Love it!!!! My sewing “area” is currently my breakfast table in my kitchen. But dear hubby is finally coming round to getting rid of a 30 yr old couch and dresser in our extra bedroom…. Sew I can have my sewing room!!! 🎉❤
Chelsea, thank you for sharing that sewing area with us!! You are an inspiration and love seeing your wonderful smile and amazing disposition even when sewing doesn’t work out the best. Keep up the wonderful work and look forward to seeing more😊
You are so sweet and I wish I could be better at taking criticism and use them for positive. I watch because of your sweet personality and knowledge not because I care if your space is clean and organized.
The most important thing about your sewing room is that it is a space that brings you joy! It is your space and that’s what matters. Make it work for you! Thanks for sharing!❤
It’s helpful for you to give the sewing gang a dose of reality. New sewing gang people might have unrealistic expectations of equipment, materials and space so this was great.
It is so so great to see a true working sewing space, Chelsea! My space is similar but smaller, and I love it because it’s mine, Mess and all, but it works for me. Thanks for sharing ❤
The peg board idea is BRILLIANT!!! Thank you for sharing your space. No matyer what as long as it works for you, that is all that counts....... I'm trying to get my space together again, for the whatever time now.......💚✌🏵🏵🏵🏵🏵peace, love and light sent to you.
It is so nice. Being new to sewing, I have a small table that has to be moved when I have company. I love watching your videos. You are so encouraging and supportive. Thanks for making me braver when sewing. You are a gem.
Love it! OMG, Chelsea, thank you so much for sharing! I love that you can keep your ironing space set up. Also, seeing your sewing machines makes me think of another idea that's been in my head for a while now. Do you think it would be possible to make a cover (out of dish drying mats, haha) for like a sewing machine or a small kitchen appliance? You know, things you want to keep out, like a toaster or stand mixer. With a handle on top so you can whisk it away when you need to use the machine. Just another wild thought. I have lots! And I love all your projects! ❤
Hahaha, my Mrs. Beesley doll sits on my shelf in my sewing room right next to my teddy, Benjamin and my son’s teddy, Happy Bear. My sewing room in my son’s old bedroom. I miss my son living at home but love having my own space where I can close myself in and ignore the world or close the door to the mess inside and worry about that another day!
I love your space. I am suspicious of crafters/sewist who have beautifully decorated but otherwise empty craft spaces. For years I thought that was what my space should look like. Then I realized I was putting off crafting because I didnt want to “ mess it up”! Now its not so pristine but I sure enjoy it a lot!! Thanks for posting❤
This is sooooooo inspirational and creative!!!! I love that it's realistic and not hyper-organized. It's clearly very functional and that's all that matters! Also, I love the little sentimental touches on display, very very sweet!
I love your sewing space, I have a very small it works great for me lol. I keep my fabric in small clear tubs so I can find what I'm looking for without going through all my tubs. I have a loft in my garage that keeps most of my fabric. I'm going to try and go through some of it and down size. If I haven't used it yet, I may not ever, so I thought I'd share some fabric 😊
Ohhhh if I could only show you mine…. 😂 it spills out of my space into the hall, the kitchen and the living room … I don’t complain about having to walk all over the house to cut and organize because I have the smallest most beautiful space that I am grateful for… but my hubby hates that I spread out. I’m very organized but not the nearest or quickest at picking it all up. 😂 thanks for being authentic ❤
I love the boxes on the wall for your fabric. Great idea! I didn't know those large ironing boards were sold, I've only seen people make their own. I'll need to look into that. Your space is nice and efficient. My husband hung up a pegboard for me recently. It's a game changer for me.
