Boy that lens looks sharp! - Great review man. I feel like this lens would be fun for rainy days in the town, its wide but its not wide enough to give that ultra wide distorted affect.
Great review man! I got the same combo. 18mm 1.4 aside I would just like to ask about your xpro3. I recently got it and I noticed that sometimes, even if im in single frame mode, when I take a series of photos where I continuous click the shutter button, some of the clicks gives me multiple photos instead of just one making it seem that I get random bursts just 2-4 frames from one click. But sometimes it’s kinda random. Not sure if I got a faulty copy or the shutter is just too sensitive or if I missed something on the menu. I made sure I have same settings with my xt4 and this issue doesnt exist on my xt4. I’m really worried now😭😭
thanks for the feedback! This is definitely not normal if you are in single shot mode. I would get it check at you local camera store or check with Fujifilm directly.
Ironically, I've been considering the purchase of this lens because I made a small fortune gambling (daily fantasy) on hockey exclusively this year. Best sport on Earth. It's a shame they're not gonna pack the Bell Centre for Games 3 & 4. The Habs have their work cut out for them in this series and perhaps the hometown faithful in all its glory would help them out. Anyhow, thanks for the review -- made me want the lens a little bit more. I agree it's a great focal length and the obligatory square lens hood will satisfy the hipster in me.

How speedy is the autofocus for video on this lens?
It is the speediest and most accurate I’ve tested so far.
I just got this lense and something inside rattles when I flip it up and down. Maybe I have a bad copy?
Maybe, the one I tested didn’t have any rattles. Might want to check with the store where you bought it.
This is normal. It should only happen when the camera is off though. If the camera is on and it makes that noise their is something wrong.
