Analog gauges feels far more premium compared to cheap digital ones (Nexon/Kwid). Moreover I can look at it when I need it and does not announce itself with big changing digits on my FACE all the time.

Maruti has done a great job 👏 I feel really worth buying as it offers some of the unique feature which you don't see in the segment and also being 1.5lakh less in cost as compare to Hyundai i20... and most importantly, the build quality is very much improved 👌

Bought zeta variant in July 2022 as our first car for family purposes and this is how I've felt about it.
Caveat - This was my first ever car, so whatever I felt there would be some excitement bias in my positive points. :)
PROS
1. The engine is super smooth really! noise level feels just above an electric ig😂
2. Space is alot! Everywhere. Too spacious a car.
3. Suspensions are quite comfortable.
4. Quite fast. Picks up very quickly.
5. Speakers are good.
6. Features are good too. I like maruti connected car tech the most that gives real time information where the car is parked
7. I like the looks and specially the lighting - minimalist and pleasant.
8. Milage is decent enough. 15-17 in city drive.
Cons
1. The body is just not strong at all. Tin ka dabba unfortunately is a truth still. Infact this was one of the factors that was causing me to not go for this earlier but people said maruti has done something about it in 2022 one. I don't feel much.
2. Body catches scratch very quickly. You take it past beside a thorn and you'll get one. This is too irksome. Paying around 10 lacs you atleast expect a safe and strong body.
Overall if you're looking for space, comfort and maruti brand for reliability this is a good option but if you're too bent on the safety side you should definitely reconsider this.
Hi brother do u have nexa blue color. Does it attracts dust lot and scratches are visible? if you have nexa blue how is the mintanence.. because we are planning between Baleno blue or glanza white.
@@The_unsung yes it does attract lots of dust..for most of the time it's preferable to keep it covered, use micro fibre cloth only to wipe dust off or just get a car wash. Basically requires maintenance well. Scratches are also visible easily at a closer look.. and worryingly it catches scratches easily too. So yeah your call. All the best.

@@The_unsung yeah manual one. Highway experience is good upto 90-100 no stability or noise issues.. I've not driven above that until now neither do I intend with this body & family with me. Like it is light to the extent I notice it as a first time driver of any car so you can imagine. rest I can't compare with previous gens or other cars for that matter due to want of experience. With this. It's probably made for comfort, efficiency & brand trust much much more than safety. Baki 6 airbags, abs, ebd all are there. Frame ka issue ab bhi hai.

The engine is a weakling compare to altroz iturbo engine...and they are just about the same price in top end variants..
Tata don't have any expertise in petrol engines, so expect from them for any good is totally waste. Reason for being a poor performance from tata's revotron NA engine is lack of VVT. Fixed valve timing+ higher bhp(respect to displacement)= 💩👎. If they tuned engine for, say 65-70hp would be felt much more refined, rev happy with lot of low end grunt and might be faster in 0-100 than what it is now.

This is such an amazing car, it’s just cruel for this to be an unsafe car. I need a car below 10L soon and Altroz is amazing except the comparatively bad engine( I didn’t test drive the turbo version). I drove my friend’s new swift and it’s just amazing to drive. This engine inside altroz is the dream car we deserve.

The new Baleno looks stunning and the road presence looks amazing as well. What is disappointing is that the CVT has been replaced by AGS ..which in my opinion is inferior when compared with CVT or a traditional torque converter. I had a terrible experience with Celerio AMT and finally had to discard the car and go in for a Hyundai i10 AT. Maruti should rething it's decision to introduce AGS on Baleno when it has categorised Baleno as a premium hatch back.

Backseat armrest is a MUST in a car of this price and segment. It adds much to the comfort and overall experience. Huge miss from Maruti.
You can get it added later on 🤷.
But as per my discussion with one of the dealerships, the next batch of balenos may get a back armrest in the top variants.

So now a days, we see an LED headlight setup for most of the cars. I'm interested in knowing the Light output in practical usage. So for example Baleno comes with H4 Projector LED, so does Grand Vitara but Fronx on the other hand has an H7 setup (I guess)

Mr sukant , The hard truth is Baleno can never match the build quality of the altroz , however the new Baleno is comparatively better than the old one in terms of build quality, Initially I booked altroz and cancelled it due to poor pre sales and after sales of tata , And went ahead and booked the new Baleno, However if tata service is good in your area then you can go for it ,And after shelling out big bucks you would rather have peace of mind than spending time at service stations , Tata service is a hit or miss , I booked on the assumption that the new Baleno will have a 3 or 4 star and I'm satisfied with my decision , Although it is completely a personal choice of yours.

My dad wants to buy a sedan, I recommended Salvia AT, but his remark is it's overpriced, and wants Maruthi Ciaz AT. I can't digest Ciaz since its car stays in the same version since 2014 without a single update(even though I was crazy on Ciaz during the 2015-2016 time).
