Thank you! Even though I have purchased the Luminaire, I haven't received it and I know every bit I can learn about the Dream will help me. I really appreciate your videos.
Congratulations!!!! and thank you for your kind words. I know that a lot of the videos will still be relevant even with your new machine. I'm so happy for you on your new machine.
Hi Debbie, it really is what size you do most of your designs. I started with the LM2 which is the 8x8 amzn.to/33ZAwJS I found that this my go to hoop. I then purchased the LM7 8x12.. amzn.to/2vUgm7h I use it when I am working on shirts but not as much as my 8x8. My latest purchase has been the LM1 5x7...amzn.to/3bDMBqN - I really used it a lot at the holidays because of working on towels and an OESD tile scene. Hope this helps.
I have just bought the brother xv and I thank you so much for teaching me how to use it. Your teaching method is fantastic. thorough and patient. Would you be able to make a video on making an applique of ones own scanned picture from start to finish. I’m sure it would be appreciated by many people.
zel boake thank you for the kind words...you mentioned about a video of our own scanned image...did you see the video I made scanning in a coloring book page? Take a look and see if that helps, if not let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
Thank you Julie...it has been a crazy few months. As for the new machine, it looks great, but they have a few bugs to work out. I love the projection onto the fabric, the echo quilting stitch, and I really love the new feature of not having to remove screws to take off the throat plate to clean out the machine. The cons that I have observed so far are the lag time on the screen and I don't like the lack of color on the display. If you are considering one, I would say go for it...if you are enjoying your Dream Machine and feel like you have areas you still want to explore, I would say wait for the Luminaire 2.
