Yes, Tobias is a Freemason. Fun fact: This video gives a clue of his successor. The red Cardinal sitting on the Tombstone😊

Ghost have just completed a huge set of international tours supporting the wonderful 'Impera' album. As part of that, two L.A. concerts were filmed (mobile phones banned) for the purposes of making a film, to come out sometime in 2024, we think, in which some live footage will feature. Next, Tobias is working on album # 6, has said he has a few songs written - but after the huge amount of touring and the two major projects under way, I can't see Ghost touring in the U.K. for quite some time, at least until they have new material or project to promote. It's driving all us Ghost fans potty, as it's a deafening silence!

    Great reaction guys 😊🤘🏻
In reference to your "one of the band is a Freemason.." The band is virtually one person, Tobias Forge, the creative force behind the music, lyrics and the lore. He sometimes co-writes music with others, but it's mostly his work. For the tours and concerts he signs session musicians. Last couple of years the crew has been pretty stable tho. It's all about chemistry and what is the best for the band. I've been to 9 rituals as of now, and can't wait for the next chapter to unveil. We're in a "limbo" after the Impera cycle..
Next up is the release from the LA live recordings, and then of course as others have mentioned, Tobias is already writing new stuff. He always write new music, even while touring, and in his head he is always (at least) one album, step or idea if you will ahead.
Tobias does not really stick to one or two genres when writing songs. He writes all kinds of music, but one of his primary aims has always been to entertain. The band has it's own huuuge lore, and it just takes too much time to go into in detail. Some things worth mentioning is that all the session musicians are called Nameless Ghouls. The vocalist, Papa Emeritus, is "replaced" almost every album/tour cycle, but are all performed by Tobias. They are almost all from the Papa Emeritus bloodline, which stems from the bands first vocalist (according to the lore) back in 1969, when Papa Nihil and the Nameless Ghouls of that time performed "Mary On A Cross" and "Kiss The Go-Goat". Those two songs were "re-released" on the "Seven Inches Of Satanic Panic" single in 2019.
Next step depends on what direction you want to take this Ghost journey.. One thing I can guarantee you, given your reaction on Square Hammer, is that you will enjoy the ride.. If you'd like to continue on their latest album, "Impera", you should at least listen to "Kaiserion", "Call me little sunshine" (Grammy nominee), "Hunter's Moon" or "Griftwood".. Harder stuff? 🤘🏻Check out "Cirice" (Grammy winner) and "Mummy Dust" from the "Meliora" album or "Faith" from the "Prequelle" album.. Wanna do poppy stuff? Do "Spillways" from the "Impera" album. More into the slow ones? Check out "He is" from the "Meliora" album, the beautiful "Life Eternal" from the "Prequelle" album, or "Darkness at the heart of my love" from the "Impera" album. Feel like dancing? Do "Dance Macabre" from the "Prequelle" album 😊
Finally.. I challenge you to try "Twenties" from the "Impera" album for some metal reggeaton. But remember... if you have Ghost, you have everything. 😉

Dudes it is silent film vibes (Nosferatu). As research would show, silent films were often tinted in colours including green.

I don't know many of Ghost songs, but this is my favorite one. Since you guys enjoy bands like Lovebites, Band-Maid, The Warning, I have one that I think you would really enjoy.
