On the hotel it is incredibly expensive, sometimes with these hotels you think if you pay the nightly cost the expenditure stops there but clearly not. The breakfast spread was impressive though 🤤

900 USD per night isn't bad at all for such a fancy hotel. I've stayed in a 3 star business hotel in Europe that cost the company 300eur per person and it had no food or complementary drinks.
Tim, I am so happy for you that you were sponsored for this trip. You deserve it and please try to get more sponsors and we will try to support you that way because I love your videos.
I had been dying to see the inside of this hotel! As a hospitality geek, and watching hundreds of hotel reviews… I understand what you mean by overwhelming. The magnitude of this hotel is incredible!! It also seems like every detail was well thought out. Thanks for showing us Tim!
I've found minibars with sensors to be quite a pain. On several occasions, I've encountered items like beer that were months past their expiration date, even in high-end hotels. While one can certainly complain about it, the fact that these issues occur given the premium prices charged is a significant downside for me. It's a big enough issue that it influences my ratings and reviews of hotels. It's disappointing to see this lack of attention to detail, especially in places where you expect top-notch service and quality.
i actually hate the sole idea of pay-to-eat/drink products being forced into hotel rooms, everything inside should be free of additional charge, if they want to sell drinks and snacks without shops, they could just install vending machines... or pehaps those would look "cheap" when compared to products offered inside the rooms ;)

Hi Tim, The room was really nice, loved the large wardrobe would love one like that. The food looked so delicious, so much choice. Considering how expensive it is, was surprised about the paint coming off in the pool. There was a lot of steps everywhere, didn't look very disabled friendly. Where else you should go: Al Maha Desert Resort Waldorf Ras Al Khaimah Ritz Grand Canal Abu Dhabi (one of the cheapest Ritz to stay at, in the world) Anantara World Islands Le Meridien Fujairah (lots of people who live in the UAE have at least stayed there once)
Great video as always!! - Just straight forward information ( a lot of which is taking what you show us in every nook and cranny ) and then overlaying that with you practical "everyday Joe" kind of commentary - Is this worth it? Is it cool ? is this practical? Obviously a lot of what you show are luxury places to stay and what a lot of people like me want to know is that is there "value" in a particular place that costs $900 a night? sometimes yes and sometimes no! The biggest thing is that you take your camera everywhere to places that most wealthy people would never do or normal people would be embarrassed to lol. Even if you can't typically afford any of these hotels, these reviews allow you the time to decide if it's a "must go to stay" and then SAVE for it. Obvioulsy everyone's value system is different based on preferences and wallet.

