- A short video of our used Allen DB -40 3-manual classic organ. This Renaissance-series organ has real moving drawknobs and is built in the signature Diane Bish style wood console. Amongst its stops are a Celeste, Harpsicord, and a sampled Zimbelstern. As is the case with most of our used Allen Organs, we replace the problematic power supply with a high-reliablity unit. The memory battery is replaced with a fresh new one and we also supply a customized database for future voicing needs or just for peace of mind (little known fact about Allen Organs - you cannot retreive the database from the organ itself). This organ is available with an optional Allen MIDI Ensemble drawer with a matching wood front face - call for more information and pricing.

I’ve enjoyed every video that features Mr. Hartranft. He is able to explain things well and has a great playing technique and imagination (experienced listener opinion).
I like the depth of the pedal notes on Allen organs...
Fabulous sounding organ,and brilliant playing.
I'm always a sucker for a nice zimbelstern
Beautiful.
Man that thing packs a huge punch 🙌🏽
It sure did! This was my instrument before I upgraded to a custom Viscount!
@@alexwilson8676 awesome instrument. I’ve just got an ADC420
wow!! this is so good! I love hearing him play on the channel! Who is our performer??

Who is our performer?
Rudy is presenting us with his new line as well.
So different from those old, earlier Allen organs.
Thanks! Neal, our chief service tech is playing. Rudy is a long-time friend and his two models he designed have a lot of nice features! Allen has a still does make good organs. The technique of sampling is a little 'dated' though (pretty much every organ company is still using sampling). It's not that we think sampling is a bad idea, it's just that we think there are now better ways if doing it. We at Graftons have moved on - we now are proud to represent Viscount. They are a very very large, fast-growing company that use a patented modeling technology. No playback of 'frozen' samples, no sample 'breaks', they actually are generating live the sounds of famous organs - stop by stop, note by note. Check out our Facebook and RUclips channels. Thanks again for you comments!
@@gpocoutube In all honesty, I am hearing great things about Viscount.
Charlie Warwick at St. Mark's, Sea Girt is looking in that direction. That church is painted into a corner with an oversized, unusable PERAGALLO.
Hopefully, something can happen there.
@@georgemurphy2579 Thanks George. I just heard a new Viscount using their Physis+. Great sound, and lots (I mean lots!) of voicing capability. New models with affordable costs to be appearing soon. Stay tuned!