You could fit sooo much more in that utility closet if u just use some comic book boards to wrap your fabric then u can stack them up vertical or horizontal and same with your quilting cotton
Wow great room. It you know where everything is great😅 it is like husband shop in the garage he carpenter l get it. Love all sewing machines you have. Ij am just beginning with . .my sewing room. Thank you for neat things that showing us how to sew. My dad would so proud of me. He was a tailor for Frederick Nelson. Thank Thank you.
Ohhh.. The ironing board intrigues me. 🤔 I did upgrade the pad and cover on Ol' Bessie, but it's never enough and just annoys me. I like the idea of that one.
Love your sawing room. I have extra bedroom in my house, as my craft room but now I work from home is taken some space . You definitely gave me some Idea how can work around it. I have a small walk in closet but is full of yarn. I have to many hobbies!
I love your sewing space! Must say I knew I heard you say something about dollar general the other day but couldn’t remember what you said! So I went in the yesterday and bought 3 of their winter dish drying mats! They are so pretty! I think better than the fall ones from dollar tree by a mile! They might be a tad smaller but they look so much better! Red lining with ivory/ white front with blues and greens and a snowman. No Santa Claus but I fell in love! They are $3 a piece but I had no problem with that! I also got a pink and white striped one! It’s a skinny stripe and it’s really cute! It might be a little bit bigger. The pink one was back with the other kitchen things, but the winter ones were in the Christmas area. Love your videos thank you so much for sharing all this. ❤😊
If it works for you it is perfect, I'm very old so I have to put it all away lol,my husband installed ready made cabinets from home depot with counter tops and it feels happy to me but I l9ve your space❤
I Love your sewing room. What I would give to have a beautiful space like that. I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment. My sewing area is in my living room in the corner. I never get any company so I don"t care what it looks like. I am Happy with what I have.
Found your channel a couple of months ago. I’m north of Nashville. Hi neighbor. Love your cheery personality. That chair is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen for a sewing chair. Did you reupholster it or did it come that way?
Love your loft! My sewing room is our den 13×14 ft and constantly a hot mess! Maybe someday I will be organized 😅😅. 49 years of sewing and fabric collecting makes a lot of hot messes 😂❤
Love it, & keeping it real. I am working on setting up my sewing room starting today and it is a bit overwhelming making decisions on where and how to store stuff, keep things nearby my machine etc. praying it goes well.
I love this! I have been thrifting alot of random fabrics, notions ect. And taking advantage of sales for things I think may be useful. Have to move soon and hope to have my own sewing room! Or at least a she shed or corner lol
Mine stay a mess, I stay 5 days a week with my Mom that has Alzheimer’s and so I don’t have much time anymore plus my clothes are in the closet plus Mr clothes chest is in there also, and since I’ve been staying with Mom, I had my 3rd major back surgery😢But it is what it is
I have found that sewing is my salvation when caring for a friend or family member. It keeps me from getting too frustrated with them and allows them time for busy blankets and just staring off in space. I have done alot of elder care and we must take care of ourselves first before we can help them! ❤😮❤😊❤
My sewing room is also a craft room and extra bedroom...not the neatest room either..I try to clean it up but it never stays that way ....my sewing machine is in the kitchen on a table that's where I sew and my ironing board is in the sunroom right behind the sewing machine...dont have far to walk after I sew and need to iron...
I wouldn’t show mine to anybody, it’s messy an unorganized and looks like something blew up in there!! I will clean it sometime but I stay with my Mama that has Alzheimer’s 5 or more days a week, so right now I’m just doing the best I can❤

