    Two comments...
If you plug that jumper into two receptacles as is shown at the 3:00 point in the video and it's a split kitchen receptacle, you will definitely blow the breakers for those circuits.
I know a linesman who was very close to getting critically injured from someone back feeding their service. Please be aware of the risks of using these.
I would like to see more videos about installing mini split heat pumps, especially concealed duct indoor units.
Thanks for all the great and very informative videos.

There is a missing link to your option #2 setup that would make for a great video (and something that I haven’t seen on RUclips)! Using an outdoor outlet on the exterior of the house, wired to an indoor inlet inside the house, you could keep the Bluetti power station indoors, use an extension cord to plug it into the indoor inlet, and then use the 50amp to 15amp adaptor plug to connect the 50amp inlet to the outdoor 15amp outlet. This allows folks in very cold areas with indoor electrical panels to have a standby system that just requires them to flip the interlock breaker, and will allow them to run critical circuits off of the Bluetti while they get the portable generator hooked up. Certain power stations that utilize swappable batteries would be able to be hot-swapped from the comfort of indoors. Also, you would be able to have lights, furnace, sump pump, and garage door opener available to get your larger portable generator out of the garage and in action. The alternative to this setup would be opening a door or window to run the extension cord from indoors to outdoors, however this is not ideal in an extreme temperature or hurricane scenario, and can be dangerous if the window is left open once the portable generator is turned on (due to exhaust entering the house through the window). The above method should be code compliant, whereas an adaptor made for RV shore power being passed through the wall of a house would not be code compliant (no extension cords through walls). Please make this video!

More specifically, how to use the battery backups to power 240v water pumps, A/C's, etc, during a power outage. What battery requirements, how it must be wired at the circuit panel box, etc. Can a single breaker for 240v share connection from a eg Bluetti or EcoFlow battery, then if it runs out you start up the gas generator outside thats connect to same breakers, to continue more power? Thanks alot Dave for these great videos.

Good evening Dave, I enjoy the videos as always, I ran across your channel months ago and enjoy the content and would recommend diy’ers or anybody looking for great videos and hvac and electrical content, as for content I’d like to see, I noticed a lot of videos are about adding Freon, and installing and servicing units, an other great content. a lot of people need some guidance on thermostat wiring and what tells heat and cooling to work as far as controls, wiring colors, troubleshooting contractors and relays in commercial and industrial units would all be great ideas. The blueette units an awesome! Love your channel

Nice explanation 👍🏼👍🏼. I purchased my home 3 years ago and the prior owner showed me a cord that looked just like that hanging in the basement near the electrical panel. He mentioned that he had never used it but showed me an outlet along side of the boiler that it would plug into.

I love your videos. The camera and sound quality is great. I loved your video on flushing hot water tank. Maybe you should also do a video changing out the Anode rod in the tank!

Thanks for information. I would like to see a video about retrofitting a 4 inch furnace filter to replace a 1 inch filter.

As an older subscriber to your channel with limited electrical knowledge, I really appreciate videos like this one. You have give me the confidence to at the very least consider alternative power sources for heat in the case of emergencies such as winter storms. I used to have a 7500W gasoline generator-but that died and I bought a small Bluetti power station-would not mind seeing an episode about using an already installed (for gasoline generator) generator switch with 20W 4 prong plug (the switch has ABCDEF breakers-each with a 15amp fuse). Thanks again.

Your videos on safely keeping the heat on during blackouts are great and could be lifesavers in more ways than one. I’d love to also see maintenance tips for oil boiler heating systems.
