Depends on your individual level of activity, metabolic rate, and your end goal. Carbs --> whole grains, sugar --> honey, fruit sugars, etc..., fats --> avocado, nuts, fish oils, etc..., protein --> chicken, fish, and pork occasionally red meats like beef. Don't eat lots of fried foods and always incorporate leaf vegetables when you can. For instance, you can look for whole grain cereals add fruit and eat with milk or soymilk. You can always boil a bunch of chicken and store in refrigerator and when you want to eat it shred it up and add plenty of spices and eat with pasta, rice, or as lettuce wraps. You always want to make your food flavorful and to up the exercise. For me I used to be restrictive with food, but that is no way to live so now I eat what I want in moderate amounts. Any sweet cravings probably mean you are not eating nutritionally dense enough foods or enough bitter foods. Eat grapes or dates which can be really sweet and add bitter greens into your diet. I don't have this problem, but I'm a bit sedentary so I do a lot of work around the house to move around. Healthy mind is a healthy body.

what are they complaining about ? it's a lot of vegetables and that doesn't look boring or plain to me.. that's just healthy... fruits and oatmeal + egg whites for breakfast is pretty healthy and for snack some Greek yoghurt I would maybe add some blueberries to that and then for dinner vegetables with quinoa Salat and meat.

Kim Holland im actually having a peach or a piece of pineapple every morning and eggs with zucchini and tomatoes + some garlic powder every single morning + I take my vitamin pills then have a smoothie with some green tea powder to that like legit every single morning I'm obsessed with peach and zucchini. The only meat I eat is chicken so then I either have a Salad with chicken or vegetable + rice and chicken for lunch. Dinner changes constantly but mostly I'm just having a little of what I ate earlier or do something else.
You are only stating that the first part of the diet was good which last I checked they both said it was very manageable the part that they struggled with was the all liquid diet which I'm sure a lot of people possibly even including you would struggle with.

it depends on what they're modelling for, high fashion runways typically want their models to have straight faces so it doesn't take away from their clothes but then there are runways like victoria's secret that require their models to smile and be playful. There are also other aspects like editorials which vary incredibly depending on the photographer/designer's vision for the photos. People who do professional modelling love it a lot and are almost always happy about it modelling.

The actual diet is fine but the liquid diet isn’t as good. The models don’t do it all the time so it isn’t as dangerous.
For those people who eat quite healthy already, doing the models every day diet will be fine to do. But for people who eat unhealthy food daily, you will want to start slowly

Beatriz F Breakfast is supposed to be the biggest meal of the day and depending on your age if you are around 13 then it is advised to eat 1300 to 1500 calories a day and if you are 18+ it is important to eat 1700 to 2100 calories a day

The models are 100% not supposed to represent the people who buy the product. They're basically supposed to act as flawless, sexy ... clothes hangers. They're supposed to look incredibly gorgeous and unattainable, so that we as women want to buy the products because we think it will give us some of that sexiness, and men will want to buy the products for us, so that we will look like that for them. I heard once in a documentary that designers basically pick models that will show the clothes without distorting them too much with their bodies, so yeah they're basically sexy clothes hangers, not representations of their customer base.

If someone wants to loose weight all they have to do is eat healthier not any less food just healthier and exercise more. This diet is both stupid and dangerous.
The only weight to lose on a diet like that is water weight and that is exactly why vs models go through this (they already have an appropriate fat percentage for their job before this). Do a long term diet of protein powder/eggs whites and your kidneys will suffer, not even a gallon of water a day will save them. Breakfast is ok though.

I feel like sharing something:
I have Hypothyroidism, and, well, two years ago, out of frustration I went on a 800cal diet.
I was also not working out.
Yeah, it was really unhealthy. I did lose weight, which was my goal. 12kg in some months.
Would I recomend someone doing what I did? No. Don't. It just makes you tired and starving. You have no energy to do anything.
Please people, remmember that losing weight is about a life style change, and not a quick-fix diet. You'll feel awful and gain it all back. Eat enough and work out. Be safe.
Fisherdisease one thing that helped me in like doing a diet but not so restrictive is eating salad, quinoa or washed rice as carb, sometimes pasta. Eating egg fills a lot and veggies that you like

I have Hypothyroidism too! I'm not sure what Sasha Pieterse has but I suspect she's hypo too, she got a lot of hate for gaining weight but it's not something you can control if you don't know you're hypo, I didn't know what was wrong with me for the longest time. I feel like more people need to talk about it and raise awareness because I bet there are women everywhere who don't know they have it!

