Day 163, I first thought it was a misprint, but holes moley that’s what you guys are doing. I’ve done seven day hikes, so much respect to you both for this trip. Four km in two hours is a tough route. Beats what I’ll ever do so happy trails and good luck to finish.
You're right girls - if you can do Raetea - the Longwood Forest is a cinch. The ground ferns and moss are so much a feature of that section. Rain and mud. It's a place of miserable laughter isn't it. It is your forest - GNARLY! 2929!!!! ... such a little thing yet such a HUGE milestone! So often the little can so often be uplifting for the spirit and the motivation. You reached THE PALACE 🥴👌
