I'm German, used to play in a Rammstein cover band and absolutely love 2000s Metalcore and the 2010s Djent movement and where all those bands are going and how they have progressed in the last few years.
This is an amalgamation of all of that and I love it.

I love how you turned Rammstein's minimalism into something technical.
If anyone is interested in the lyrics, Du hast is a play on words, since "Du hast" (You have) sounds like "Du hasst" (You hate).
"Du hast mich" sounds like "you hate me" if you don't know the title written with one "s." Then they add Du hast mich "gefragt" (You have asked me).
Then in the chorus they sing about not wanting to marry someone which is why the whole verse goes "Du hast mich gefragt und ich hab nichts gesagt" (You have asked me but I did not say anything).
Till loves his dual meaning lyrics.

Chorus is basically
"Will you be with her until the death splits you apart
Will you be loyal to her for all the days?"
And then the choir in the background sings "yes".
But the lyrical subject says "no".
At the end the chorus are slightly changed, because instead of it being
"Will you be loyal to her for all the days?"
it's
"Will you love her even at her worst?"
So that's that.
As someone who's learning German this is interesting. I never knew they played on words for this song

Zeit might be my album of the year. I am biased though as I have been listening to them for 21 years now and they just continue to impress me. I will always have a spot in my heart for their music. This album and their last one (self titled) are fucking solid and not a single bad song or spot.
