker levers, or even secure facility by locking doors without mechanical engineering devices, servos, solenoids, rehostats. He doesn't call me any more.. haha!!