I'm a Muslim, and in Ramadan, we fast every day in that month(30 days). we eat after 6(and it depends in which country you live)... but, we eat loads of food after fasting, and so because of that, we only get fatter in Ramadan whilst fasting😂
I honestly think they exaggerated, there are people who have Fasted for more than a week . The Amercican diet has people eating so much more food than a normal human should actually need. just makes me upset how we go on our privileged lives and wine about "not eating enough" when there are children dying of starvation. just my thoughts ...

OMG I was on this diet accidentally for years! I could only consume liquids/soft foods for a long time and I was always so mean and cranky and it destroyed my body. DO NOT DO ALL LIQUIDS UNLESS YOU HAVE TO! Thanks for debunking this!!!!!!!

I thought the egg white powder goes in the smoothie for protein but then she was eating real eggs so idk lol
by dehydrating the egg whites and turning them into powder, it takes away the need for refrigeration, and also gets rid of the risk of salmonella because it's cooked out under a low heat. this makes it an excellent low carb protein powder (and MUCH safer than just... putting egg white in your smoothie... yuck)
Days one and two are basically what I've been eating for nine months. It's not that hard when you get used to it if you have the motivation. I was so sick of being fat and unhealthy so I made a change. Of course you can have cheat days where you have some treats but it's pretty easy to maintain. 15kg down and I feel better than ever.

As much as we might desire a model to represent the consumer that just isn't the reality of it - no where does it say models are supposed to represent the customer who will be buying the clothes. There are 'catalogue' models, that are typically more representative of us as consumers - they tend to have a more relatable look - slightly heavier, fuller faces, bigger smiles, etc. Perhaps you are thinking of these more 'commercial' models. Runway models have a very different feel than the 'commercial' models you'd see in a catalogue or more mainstream brands like a Target or Sears. Runway shows are not supposed to represent the consumer, but rather a vision of the designer - they're supposed to be walking works of art. VS shows are not very consumer driven, but rather, are a form of entertainment meant to leave consumers feeling a certain way about the brand and that season's collection or featured designer. Simply put, runway models are likened to 'blank canvases' for a designer's artistic vision; Commercial/catalogue models are more relatable and representative of a brand's targeted consumer.

Since when is eating real food (except for all the protein smoothies) unhealthy? I just really feel like we are brainwashed to eat huuge quantities so we can buy more and thus consume more.

I am in no way condoning this diet, but it might be easier for the VS models to continue for nine days than for these two because the models' bodies already weigh less and as such burn fewer calories per day, making the same diet (slightly) more filling.
I feel so much respect for these girls who walk the runway, because we dont see the hard work and dedication they put in their career. Good genes are nothing without hard work.

As I'm in high school I struggle to get to sleep due to my insomnia so usually when I wake up I don't eat breakfast or it will make my feel ill and I usually don't eat anything until 1:30 In the afternoon so watching this is really weird to me because i didn't realise that people usually eat a lot
that used to be me but i started forcing myself to eat breakfast everyday even though i hated it but now breakfast is my favorite so idk if that may help you?? like your body will get used to it dhskhdks
lottie Bry When I was in High School I was the same way. If I ate in the morning I would be sick; so, I never ate until I got home at 2:15ish. I think it perfectly fine as long as you eat enough later in the day. As I got older it changed.

Caitlin Morrison Why do you assume it's just water weight? Your burning off more than what you're eating, so your body will be using fat storages to give you energy. So yes they would lose weight. They'd also lose some water weight because they're drinking a gallon of water a day, which in turn allows your body to not hold onto excess water because it knows your going to replenish it with more.
Caitlin Morrison ummm what's water weight?! If you drank a lot of water you wouldn't lose "water weight". Your body actually uses fat if you don't eat enough carbs.
I wonder how the models bounce back after doing this? Like you hear all the time about fitness competitors starving themselves basically before a show and then suffering from metabolic damage and putting on crazy weight afterwards. I wonder how the models bypass that?

I am okay with the fact that an idolized body may be slimmish, because an idolized body should be a healthy body (which can be slim). BUT WHY do we love vs models when they obviously are not healthy. their body's aren't healthy they are near starving. BOOOOOO

The vs angels are healthy and being thin doesn't equal unhealthy. They eat and work out a lot and if you have a fast metabolism it's a plus. They just have this certain diet before a show that happens _once_ a year....
VS models are some of the healthiest, fit women that there are. hell, most of the Victorias Secret models are damn muscular compared to the average woman and it takes a calorie surplus to build muscle- they're not starving, they're just eating the right foods and exercising year-round. what is shown in the video is a pre-show fast intended to shed water weight, it is not meant to be a sustainable diet at all.

Seriously? Buying meat is so expensive! If you know how to grocery shop properly and buy what’s in season, you can save so much money. I buy tons of fruit, vegetables, beans and grains. When I used to buy meat, my grocery bill was double the cost.
