My father passed away few years ago when I was 14 , me and my mother feel really unsafe when we go out because my mother never used a scooty and neither did I . We have a scooty but we feel really unsafe when we have to drive sometimes at night and especially at night . Have been looking for Tiago because I think it will be a good option . Just gonna wait until we have the money
Buy a safe car and drive within limits. Don’t have the fear all the time as it can negatively affect your safety. Control what you can and leave the rest to god.

Tiago is like 3 lakh on the used market for 8 year old with 180,000 km but these cars last like 600,000 km as long as you dont live in areas prone to rust. It's a awesome value. So crazy how a average Indian can pay off their car way faster than average Americans.

I am gonna miss the Diesel engine of the Tiago. It was punchy and was so much fun with the manual gearbox. And it was the car which has increased the popularity of Faisal in 2018.
Tata Tiago could've got the Quadrajet instead of 1.05L Revotorq. That Revotorq was really Lethargic. Whereas Quadrajet is way superior in terms of outright punch Especially after 2000rpm.

My conclusion Cons: •So many exposed wirings below the dashboard, not recommended for people who have small kids •storage space in the middle makes it impossible for sitting in the middle •no rear ac vents (ofc it’s not needed in such a small car but as per competitors...) •laggy and jerky gearbox Pros: •Amazing music system •Out of the world safety and exterior finish •Gooood power and mileage to offer •Nvh levels are quite low in high end •Drives nicely Overall I’d suggest you to buy manual variant right away if this isn’t your first car (coz u need to have some maintenance experience to keep the car in good condition, yes I heard it has high frequency of maintenance)

I am a proud BOLT owner since 2015. The petrol engine in BOLT is just awesome and really gets that OOMMPPHHHH factor. The rear seat space in BOLT is too generous that we may feel Tiago and Tigor as congested cars too (may not be so for someone who updates from an Alto). The storage spaces were a concern as the door pockets could not hold conventional bottles. Instead, I bought 350ml square bottles from amazon to satisfy needs. The highlight of BOLT is its 4 cylinder Turbo petrol engine with SPORT mode. But it is cast iron which affects the fuel efficiency of the car which already weighs 1.2 tonnes. But, once I completed 4 years, mileage figures began to increase and engines became more silent, thus gave me constant figures of 15 kmpl once it touched 5 years of my drive with it. I think Faisal forgot to show the SPORT mode button in Tiago AMT as well, which is placed in the gearbox. The rear wiper spray can be operated by rolling the rear wiper rotary knob downwards. One more thing, BOLT has got backlit illumination in all the power window buttons and the ones in all 4 doors as well. Rear Fog Lamp too was available from XM variant itself in BOLT, which made it the best buy, but somehow people hated its design. Anyway, I am quite satisfied even after 5 years and keeping it forever.
First of All safety is my priority. I will choose any tough and safer car available whether ford's or any other tata cars. Only tiago's engine is not powerful but nexon's engine is very good. Nexon is very fun to drive car plus it's very stable on high speeds and harrier/safari have the most powerful engine ever made by tata motors. You will shit on pants while driving harrier/safari, they both can go 180kmph++ on highways

No doubt tata cars build quality is so great, its proof is just after a year or two everything rattles, I.e. vibration in dash board, door window glasses, dickey light and its cover just hangs by cable wire, headlights and fog light bulbs die young, and last but not the least sudden stopping of fuel supply to engine which results in sudden and horrible jerks in smaller gears... all this comes with bonus of losing huge resale value... in my case I was offered maximum of 3.4 lakh by a private buyer which was highest figured value that I received for my August 2017 model tiago XZ variant with running only 13 thousand kms, with zero accident or damage record, at maruti true value I was offered 2.4 lakh and tata own dealership offered me 3.30 lakh.
Tata Tiago was a game changer for Tata Motors. It assisted tata motors to improve their brand image and reputation which was dethroned by its predecessor due to their issue.
Drive the manual bro it has a significant difference ,the car keeps going even after 170kmph, steering feedback is the best better than ignis ,swift i20, Baleno even in 70 kmph I turned the car but I bet u will not have the guts to do this with swift or any other Maruti cars ,just ride the WagonR even the Baleno and ride this in rainy wet conditions u will notice the difference
Agreed Tiago has great Ride and Handling Balance but the engine of Tiago is the worst . Very noisy and unrefined . Though not underpowered but there are a lot of flat spots in the power band . The engine just struggles even only with the driver on board . And please don't compare it with Swift . Both the cars give a different type of driving experience . The fun of driving the Swift in hilly areas or corners is unbeatable . The handling , the chassis balance and the oversteery nature of the Swift just puts a a big smile on your face . This type of fun no car can give you . Tiago on straight roads have brilliant Handling . Tiago's steering offer decent feel and feedback . But the engine's performance doesn't match the dynamics of the Tiago . On road performance of Swift is a lot better than Tiago . Tiago is a very slow car . Engine of the Tiago is a big negative point . Swift is a more fun car to drive . Tiago is a underpowered car . Before commenting drive both of them side by side in every type of conditions . Swift is better in terms of driving dynamics .

On road performance of Swift is a lot better than Tiago . Tiago is a very slow car . Engine of the Tiago is a big negative point . Swift is a more fun car to drive . Tiago is a underpowered car .
Before commenting drive both of them side by side in every type of conditions . Swift is better in terms of driving dynamics .
@@lichazra I don't know why people spread so much of rumours ,I have the 2020 xz and is not noisy,who said it is underpowered it keeps going ,touched 170 on it ,talking about hilly areas swift steering is just too light in high speeds u don't have that confidence to even turn that car in high speeds ofcourse with that tin can body it moves much faster,and talking ofthe noise come on man don't act like it is a electric car ,u may have driven the Tiago with wrong clutch adjustment so it vibrates a lot,but just adjust it perfectly and the vibration thing will not bother u ,I have test driven the swift too ,the car doesn't make u feel special ,yes the engine is little bit smoother but doesn't mean Tiago is worst ,Tiago gives 15 to 16 in the city ,just stop spreading rumours u pay more and get a tin can with bumpy suspension ,Jago grahak Jago

Tiago has a lot of vibrations as it's a 3 cylinder engine . Tiago is a underpowered as well . On City the engine doesn't even have power to overtake a car in city also . That's how underpowered the car .
You have got used to Tiago's noisy , unrefined and underpowered Engine . That's why you are saying like this . You said that Tiago is not noisy that signifies that you are a paid Tata guy .
@@lichazra the face lift version of the Tata Tiago and the older one has a big big difference one who talks about Tiago is a paid one but tin can riders are very honest come on man ,Tata don't have to pay anybody ,I know how is the suspension setup of the swift just jump and jump ,worst high speed stability ,just drive the new Tiago its much peppier than before ,u pay almost one lakh more and get a tin can ,I know my neighbour prblm of rattling sound from his desire ,he changed his suspension and what not ,u will 1 or 2 kmpl more on swift and nothing else , swift is good for small city rides but be careful from cycle also ,just on some bad patches and u will be like food is gonnna come out of my stomach.
And also vibration are not that prominent as the older one ,and the vibration it has is very normal almost every vehicle have this ,second thing I already told u the biggest reason of vibration in most of the tiagos is for the wrong clutch adjustments
