There is something that has been bothering me, as real moomoo's we know that moonbyul has a really good singing voice. But come on guys she enjoys rapping it's moonbyul's passion. Please stop assuming and feeling bad for her because she 'doesn't have singing lines' , she is not a rapper for nothing, she loves what she does and so do I. I love this performance, I love mamamoo and I wouldn't want to change a thing.

this isn't moonbyul's best rapping tbh... she sometimes seems to have issues with slower songs (i noticed this in their song Draw Draw and Draw) but she totally makes up for it with her harmonizing! solar and wheein's high notes and hwasa's soul are always precious
it was so hard to find the melody with this arrangement, i think they kept adding different instruments and everything didn't overlap as nicely. I still wish the guitar was the main, it sounded so good... their vocals definitely saved it though

I'm a huge Mamamoo fan myself and I got to say that this is not their best performance. It's definitely not bad. I just wonder until when they'll make Solar pull off high notes on IS2.. it's not even 'attractive' anymore. I mean, I miss their performance like Passion Flower or Deep In the Night that are fun and still with amazing vocals.. They are preparing for comeback so I can understand why they pick ballad. I hope they'll be back at IS2 with more energetic performances ^^ (still, I love them so much)

what I'll say is that hwasa's vocal power was so 100% this time. she sounded air-y? maybe she wanted to match the song cause it's a slower song idk. the rap part was only weird at the beginning cause it clashed with the harmony. moonbyul adding to the harmony at the end tho made me happy cause I wanna hear her sing more. even with these little faults they still sounded good. solar and wheein were amazing as always.

This is the first time they change their 'formula' and have Solar to open the song (it's usually the maknaes who did). I have to say, it's really nice to hear her lower register (I don't see anyone commenting on this). Wheein, as usual, balancing the performance while Hwasa adds that unique vocal of hers with full emotion that makes me teary. Moonbyul... I know that people will always have a mixed opinion about her rap in ballad songs, but what's great from her rap in this: it's emotional, 'poetic', even. I even thought that her part must be a love confession or something similar... which is somewhat true when I read the translation. It's just like the first time I listened to Love Story of A Girl where I felt that her rap was misplaced and didn't match with the song - but it gets better and better as I listened to it more and read the lyrics. Mamamoo, you've done a great job! Thanks for giving us another great performance here in IS2 :)
Great comment! Sometimes when Moonbyul is rapping emotionally and the other three are trying to sing over her and she persists with her rap it can be the highlight of the song.
Moonbyul has nice vocals too, I feel always adding rap is such a waste! Personally I think rap is also unnecessary, but I guess some people like it. It does suit her image, especially if she has cool moves and smirks like she can 😍. It's a tough job to be a vocalist next to the likes of Celine Dion and Beyonce, but I think she can bring something nice to the mix (and still be cool 😎).
As compared to their past performance in IS2 I feel tht they kinda overdo while trying to harmonise. Like the part where the rap start and following, the arrangement starts to abit too complicayed(I am no genius in music but after the rap part, the harmony seems to be abit off, especially the part where hwasa and solar harmonise) Anyways the girls still did well!!

Sometimes when Moonbyul is rapping emotionally and the other three are trying to sing over her and she persists with her rap it can be the highlight of the song.
Moonbyul has nice vocals too, I feel always adding rap is such a waste!
Personally I think rap is also unnecessary, but I guess some people like it. It does suit her image, especially if she has cool moves and smirks like she can 😍. It's a tough job to be a vocalist next to the likes of Celine Dion and Beyonce, but I think she can bring something nice to the mix (and still be cool 😎).
As compared to their past performance in IS2 I feel tht they kinda overdo while trying to harmonise. Like the part where the rap start and following, the arrangement starts to abit too complicayed(I am no genius in music but after the rap part, the harmony seems to be abit off, especially the part where hwasa and solar harmonise) Anyways the girls still did well!!
At 4:10 u can clearly hear solar kinda sing slightly too high while trying to harmonise
in every is2 i still didnt like when moonbyul is rapping...i want moonbyul to start singing in is2 just like others its not like her voice is not good its awesome
