I was born and raised in Qatar and started to travel and explore other parts of the world recently.
His reaction to his room's toilet makes me want to highlight the fact that UAE and Qatar's hotels experience raise your expectations so much when you go out to explore other places.
I had been to Georgia recently and their Idea of a 5 star property felt like 3 Star in Qatar.
Point being, hotels/staycation, experience in the Gulf will spoil you.
That is a good point, that 5 star experiences are redefined here!

Qatar and UAE are just as developed and some part even more developed than most European countries nowadays. You would be surprised how much they have changed in just 20 years.

new to seeing these videos ,i like them, also in the hotel i see the camera has flashing exposure with the artificial lighting , i assume thats because the lights are running on the 240v 50hz not 60hz so changing the camera to 50fps in these countries may stop that :) ( i might be wrong ) ... im an idiot , the videos at 50fps anyway

it is very luxurious the only disadvantage is that you have to be rich to benefit of these luxurious places that is why you meet very few people mostly employees .. i prefer places mountains beaches natural beauty of nature and not artificial .. there you meet lovely simple people

@@greenleaf8226 chicken, lamb, or shrimp Majboos, margoog, rugag bread with cheese, espciallity egg and tomatoes with Qatari spice, qemat, etc there are much more. I remember when I was there I could eat more and more. btw every food dish around the world is influenced "borrowed" from one country or another.
@@jfakhroo0 yes alot of traditional dishes anywhere are influenced by neighbouring countries, but usualy each country has its own specific way of doing/cooking a dish to make it individual... i suppose this took decades to achieve, and qatar being a very new country they still need time to create their individual take on regional local dishes...
for example Bahrain is well known for their particular style of machbous, or Oman have a particular pastie that is purely historicaly Omani....the Lebanese are the only ones who make hommus their particular way, or the Turks spice their shawarma meat in a specific way, then the Greeks who created baklava make it specificaly according to their ancient recipee, Italians proudly do proper pizza not the commercial junk copies done by Americans👎🏻, the French are famous for a borrowed bread called croissant that comes and was created in Austria but their version is flakier, the English fish n chips is actualy foreign food from immigrants that has been remodled and pampered to a Brit presentation...
Qatari food is tasty but still is purely burrowed and has not officialy found its individual identity...there are i'm sure plenty Qatari houswives who have created special personal takes on dishes, but none have gone commercialised their dishes and made it a nationwide local dish.

what a way to ruin a workout lol. you would be having a hard time finding a Qatari restaurant as its a multi-culture city you can find food from all over the globe except our cuisines unless you don't mind siting on the floor while eating. thank you for sharing.