The Kenmore has the most beautiful straightstitch.
Oh my word. Thank you for sharing a TRUE sewing room. I feel so good about mine now and have no guilt about sewing. God bless you for your honesty!
You are so welcome!
First off, I just love the video content that you provide us with. I also love your honesty and how you connect with us.
So cute, I love your sewing room, one of my favorite things to do is watch sewing room videos 😊
Oh, I had a dressy Bessy. I think I gave it to a younger cousin. I loved it. I wish I had saved it. I have a granddaughter that would have loved it.
Oh my gosh Chelsea theres nothing worse than cleaning your sewing space!!!!! Your room is bright and cheerful!!! What an awesome space. ❤
The most important thing about your sewing room is that it is a space that brings you joy! It is your space and that’s what matters. Make it work for you! Thanks for sharing!❤
Thank you for the "tour"! Thank you also for keeping it real! My sewing room is a serious disaster, but I am imspired to organize it better now! 🥰
It’s helpful for you to give the sewing gang a dose of reality. New sewing gang people might have unrealistic expectations of equipment, materials and space so this was great.

A clean and organized sewing room is a clear sign of a broken sewing machine ...😘
I actual have a shirt that says that 😅
It is so nice. Being new to sewing, I have a small table that has to be moved when I have company. I love watching your videos. You are so encouraging and supportive. Thanks for making me braver when sewing. You are a gem.

Chelsea, nice of you to show off your sewing space. You are a delight to watch and I enjoy your enthusiasm in whatever project you show.
Love your tour and honesty! You are talented and funny and make sewing fun! Keep up the great work!! Your passion shows!
Thank you so much!
Cute, cozy sewing space. Love ❤️ it.
I love it ,I find if it’s buried in closet it never gets used
Love it! Love how real, honest & happy you are. It’s infectious:)💜

Fabulous. Your comment about "..someone likes to cut..." brought me back to being a young mom
I love your space. I am suspicious of crafters/sewist who have beautifully decorated but otherwise empty craft spaces. For years I thought that was what my space should look like. What a lovely space. So open, bright, and cheery. Love the peg board!
When had a sewing area, I called it Organized Chaos. 😂😂
Your sewing area looks more organized than mine. I need to get busy. You are awesome.
I love your cheerful personality, and I love the way you encourage when you are sewing. It really means a lot.❤️
I'm so glad!
Love your sewing room space as I have a very small small sewing room that I struggle for space with but yet that is comfy to me 💕
I appreciate your real sewing room. Mine isn't perfect organization either, but it works for me.
Looks exactly like mine!! I
know where everything is !! I hate an organized neat room..I use all my tools and want them handy❤ thank you for the tour
That's a great room, thanks for showing! You've given some helpful ideas for set-up!

That sounds like me, and yet I still find fabric that I don’t think I can live without😂
So true, or I feel its so pretty I can't cut it up.😊
Love your channel and tutorials. Love OC New Jersey. Love your dollar store ideas.
True sewers have lots of stuff. Organized as best we can do. I have plenty also. Your sewing studio looks neat.
Real life sewing is the best 👏👏👏👏
Awesome! My sewing space is in a corner of my living room. Oh, and it's a Hot Mess too!
Ohhhh if I could only show you mine…. 😂 it spills out of my space into the hall, the kitchen and the living room … I don’t complain about having to walk all over the house to cut and organize because I have the smallest most beautiful space that I am grateful for… but my hubby hates that I spread out. I love it! It is very neat in comparison to mine. The fan is not for 40! It’s because you are in the loft and heat rises!!!!! LOL. I love it!
I should offer to show mine too - maybe it would do the same for me and make me clean it up😅. I love the pegboard idea. Thanks for sharing.

It makes me so please you are so honesty and relatable! I’m not that girl either !! ❤😍x
Hey those folding tables sure come in handy lol I use one for my sewing table too 😊.
Your sewing space is very nice! If it was TOO neat and organized I would think that no one is sewing anything there! LOL! 😅
Ohhh.. The ironing board intrigues me. 🤔 I did upgrade the pad and cover on Ol' Bessie, but it's never enough and just annoys me. I like the idea of that one.
Beautiful. Mine is in my loft too!!! All hidden yet I can hear and peep over the banister IF I WANNA lol
I need that ironing board!!!! Also, your sewing space is way more organized and cleaner than mine. It looks like a bomb went off in my room
Love your sawing room. I have extra bedroom in my house, as my craft room but now I work from home is taken some space . You definitely gave me some Idea how can work around it. I have a small walk in closet but is full of yarn. I have to many hobbies!

Your cutting board looks huge. How big is it? I am thinking of getting a rotational cutting board. What do you think of them?
What is your sewing chair? Do you like it?
❤
