- "Tucson is the second largest city in Arizona, with a population of 542,629 based on 2020 Census. Tucson was founded as a military fort by the Spanish when Hugo O'Conor authorized the construction of Presidio San Agustín del Tucsón in 1775. It was included in the state of Sonora after Mexico gained independence from the Spanish Empire in 1821. In 1853, the United States acquired a 29,670 square miles region of present-day southern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico from Mexico under the Gadsden Purchase. Tucson served as the capital of the Arizona Territory from 1867 to 1877. Tucson was Arizona's largest city by population during the territorial period and early statehood, until it was surpassed by Phoenix by 1920. " -- Wikipedia

Tucson has done a great job cleaning up and revitalizing downtown....
I am glad you enjoy the downtown.
lived in Tucson most of my life, seemed like nothing ever changed. I moved away 11 years ago, and all of downtown changes. LOL
Hi Wendy! Where did you go?
@@bigbrothertravel4ktour775 Austin, Texas (no jobs). Then PA (good job, took a while to find), Then transferred to NC (same job). I probably won't go back to Tucson unless I can transfer within the company (doubtful).
@@wendyhowell2485 Hopefully you'll find your way back to somewhere in AZ if not Tucson! Hang on there.
That's what typically happens! 😁😁😁
@@wendyhowell2485 I grew up in Phoenix, left in 2008, and the entire downtown area is improved dramatically.
I grew up in Phoenix. I barely know Tucson. Seems pleasant there.
That's right! It does look pleasant, and it is more quiet than phoenix.
Very nice video thanks for sharing
Thanks for the epic comment. ;)
I live in Tucson. Downtown isn’t that exciting. They’ve improved it in the last few years, but it’s still very average.
Hi! I am a few hours away from Tucson. I enjoy my time there. I think there is a lot more to Downtown. I think you have the benefit of affordability with close proximity to the west coast, rocky point in MX, and other gorgeous small towns.
Thanks for dropping by. I am glad you been to all 50 states. ;) I haven't done that yet.
Next time you are in Tucson...come visit. We are Tucson's Premier Location for Traditional Muay Thai.
That's amazing! Will do, John.
Trams are like European style !! As a Polish guy I like it :)
I was there 2 days ago at lunch time. Nobody on the streets. I left as quick as possible
Wow. Where did you go afterward?
👋🏽 Neighbor
Thanks for the 🚶🏽♂️
Thank you so much! I appreciate the kind words. What are your favorite places to see? I see that you are a flight attendant!
amazing footage !
Thank you Loretto! I appreciate it.
Take the keys out of your pocket, dude… lol.
I don't notice it though.
I see the Chicago music store closed up.Still plent y of bars, pubs, junkshops, lost souls walking around
You're right. It's probably covid related that made things more difficult for businesses and people.
Sometimes they keep historical signage up even if a new shop moves in. I think there are 2 Chicago Music Stores now in town, just not at original location. It has been said that they may move back in after renovation. One of the 2 stores is walking distance from original location.
Oh no, not Chicago Store… that place was awesome. I tell the drummers that are into vintage, about the upstairs. Three complete double bass Ludwig Vista Lite kits. Blue, green, and red unbelievable.
No vagrants or homeless? Looks like a nice clean city. We're moving there in September.
Lol. John, I appreciate the comment. There are actually homeless, but it is in every city. I am sure you'll love Tucson. There are fantastic places to hike. The food is great. It is close to San Diego and Rocky Point (in Mexico, 2 hours away). Enjoy your time when you move in September, John!! Exciting.
its starting to change, the Californians have discovered us and are coming over to ruin everything -_-

Why do American men wear caps backwards?
As bad as it looks during the day, it's a lot worse at night.
That's interesting. It seems very crowded during the day.
So it is not like on Family Guy 🤔
