- This is an imovie made of glacier calving clips taken from Childs Glacier in Cordova, Alaska. All the calving clips were taken on June 25, 2010. It was a VERY active day for the glacier! :-)

Too much chatter!!! No need for the annoying on-screen comments either. Why not just appreciate the grandeur of Mother Nature in respectful silence? Chatter, chatter, chatter ..............So sad...
You're danm right Frederick, this is the first (unfortunately, istead of enjoying nature's wonder) that came into my mind, why not let moving pictures speak for themselves? So annoying, underrating video itself.

Interesting! But, to me, the people who write the titles have a different definition of "calving" than I do. To me, calving means a sizeable chunk is "released", leaving an iceberg as a result. That is NOT what is being shown. These videos seem more like "disintegration" than calving. Its little parts breaking off, not icebergs. IMHO
Incredibly sad to see. Soon there will none left.
