    Hello ASL Heroes!!!
Hey, I could really use your help.
If you’ve enjoyed having access to an expert in ASL you can help me continue my work for you.
A small monthly donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for Lifeprint.com.
Right now you can help out a humble (not to mention kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher -- just go here and a few clicks later you too will be a true “ASL Hero!”

    Thanks!

3:42 so when you're talking about a water moccasin how would you sign that? would it be with the head up because that is how they swim or would it be like a normal snake?

For a water moccasin you should use an index finger that would be at a slightly upward angle to match (or "depict") what the snake looks like in real life.
Sometimes we depict the thing or animal but other times we simply depict the path taken by the animal (or thing / or person). If we were just depicting the path -- then the angle of the index finger would be of less concern.
Compare the depiction of the path of a home-run baseball. We use an index finger to depict the flight path (not a claw hand to depict the ball itself). We "can" show a ball as a fist or a claw hand interacting with the world (as in a fist hand showing a ball knocking someone on the head).
