    Julie - Thank you so much for your videos! I got mine as a gift last December and due to Covid19, I haven't been able to take any classes at the store where I purchased it. Your videos are a wonderful tutor - I particularly like how you will mention a step more than once so we can see it again. I also appreciate how you will zoom in and out for us. Wonderful to watch!! Thank you so much!

    Ooh I've only recently found you Julie...I would have LOVED your videos in 2015 when I first got my Dream Machine...but better late than never! Your manner and tutorials are sooooo good...I'm starting to binge watch them. So inspiring to get back into it properly again. I've been just so busy with work that my sewing had to come second...but we are retiring and I'm all enthused again! Thank you!! Lindy

      What a huge compliment Lindy! Thank you...I have actually been thinking about going back and refilming some of the early videos so they are in regular format instead of the narrow. Hope you are nestled in while we all come together and support each other through this crazy time. Julie

      Julie Murphy - Dream Machine Most welcome Julie... oh heck yes that would be terrific if you did. I just can’t believe wherever we are in the world we are basically all in the same boat. I think embroidery and quilting etc might be the perfect distraction. We just don’t know from one day to the next how many more restrictions are ready to be imposed. You keep safe. Xxx

    Julie ... I've watched numerous videos on different techniques of machine embroidery for Baby Lock. Yours is absolutely the best I've seen because you actually slow down and take us step by step instead of racing through key strokes on machine. I truly wish you did ALL Baby lock videos. Great job!!!

    Thank you so much, Julie. I’m trying to teach myself how to use my Dream Machine 2. I watched your basting video earlier and it worked straight away. I’m thrilled. You are so gentle and have a calming voice. Great presentation!

    As usual , Great video ! No matter what video I have watched on the basting stitch, I still can't get mine to work. Just seems to skip all the way around, even if I adjust first

    • @JulieMurphyDreamMachine

      Hey Marie, I know what you are talking about...the way I deal with this is I use the +/- button at the bottom and advance to the first stitch and then do use our needle down/up button and hold both the bobbin and top threads before doing the basting stitch. It is such a large stitch that the machine doesn't stitch like it does for regular stitching.

      Alice Jette i would watch for someone selling their Dream or their Destiny...they are identical machines except for color and a few designs differences

    Julie, I totally loved your video. It appears you did not use a micro thread on your lettering. Can you suggest when one might want to use micro and when to use regular embroidery thread. Thank you so much for sharing, I learn so much from your videos.

    • @JulieMurphyDreamMachine
      @JulieMurphyDreamMachine  6 лет назад

      Hey Lois, I would use a micro thread if I was doing a lot of really small stitching...like the letters for "love" in the top left. I didn't need it for just the one word but would have switched if I was doing a saying.

    • @JulieMurphyDreamMachine
      @JulieMurphyDreamMachine  6 лет назад

      Thank you...I'm not real sure what you are asking, but the Coloring Book video shows scanning in a page, redesigning, and then stitching. Is this what you were asking? If not, just let me know

    Julie i have a question on scanning a image of a design.when it has lettering the words don't come up good they are blurred.this is for tote bag on have to put their emblem on it .is there something I'm doing wrong ? thank you

    • @JulieMurphyDreamMachine
      @JulieMurphyDreamMachine  6 лет назад

      Hi Fran, you might want to go in and delete the words of the scanned image and then add them back using the built-in letters in the machine. For whatever reason, our machines don't always do very well with scanned letters.
