To those of us who have never been there, this video is truly stunning. I can't imagine the nervous hours when the fire hit, but I'm glad the firemen got it under control fast.

I'm glad we left California. The best decision my dad ever made!!! I do however pray for the people that were affected by the fires and for the safety of all others. My brother and his wife still live in Ventura. I'm also praying for their safety! I love it here in Kansas!❤ Very quiet and peaceful country
@MultiSweener Cool! I was gone and graduated by then. But in 78 It was a great town. Only had a Bobs Big Boy if I remember right. Or Maybe it was Kips 🤔

I am trying so hard to hold back the tears with the awful situation in Los Angeles as it's a very special place in my heart Ever since i first visited Hollywood twenty six years ago and to return three times more years later, but thank you for This beautiful video with love and greetings from Ireland.
I want to make it clear that I’m not American, and I don’t live in Los Angeles. However, in the way I think and feel, I sometimes believe that in a past life, I must have come from this amazing city. I love Los Angeles, and every time I visit, it truly feels like home to me. I’m deeply saddened by the massive wildfire currently devastating the area. My heart goes out to all the people affected by this tragedy. Thank you once again for this beautiful video, which perfectly showcases the incredible beauty of this city. 🌟

That’s why I moved away The whole place is over populated and the dream is over. It’s hard to explain California to people but it’s definitely not what it used to be. I grew up in San Diego and I often long to see it again as it was in the late 70s, also hard to explain. I blame timeshares and foreign investors they just sucked the life out of most neighborhoods. Don’t get me started on traffic and texting while driving 🙄❤️
It is a symbolic symbol of Los Angeles California. It is recognized throughout the United States and the world. As in any state or city things change with the growing modern times. The sign is a symbol of old California Hollywood. It is a familiar sight to see. It belongs there. And it has stood the test of time. 🇺🇸
Despite the tragic events, it was a great pleasure to float over the hills! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful trip! Best wishes from Germany!
It is interesting. As an Australian, I notice they have quite a few of the Aussie Eucalypt trees planted. Apparently they have not heard about the bushfires we have in Australia. It is an explosive tree and needs to be removed and replaced with more beautiful trees like oaks or elms. These trees do not explode into fire.
Thank you for this video. Glad the sign is safe for now. May all future output from this be positive and building up rather than cheap sex and violence.
I cannot get my simple minded brain to comprehend this nightmare, and I live over 2000 miles away. I have visited LA several times and really could never get enough of the natural beauty from the mountains to the ocean. Riding the Amtrak from Los Angeles to San Diego was a dream trip for me. It is all gone now and will take a bout 100 years for the nature to come back. Why would anyone want to rebuild their home after this? My prayers to everyone as it will be a lifetime of struggle for anyone choosing to stay, says me. I pray for peace and comfort and the phycological trauma hasn't even begun to take hold at this early stage and I pray people will not harm themselves over time.

So the fire didn't reach the area
Neighborhoods stacked with kindling.
Wow, when the big one hits, all those homes built on the side of hills will be destroyed and falling on top of each other…😳🤦♂️
That drone has range
Fantastic drone footage of the approach through the hills and canyons....Hollywood Hillbillies 😅
Nice video.
And everybody knows that you're in trouble
Everybody knows what you've been through
From the bloody cross on top of Calvary
To the beach of Malibu
Everybody knows it's coming apart
Take one last look at this Sacred Heart
Before it blows
Imagini?
I spotted a coyote close to those homes at the 3:00 mark.

E-Coyote
God is still merciful to it! Never late to repent!
I don't know if this drone flight was legal, but I sure enjoyed watching it and following along on GE, thanks.
There’s still fire
Great video. It's amazing with all that wealth in California, not one person has thought of a way to save properties (their property) against the inevitable wildfire. Smh.
