I drove past right before some jerk bought the house and gutted it, I think about 1995 or so? People fans put up signs decrying the desecration. Wish LA would wise up and treat these sites as historic monuments.
To be honest, I’m not the kind of guy who would feel comfortable living in a really prestigious and wealthy neighbourhood ie:- Beverly Hills etc, but I must say after watching this vlog and some other vlogs from other people about “ Love Street “ I am convinced I would love to live in that neighbourhood. Hopefully, one day, I will visit Laurel Canyon, even if it’s on my bucket list, I sense I would never want to leave.
As a huge Doors Fan i really enjoyed this . Its a shame that Jim had this Death Wish for most of his life . If he had only stayed in Laurel Canyon and focused on his Music instead of Drugs & Alcohol ? No telling how many more great Doors lps we would have ? Thanks For All Your Hard Work Bro .

Did you go to Frank Zappa's place right up the road, other side of the street, maybe a quarter mile past the light at Lookout Mountain? Lot of signs of Frank there. It's pretty cool. ✌🏼

Watching the Doors movie is a little misleading as the song plays while Jim & Pam are near the canal areas of Venice which is many miles ? 14 miles from Laurel Canyon Drive to the northeast.

Just an area with great history. Laurel Canyon had all kinds of great artists and performers. Mr. Mojorisin and the Lizard King.
I'm reading "Weird Scenes Inside The Canyon" There is a chapter about him and the Doors, interesting book. IMO
