This is a good example of the Master Design Series organ, this era was an improvement over the ADC instruments, each decade Allen tweaks the sound and gets better, and more realistic. I have a Quantum instrument which came about in the mid-2000s after the Renaissance instruments. I have heard the newest Allen organ with the new Apex samples and the reeds on the GX series are incredible. Thanks for sharing this organ and the music, very enjoyable.
Love these hymns you played. I’m Episcopalian and there are all in my hymnal. I enjoy playing them and you made them even better with your improvisation.
Not bad, but still dosent sound like a pipe organ, sorry! The speech just isn’t correct, the attack and release found in pipes simply is not present, the sound just starts and ends unrealistically, the sustained sound is not too bad however.
@@wurlic300 OK, that’s fair enough, I have an Allen ADC5000 for my home instrument! Sometimes it sounds quite lifelike, but at others it really sucks! The great Hohlflute is really awful and there’s no way of doing anything to it by way of tonal regulation….. the church thew it out and got a 3M Rodgers Masterpiece with double audio, 22 independent channels, I have to say reluctantly that it’s superb!
@@adrianmlridgewayarcmlramll1965 Put that organ in a large sanctuary and it would sound like a totally different instrument. Put the best pipe organ in the same room next to the Allen, and it would sound horrible. These recordings never do any instrument justice regardless of make or model.
