I love the pumpkins with the spindle tops as well. They are my favorite. I do not know where you got those big chunks of wood for those. But I love them! Lots of great projects.
I actually agree 😁 I am doing them like that again this year for markets. (This is last years video ☺️) but I like the wash a lot more too. And I’m happy to see you liked the cats and pumpkins . We are actually changing that trio up again this year 🙃
I love how we have a best seller and somehow we make it even more amazing the next year by putting little spins and one more step. Love working with this creative brain of yours!!!! Awesome job on the video!!!
I have been waiting for the video and you did a great job on all these projects, it’s so hard to pick a favorite but I absolutely love the pumpkins! So happy to see you back I just love your videos! ❤
Hey this is a great video sharing how one can do some of these awesome decor with basic tools. I will try making some of these this year. If I may ask could you please share how much are you able to sell these for? Thank you and keep up the great work. Happy upcoming holiday season.
Thank you so much! It really depends on Market and if I am going to ship or sale locally. But the sets sold for $25 and chunky pumpkins 15-20 a pc ! The ghost were $12 a pc . Hope this helps and thanks for the comment!
Hi! Just found your channel…..albeit 10 months too late. Love everything you did and love the music too. I like last year’s ghosts, thought maybe you could tone down this year’s a bit. Additionally, my opinion on selling, you want everyone to be able to buy from you, so why don’t you offer the pumpkins at a per piece price and then a “set of three” (one of each) at a price that’s a dollar or two less than if they bought three pumpkins separately. It’s a win win for you and the buyer. Again, I’m 10 months too late, I hope you did good in the craft fair. Thank you for sharing and kudos to you for doing all this along with motherhood.❤
Hi! We ended up doing individual prices and then cut deals for 3 or more at the markets 😁 and I do agree I like my original ghosts the best out of the 2 looks. I have more Halloween DIYs coming soon 🫶🏽
I too just found you this morning and immediately subscribed to your channel 🎉. I love your content and creations! I’m in Tyler Texas and I think I heard you say that you’re in Texas too. What’s the closest city that to? 🌹
Just found your channel. Love it so far. Do you have any of the measurements or materials needed for the different Halloween items? I would love to make myself some. Of course i would love to buy from you but i lice in Missouri.
Thank you! I know the chunky pumpkins are 10” tall (the wood itself) and I think the trio is around 13” . I honestly can’t remember the ghosts 🤷🏽♀️ I’ll have to remember to look for ya 😁
Hi again lol So, hubby and I bought 3x4’s because 4x4’s are $11 a piece! I see in your description page you use shellac. Do you shellac first or last? I bought Thompson water sealer. I didn’t open it yet because I just read it should go on bare wood or concrete and not to apply paint! So I will be taking that back lol Thanks for all the info last time! - Kristin
I always put shellac on first if I’m using it but if I still see bleed - through after painting I will add a layer over the part where the tannins are coming through. I usually use a spray shellac! You can always use a primer if you have that on hand or just prefer that method. Hope this helps! I uploaded a new video if you’d like to check it out 🫶🏽
I love them all! I started crafting about a year ago. My husband has found a local weekly craft fair where you can sell your DIYs. Do you have to have a license to sell at craft fairs? He said Facebook market won’t let you sell unless you have one. I’m just looking to see what information you could share with me and if it is worth it. Thanks so much ! - Kristin
Hey Kristin ! This is awesome 🤩 I’m not sure about Facebook bc I’ve always just sold under my personal when using marketplace but I do think you have to put in some type of tax info. For the craft show it really depends on the type of show and who’s hosting it. I usually do have to fill out something claiming income made for taxes but that’s been the main thing. Good luck I hope it helps and hope you loved the diys! Please tag me on socials if you ever try one yourself 🫶🏽
@@HandcraftedFromHome thank you so much! I really appreciate it! I live in Myrtle Beach SC and they say on line I have to have a license to sell at this itty bitty craft fair. So crazy. It’s been a rough day of self doubt. But my husband said I love your DIYs. I would pay $1000 to get you that license. So we’re going to find out more info on Monday. I truly love crafting. Have a great weekend!
That’s something I struggle with too!! It’s so hard (especially in the beginning) to price items because you know all the hard work you’ve done (and we aren’t a big box store that can pump products like it’s nothing). It all starts with cost of your materials . When it comes to handmade I try to reach for 50-60% profit . Some things more some less depending on the area I am selling my products. But you have to also remember to try to factor in all the time you’ve spent (which is sometimes even harder to calculate). Try not to sell yourself short ! Your people will find you 🫶🏽
I give up 😂 I can't find the song with lyrics match, could you please tell me who sings it and what's its called? 🥺 I like your decorations very much also. 😂
I finally found it ! It was driving me crazy haha bc I knew I downloaded it. It’s called Golden Things by Kylie Dailey. I actually just searched RUclips and it’s on there . Hope that helps!
I try to stay at or under the $25 range at markets as much as possible for the majority of my items . It helps that a lot of this wood was scrap or free though. I’d look to at least doubling your investment - tripling if you can!
Awesome! What a good idea
Thank you 🥰

Scrap wood from my mother in law! I was in shock when she had these too- so hard to find and when you do not cheap!
