Target priority is a very useful skill. Know who can die and who needs to die
this sounds so morbid LMAO
My dps as a solo support no absofuckinglutely nothing about this. The number of times we were losing cause Mercy just was running free before I switch is crazy
@@mattkeller5339 mercy isn’t always the best target… a lot of times you won’t be able to get the Mercy or if possible to get the Mercy chances are it will cost you getting out of position to do so an being punished and a trade is never worth it. All it takes is two people focusing the target she is healing and she can’t out heal it.
@Smuggly nah you can't just let Mercy run free. When she's pocketing someone yeah but when she's trying to be super mobile and it's going unpunished that's a huge problem that a whip can solve very easily. By no means did I say Mercy is auto targeted though. Whipshot kinda hard counters her now 8 seconds is a brutal CD.
@@mattkeller5339 in any case, mercy is NOT the perfect target 100% of the time, there is a good chance you are going to gain deaths very quickly just for being in bad position because you had to kill a mercy in front of 4 other opponents.
by that i mean killing her using anything that doesnt have a scope/hitscan from far is not gonna do anything, and success by getting up close depends on how many teammates surround her
One thing I would like to add is for awareness an positioning is to keep track of where your support players are and what kind of healing they do. I play a lot of support and I constantly see my teammates rush in and complain about not getting heals when they are unreachable from my position. Sometimes all it would take is them moving slightly to be in line of sight to get healed. I see a lot of them be near death and still run out of a immortality field instead of hanging there for a sec to get healed.
i totally agree. "Heals" and i am like "i cant heals through walls dude
If they run out of your LOS use your fkn mic dude
@@deusvult6920 that wont stop them from rushing in
@@deusvult6920 most of them probably dont use mic
Goes both ways to be honest. A lot of the time supports hang too far back and don't move with the team and they complain they are constantly getting dived
“you are the only one in control of your position” lifeweaver: 😈😈😈
One of the best ways to learn resource management is to play hero's that require using abilities regularly like Tracer, Genji, Doom, Ana, Moria, Orisa, etc. Char that you are constantly having to determine 'is now the time' or find yourself sweating about cd's.
This is basically tge case for all heroes
This is pretty much an amazing video
Another good video!
I miss the maps that were in this video
I just don't understand how it's so much harder to rank up since OW2
Is it? I found it extremely easy cause the ranked system is less punishing. Are you solo queuing or grouping?
Because ranks aren't free you need to get better it isn't hard to rank up when you're below where you're supposed to be.
I'm a high gold player. I'm just not willing to play sweaty enough to climb higher. When I get to Plat I usually win a few then go back to gold. If I have bad luck and fall to silver I always immediately win 5 in a row and climb back tk where I'm supposed to be around gold 4 but generally I stay gold 4 after my 5 wins.
My friend started 2 months ago and he's now at plat 5. I don't think it's that hard, you just have to keep going(with a little luck) and you'll probably reach where you suppose to be.
It feels a lot easier to rank to appropriate rank as dps now with much less waiting around, which means, ranking up.
Since season 4 fixed match making even more, there's less and less pub stomping and a lot more close games, so I'm actually not minding what seems like a steam roll for the first few points when we eventually learn how to play with each other and wins become satisfying after a decent struggle.
I know a lot of low rank players that give up too soon or have no mental stamina to play a long/hard game.
Higher ranks don't come for free, and at higher rank play, the struggle is from start to end so if done right, you actually get burn out after 2-3 wins.
Pretty good tips!
I love how my teammates check score board to see how much damage they dealt and blame sniper heroes to why they are dealing less damage or why healer didnt milk heal enough lmao
Crunchy green grapes
Huh
Nah he valid
8:14 railings: nah g im sorry imma break
First tip: Beginner, load in, think about all characters on the map, their threat potential, and possible counters, as well as positions on the map you want to take...
Sorry, as good as the guide may be, this already told me as a beginner that this is far from a beginner suited guide. All these aspects require much more knowledge about the game than a beginner will have.
That would just take significantly too long to talk about. Learning how the characters work and the counters is one of the basics you need to be functional in the game, and with how much info there is and how little the actual game will tell you, looking at guides is your best resource (coming from someone that started playing in OW 2). Figuring out positioning and how much of a threat they are just kinda comes with time. Hang in there.
@@olivia1911 I totally get that, and I didn't mean to suggest he should cover all these things. All I wanted to say was that this is no beginner's guide. 😊
@kinolyen its assuming you've gotten a rough idea of the maps and hero abilities if you don't have that basic down just play qp until you do
It's no more mentally demanding than driving a car on public roads and minding laws/motorists. Bet you can't even chew gum and walk at the same time
@@StoneTheCr0w probably as hard for them as it is for you to be a positive influence on others or genuinely be in a good mood, you’re comment history clearly shows you struggle keeping your panties not in a bunch
I just started 4 weeks ago. Im only Bronze 3. So any help is great.
when is a pharah guide coming to the website?
8:30 my braindead lifeweaver: 😮
bro quick play makes me want to kms ive literally won 9 games and lost 27 in 4 hours bc my teammates are straight speds and the other team is just cracked
What is you favourite hero in overwatch
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL: I suck at all four of those rules.
Every day I lose 10 to 13 games in a row and win 2. This game is too difficult for me
feels easier to get my Computer Science degree
Guys if you will take in acount everything when you gona start playing ?:D I dont saying that gamer on high level dont do that .But i doubt thay do all thing at the time .Cause its imposible . Find stuff you are good at or are easyer to grasp on and go from that .This video has no prectical use .Its just list that you may improve in .But if you ever see someone even stream the game at high level you will understand that its usually alot of good habits first - and than some calculation .And not opposite .Geting better possible only if you cattyaly play the game and after game doing work on your fails . Anything else is bs that never gona stick in your brain unless you practice it to habit level .
I wish y’all had tips for console players

Yes all the videos on this channel are common sense trying to bait you into wasting money on their paid crap
😊
aint no way you said overwatch coach lmfaooo
You get told what to do and where to be daily like a dog, stay silent and humble
How many gamewinning tips has this channel given out already you would think that at this point its a fair game again because both teams have an unlimited amount of gamewinning tips
these videos are okay but they still miss the point entirely. NONE of these tips will help you if you put them into practice but still can't land any of your shots. weird you never touch on that
they will help as long as ur aim isn’t as bad as having the monitor off u don’t need to have really good sim till high ranks
@@stellatedrook6910 yeah, especially if you play heroes which aren't super aim heavy
You can't teach aim without getting more personal than a YT video allows with its audience. Weird you don't understand that.
Weird you missed the part about mechanics in the video.
That's because you should just work on your aim, but actually they will. Nothing's going to help you if you can't hit the broad side of a barn, but the Widow is much easier to hit when she's standing still aiming at someone else because you flanked her than she is trying to hit her with Soldier 76 from across the map. Engaging in your proper range from a good position ensures that your rounds hit at their maximum effectiveness, giving you much more wiggle room to miss your shots.
The content is going worse ans worse

i think theyre saving the good ones for later or for the website
Alright, but listen. Please get a better microphone. It's not really comfortable to listen to ths recording quality from good headphones.
Dont use headphones then
Sounds fine to me
Sounds fine. Maybe adjust levels a bit to prevent sibilance, but that’s not a mic issue.
His microphone is fine
Wearing good headphones myself, I hear nothing wrong
