I know. If I continued, somebody would get pissed off. That is the last time I will sound the horn there. That was a really great echo spot, unfortunately
Could you do a walk through video on parts and such my daughter would love this. Like what pressure are you running? How did you setup your diaphragm? Also have you thought about a larger air inlet? Maybe make a pvc air chamber with a 1inch sprinkler valve you can run them up around 120-150 psi ive used them in air cannons
Check out my first video on my channel that has the most views and has some of the details. Unfortunately, I don't have a video on building the power chamber. Still working on it Stay tuned
Jaysus that's one hell of an echo! I'm wondering how loud are your PVC ship horns, PVC train horns are fairly close to real train horns 106-112 dB at 100 ft. I'm gonna assume your horns are close to real ship horns which typically average 118-123 dB at 100 ft. I wonder if you'll do a distance test because ship / fog horns can be heard 10-25 miles away with some reports extending up to 40 miles.
Most of my recordings took place where the terrain I was in absorbs the sound. I do know on a calm night on a big lake with surrounding hills, the sound would really travel
@@BigHorndb188 Would really like to see you blow your horns across the lake like the one in your profile picture. as well as capture a much longer echo on the other side just a thought.
😂😂😂 At night we open the water manhole covers on top of a Mountain and blow it in to. 🎉 😂 Dude, we wake up the hole town because there are coming strange loude noise thru drains and Toilets. 🎶🚽🎶🛁🎶🚿🎵

Actually the dog is terrified
Interesting acoustic signature. It's like the echo keeps reverberating back on itself.
The location where I was at was flat with surrounding birch hills in the early morning.
Listen to the sustain on that....
@dadigitechman it made me think of Nigel tuffnel, spinal tap, but I echo your reply.

I'll keep that in mind about the distant recording. The weather has to be calm and the right temperature for the sound to travel far
