Don't try to make DJI Avata a freestyle drone. Get the CINEMATIC FOOTAGE instead.

- I don't know why FPV community is trying to make DJI Avata a freestyle drone. For that i use my 5" frame and keep DJI Avata to get the footage like in this video.

The avata is NOT a freestyle drone. It’s a Cinewhoop, meant to get fluid/close cinematic shots. Your cinematic shots are amazing. Keep up the great work with the avata. 👏🏽

You're so right! People talk about doing loops and crazy stuff in manual mode but I don't think the Avata was every intended for that kind of thing. It's great at cinematic stuff like yours!

100% All the naysayers (for RUclips views) are trying to fit a round peg into a square hole. It's not an Acro flying machine. I use it for pure cinematic shots that I can't get with my other drones and power loops are not in my day to day shots.
Few experienced pilots proved that it can do some freestyle tricks and i agree with them, but for that i prefer to use my 5" drone which is much better for such scenarios. Greetings from Warsaw!
It's just a camera drone with goggles. I'm willing to bet you could get nearly 99% of the same shots with a regular camera drone.

I have a slightly different opinion. avata is a pretty good freestyle drone unless there is a yaw problem. Of course, there are better drones, but avata should be able to do it. Existing cinewhoop drones can do that. Only avata reveals the problem. This is obviously a problem.

Thanks a lot for the comment. Yaw problem is one issue only. I think we need slightly more power and less prop wash for some tricks. I will replace motors soon to see what i can get then. For sure will share here.
Why does the mini 3 videos do the same thing??? The video looks blurred...when people fly them too close to trees 🌳 and water 💧....but good idea 💡 👍 I was thinking of doing the same thing..and very pretty video 📹
Hi buddy! I would never try to fly in such forest with Mavic or Mini, even with prop guards. But of course you can try ;) Regarding blur i think thats how it works and this type of motion is visible more when the drone is closer to the subject. Here i had a fog as well which made the footage being not sharp, but i need to do more testing in similar conditions. In general Avata's camera does not like low light, but i still prefer it instead of putting GoPro 10 on this drone ;) Thanks for the comment and i'm waiting for your footage!

Hi, i use Gyroflow to stablize the footage and then i edit everything in Final Cut Pro
The mini3 would have been a better and cheaper drone for such shots

Interesting opinion. The Avata does freestyle flying equally as mediocre and it does cinematic footage. There are significantly better options for both. Shouldn't people use the Avata however they like considering they paid for it? 🤔🤷
Hi buddy! I’m a big fan of your channel and skills, so it’s great to see your comment. I agree 100% that it can do both, but… it has its limitations especially in freestyle in my opinion. That’s why i also plan to upgrade the motors to have a touch of extra power. The biggest issue in my opinion is how this dron was presented to the market. After all the commercials people started to fly it like crazy and now, they are surprised that it crashes while they are more aggressive. This is because many on new, not experienced pilots, don’t understand where the thin border is before they crash. But everyone should try both and decide what this amazing piece of technology is capable of. Thanks again for your comment -and now i need to see your tutorial and start replacing the motirs 😉
@@planetinthelens the Avata's biggest strength is it's versatility. It can do a lot of things in a small but adequate capacity to make it a fun "all-around" quad. That's ultimately what DJI wanted from it. To appeal to the masses. So if you want to do a little cinematic stuff ✅ or if you want to do a little freestyle/fun flying ✅. I think DJI failed us by releasing this drone to the masses before properly addressing the issues of its instability. My girlfriend's step dad has one that has none of the yaw issues which is what they all should be like. Imagine the Avata with some new motors (there are other companies designing motor and performance upgrades) and none of the instability issues that mine and many others have had. That would be a fun little drone to take on vacation to do some fun "freestyle" and get some cool dynamic cinematic shots.
@@MurdersFPV do you believe that this yaw issue can be fixed with a new firmware or the only way is to get new unit?
@@planetinthelens I honestly believe after everything I've heard and based on my experience with building and tuning quads, this yaw issues is mostly hardware related. A better tune could absolutely help and that is something DJI could put out over a firmware update.

Moim zdaniem brak ostrości i obraz smuży. Kamera ewidentnie potrzebuje światła. Oczywiście jest to moje subiektywne zdanie. Może mam kiepski sprzęt. Kaszuby urzekają. Pozdrawiam
