Don't want to burst your bubble but the range with the skydio2 plus in real life is around 3,500 feet only. The improvement from the original is around 800 f.
Skyidio2+ pretty cool wish it was more affordable though and weather I understand where you're coming from I live in Ohio and the weather can be very unpredictable as well
Now that Skydio has left it’s consumer side and focusing on its Enterprise clients confirmed via email, do you still think a consumer Skydio 3 is a possibility?

I am definitely not a professional when it comes to you too by any means. Just pick a subject that you’re passionate about and start recording. That’s the biggest first step you don’t need a fancy camera just use your phone that’s all I do. Takes a long time to build the following to a point where you’re making money but just keep pushing it and you’ll get there
Either they are not interested in the drone hobbyist market or totally clueless, as this drone is catering to such a small segment in the North American outdoor sports market. Can not even be considered a film tool with it’s 3-year old camera, least range of all consumer drones including Sub-250g & AFAIK still cannot fly at night even with Obstacle Avoidance turned OFF! I’d gladly pay Mavic 3 prices if Skydio had a 1” sensor & improved it’s manual controller!!!

How long did it take to ship to you from when you ordered it?
I believe I got my tracking information about a week after ordering. And then I receive the drone about two days after that
Do you know the maximum number of key frames you can save on one flight?

For certain types of content creation I can see its value. If you’re a mountain biker, motocross. But for myself it’s not something I use very often

Not a Skydio fan, since I'm not a narcissist. Without the beacon, it's a nothing burger. It's limited range a disappointment.
