"Tiny Town" is Hardy's debut single on Hollywood Records, the label he signed with after winning American Idol in 2019. Since then he's been doggedly traveling between Nashville and Livingston, La. for writing appointments and media opportunities and found critical acclaim with tracks like "Ground I Grew Up On" and "Let There Be Country." Michael Knox (Jason Aldean) has guided him throughout, impressing upon the 20-year-old the importance of a "best song wins" motto. Michael Tyler actually wrote "Tiny Town," even though it sounds like something he'd put to paper himself. There was never any question of if he liked it.

I came from a tiny town and after being in a large city most my adult life, my hometown is not so tiny anymore and all my family has moved away. Now I'm moving to a different tiny town in a new state where I can watch my grandbabies grow up! Nothing better than a tiny town!!

This old lady....old enough to be your grandmother.....has been your fan since your first audition on American Idol. I'm so proud of what you represent and pray you are able to hold on to your "tiny town" and keep it deep inside even when you are far from home and surrounded by lights and fans. And please stay accoustic as much as you can. Your voice and your heart don't need electric anything or any of the bells and whistles and synthesizers too many of the current artists depend on. Oh Wow😍: I can RELATE TO THIS SONG AND THE THINGS THAT TOOK ME BACK TO THE YOUNG YEARS OF MY LIFE… 1993 was when I was aware of just how small the town was; I think that’s the best way to raise your children ( teach them to be nice to be humble; I have an Autistic child, 3 children who have ADHD and ODD -it’s been a hard long road but I have no chance of giving up on their lives. I ALWAYS HAVE SUPPORTED MY CHILDREN AND ALLOWED THEM TO BE THE PERSON THAT TRULY MAKES THEM FEEL EXCITED ABOUT WAKING UP EVERYDAY & they are living in a broken world with little ones, they’ve morphed into beautiful young women and men who are all have made made me so proud and they have always loved those babies . They love them enough to give them the Time and the Love to give them their opportunity to have happy healthy bonds with their family members (although they are young parents, they are far more mature than most of the parents who grew up with no technology. I have often said that Technology has ruined the world and the way we lived…so simple and so happy and blessed immensely just to have our beautiful family that now consists of 5 generations of Women on my grandma’s side of the family. That’s WHAT I HAVE DEDICATED MY LIFE TO; I am always just trying to figure out how to connect with my children and how to make them proud of their Mama. I have never had a lot of money, I have never done anything that Could ever COMPARE WITH being their Mama but I have never stopped trying. I know that I have been a teen mom since I was 16 years old & I wasn’t really didn’t understand what I was supposed to be for the them. Bc my Mama was just like me, she got married as a teenager and she didn’t have her Mama to teach her how to be enough for all of her children and she worked alot so I was the oldest one so I was the one who looked after my younger siblings. So, maybe that prepared me bc motherhood came very naturally to me and I am never going to ever accomplish anything else in my life that would be able to trump carrying my 7 children in my womb, feeling so blessed to have someone with me that I loved so much and that I knew would always have this unexplainable LOVE for me… & me for them. There’s NOTHING AS BEAUTIFUL AS THE LOVE OF A MOTHER FOR HER CHILDREN. God is so amazing; he knew that I would need them so much more than they would need me and I would learn so much more about myself and being a healthy happy Mama by watching my own children become Mama’s ; and that alone the love of my children for their children ( I remember reading the book ‘Someday ‘ to them as young children and then I blinked and looked at them again and they’re all married and/or they are ready to be & hopefully they will all have at least one child my oldest daughter is 27 and I really want to see my 1st Love; who gave me the opportunity to be able to to live my life with my children watching them as they reached each new mile stone.😍I was blessed with being able to assist God In the MIRACLE OF BRINGING 7 perfect lives into this world & bc HE was always going to give me the best gift of motherhood although he knew that I would have to go through a lot of hard lonely moments when they were alienated from me and I would have no way to reach out to them bc they were put into homeschool after our divorce; and I had no access to them unless their father said it was okay bc my visitation was (at the discretion of the father) we lived in a backwoods southern town that had no problem with taking children from their Mother @ 6,8, and 10 & we were all so very close bc I raised them for 10 years I was a homemaker and I was always just trying to keep myself and my children entertained and we were all over places & my sister had 2 children the same age as my younger 2 children who were born & we were just 21-22 & 18-19 so we both agreed to do everything together with our children and to be there for each other and we are still there for each other and we adore each other and each others children and grandchildren. I will never doubt God’s love for me and how he already knew that he that I wasn’t ever going to let them go.I couldn’t have chosen more perfect children and they are 27 ,25, 23, 21 (then 14,11 & 9 years old) 4girls & 3boys and my oldest son just got married 2 weeks ago… he was the last one except for my beautiful 27 year old daughter who may or may not be children or get married & either way She will have my never ending support and love. My 1st husband and I divorced in 2006 And we remarried other people in 2007. Our marriage was broken and it has been 15 years since our divorce and I am at peace with forgiveness and for being the best version of ourselves and supporting the children as they are making decisions that will affect their children’s lives for the rest of their lives. I have seen divorced parents who never have taken responsibility for anything that they were responsible for including alienating the children from their Mama’s side of the family. THUS, making them feel like they have to make their own children go through the same thing to keep their relationships with their Family members on his side of the family. I won’t get into the awful things that they were left out of, never told about, and so many things that they still have never been told 😔; I would love to be able to have a healthy ,healing conversation with our children about their lives and their relationships that ppl spent years making by spending time with them and loving them and nurturing their relationships with each other, it would take a real cold hearted, and selfish person to be able to hurt their own very young children who barely have any memories of their younger childhood.. but we have a lot of family and friends who have never forgotten how much it changed our lives and broke our hearts to lose so many important things that we need to pass on to our children and their children who are our 5th generation of family and my children love their children and extended family & hope to end the years of fighting and making everyone uncomfortable with making their parents ( our children) choose to do the same thing and alienate those grandchildren whom we love with all of our hearts and that’s why I sat down and prayed and I decided to ask anyone out there who believes in prayer God miracles to please pray for my family and especially for the Young mothers and fathers of our beautiful grandchildren to have the heart that Jesus has given all of them & choose to give their children the lives that they should have been able to have. I wish I had friends in high places but I don’t ; I do however have a great relationship with the only person in high places that matters. I’m holding on to the promises of God, and I know that where 2 or more are gathered in their name, he will be there also and I don’t have any doubt that he will turn this ages old arguing into a peaceful and loving environment for our 5th generation of children in our family to grow up in. That’s all that I can ask for from the people who still believe that GOD IS IN CONTROL. I’m counting on it. Amen. 12/16/2021 - I miss the way that things were before everything changed so much. I miss raising my older kids in a tiny town and they call that the “Good ole days”….. I can see why .

I am always feel comfortable living in my tiny town than anywhere else. John Melloncamp was Born and raised in a tiny town not too far from here. He is back. He built a mansion there too. He couldn’t cut his roots either. He even wrote a song about it too. Tiny towns are definitely the best. Love this song! Hope to hear a lot more from you. You are a star. That is for sure. 🤩
