Great video ! Nice little mill you have be careful of them bolts in them poles ! I'm just learning my way along too :) I only have 92hrs on my Woodland HM122 , I find it easier to judge what I'm going to get a lot like you , But I find always loading the log small end to the mill easier & then if there is much tapper in the log i lift the small end & put 1/2" or 3/4" to split the difference for 1st & 3rd cuts , I can usually save a 1" that would otherwise be slab, Them poles make awesome lumber if you don't hit bolts !
@@TalbotLakeInheritance Yes it's amazing what these little mills can do :) But ya lifting them gives me a couple slabs about the same thickness nice to use on other projects :)
