    I aint gonna lie. When I listen to Mike on the pulp show, he comes off a little like a know it all (which the dude is on point), but listening to his bike breakdowns, or parts reviews, or team / rider updates, the dude has the best lingo out there, always a great breakdown of what he is talking about and with great knowledge.. good stuff

    Honda is keeping as much stock as possible to help with sales. This gen bike is great, once you drop $2-3k in suspension upgrades just to make it competitive. Pro riders more like $10k. ECU, just rip it out and start over. Die hard Honda owner since 1985 aaand I now own 2 Husqvarnas. Maybe 2024 or 2025 Honda will get it right again?

    Did they bring multiple bikes to this shoot or is this mixed images from different bikes? In one shot it's clearly running the raw Motostuff front disc bracket and in another it has a black coated bracket. Small difference but as a parts geek I'd like to know which they're actually running?

    I see Ken runs his hydraulic clutch hose in front of the handlebars (traditional way) and not behind like the production bikes. I'm not a fan of the clutch hose running behind the handlebar, similar to the throttle cables (a la KTM). So if their factory riders don't like running the clutch hose behind the handlebar, why do they do it on their production bikes!

    • @vitalmx
      @vitalmx  2 года назад +2

      It’s the mechanics that prefer that routing but there is some unique modifications that have to be done to get it to not bind up that way. Honestly, the hydro was a last minute addition to the 2021 production model and the routing wasn’t well thought out.

    • @limpetcarre1139
      @limpetcarre1139 2 года назад

      @@vitalmx Thanks for your reply. I saw a guy on RUclips who had bought a 21 CRF450R and he had re-routed the clutch hose the traditional way and advised me that he just simply moved it to the front of the handlebars and had no issues doing that.

    • @vitalmx
      @vitalmx  2 года назад

      @@limpetcarre1139 It can be pinched easily between the fuel tank or radiators depending on the routing. The stock line also is a tick short for it and can bind up at extreme turning angles. The line the HRC team uses is a tick longer for this routing.