Another great vlog Tim. It’s a beautiful hotel and oozes luxury. It’s purely in my mind for people who have money. The mini bar prices are in line with the level of customer they want to attract. Id rather go to Mexico where there’s lots to do at a fraction of the price.
@@tmafungo84 Difference between wealth and taste. Your comment makes no allusion to your wealth, but screams to everyone reading it that you have no class. If you want to see what a great hotel looks like on this budget then I suggest you view a stay at The Savoy London.
Chill 😂🆒😂🆒 taste and preferences are different. Keep quiet
True... 😅
It looks absolutely amazing but I cannot stop thinking about the amount of waste they must be producing. They have to dump the leftovers after breakfast, they complimentary amenities etc. everything comes in boxes and extra packaging. Seems like a lot.
But you can’t have a plastic straw in the uk! It’s madness
Completely. The food waste of perfectly edible foods must be unbelievable.
They will feed the staff and reuse a lot of it
If you're paying those prices, you expect to have the most opulent amenities.
The staff canteen will have all the leftovers. None of that will go to waste. It won’t see any shelters (if there even are any in Dubai ?!!)
I ditto the shower people rating! Dont lose it!! Do a people in the shower poll to see most of us like it! I love using it to compare my own shower!
GREAT REVIEW! 10/10 for honesty and maintaining expectations and also for subtly calling them out on some of their BS standards
me watching this while working on my business so i can stay motivated
I’ve gotta say, as far as quality is concerned this is probably the best I’ve seen on your channel.
Prices in Dubai are just obnoxious.
the prices reply "how dare you sir"
Don't forget, part of your room rate goes to pay Beyonce's bill.
..... "Obscene" is an adjective that springs to mind.
@@Paul_SD Compared with prices in central London, this is almost reasonable.
Dubai is obnoxious!
Never ever saw a BREAKFAST BUFFET like that!
Is there any place more impressive? Pls tell me. I will search YT for vid! Ty.
wow, that breakfast looks amazing. Everything you could possibly want!
Thanks for the tour Tim.
Love how you do the best and the worst of hotels, something for all budgets. But this hotel really doesn’t impress me in any way form or shape. Reminds me of Waldorf Astoria, just more expensive.
Tim, check out place like…. Raffles hotel Singapore, The Siam Bangkok, Soneva Kiri Thailand, Aman Tokyo, Song Saa private island Cambodia, Taj lake palace India, the Danieli Venice, the Dorchester London, the lanesborough London, hotel George V Paris, hotel Airelles Le Grand Contrôle Versailles (VIP palace access), the blue train South Africa, Azura Benguerra Island Mozambique, four season yachts, ponant cruise, north island or north island Seychelles.
OMG ..... I replayed again to make sure my eyes were right ....
Kinder Joy at mini bar ????
Best hotel all time ....
I truly loved this video❤👍 Thank you for taking me/us along.
This is going to be fascinating to see the difference with the Atlantis. I don’t know anything about this hotel so will be fantastic. Can’t wait!
It's a beautiful hotel , not seen one like it before
Hi Tim,
The room was really nice, loved the large wardrobe would love one like that.
The food looked so delicious, so much choice. Considering how expensive it is, was surprised about the paint coming off in the pool. There was a lot of steps everywhere, didn't look very disabled friendly. The price of the room was ok, it was all the little extra's on top. Thanks Tim.
I'll say I thought the pool at top for sunbed was crazy
Look amazing Tim.
My wife and I visited Dubai a few years back in July. The heat was unreal; nearly 50 degrees. They have to run the swimming pool water through massive chillers to stop them evaporating.
Yes I've been in Sep in 47oc and I thought I was melting
Brilliant video as always Tim. Would be great to see some budget options in Dubai for contrast. I remember your Premier Inn video which was excellent!
I think that's the closest yet to a 10/10 hotel. Brilliant video too. Just a wow factor throughout far too many highlights to mention but the food just topped everything!
Stayed here for a week just recently and was pleasantly impressed
May i ask the total cost?
@@hurtlocker9600 7000$
Lies.
Heston whooo??? 🤣 Loving the video though Tim! 👏🏼👏🏼
How has this not exploded in popularity?
Hi, would you mind sharing the equipment you use for your videos? Cameras, microphones, etc?
Thankyou @ Gaby my confidence is being restored .....by watching your videos to travel again, seeing your joy @ showing each segment is doing wonders as im sure for others as well who have not travelled in a while...its exciting. Many thanks
Superb video, thank you. The breakfast looked absolutely amazing.
I just discovered your channel today. I absolutely love the videos. I get to visit these amazing hotels and enjoy them vicariously through you. I’ve been binge watching your content for 2 hours. It’s been fun. I subscribed and look forward to seeing more. ❤😊
Welcome aboard!
Amazing place for sure, but some of those prices though... and the fact you even have to pay extra after the hefty cost for the room. £700 for a sunbed is actual insanity
Same as Tim's room rate. 🤣
Discovered this channel last week and can’t stop watching. You are great at this and I can live this luxury through your camera. All the best to you and your family
Welcome aboard!
Where else you should go:
Al Maha Desert Resort
Waldorf Ras Al Khaimah
Ritz Grand Canal Abu Dhabi (one of the cheapest Ritz to stay at, in the world)
Anantara World Islands
Le Meridien Fujairah (lots of people who live in the UAE have at least stayed there once)
Glad you said he was cleaning the floor, the first glimpse i thought he was having a wee against the wall 😂
I thought exactly the same!
As if anyone in Dubai especially workers or slaves would dare to wee on the floor
They’d probably be executed
I did too!
That explains the water cascading down the wall
😂
Wow, what an amazing place to visit...loved the pools & the wine glass chandelier 😊 thanks for showcasing this hotel 👍👌
Illegitimi non carborundum 😤😀👍👌
New follower here! Loved this video. I'm an Interior Designer, worked for a little while on this project.. with the designer that did the sky pool area(from NY).:) he already passed but definitely thought me a lot. Thanks for showing all details. Ohhh the security! Yes..They have a lot of sheiks staying at a hotel and some $$$ people. Wish I could travel there!
WOW, what an amazing video, you have this ability to describe things that I feel I am there as well. Please Tim don’t stop telling us how many people you can fit in the shower, it’s one of the highlights of your videos. No one has complaint, we are just teasing you. Once again thank you for the amazing content 🤗
Tim, so enjoying yr channel. Getting to "stay" virtually in so many places makes me feel like an "armchair jetsetter"! I get to see how the top 1% lives. Thank you for that. And blessings on this Easter Sunday!
Glad you enjoy it! Thank you for the support
Another great vlog Tim. It’s a beautiful hotel and oozes luxury. It’s purely in my mind for people who have money. The mini bar prices are in line with the level of customer they want to attract. I think the way you measure a shower is really clever and makes it very clear to anyone watching what size the shower would be if they ever stayed there. The view from the balcony is amazing. Finding your way around everything must be a challenge. Wow breakfast was incredible, I really would find it too challenging to choose. The whole experience is certainly a different world. As always you sum your visit up so well. Thank You Tim for the insight
Been with you since the beginning, love how far you’ve come. Loving the vids as always 😎
Hi Tim just a little note that I’ve been through difficult time recently and you brighten my day, thank you for content 😀
I love when you tell us how many people fit it the shower. It's a great way to get perspective. Don't let the trolls dictate what you content is. You keep coming you. That's what brings us back! Love to you and your family. 💜
Thanks for taking us along with you Tim.
My pleasure!!
Thank you for such wholesome and informative content, Tim. Your channel is very enjoyable.
That breakfast selection was unbelievable
14:15 You just don't know how to use a bidet lol 😂😂 Love your videos though, you remind me much of old English natural presenters.
Thank you for letting me see something I will never get too!!! 😍
Thank you Tim, great insights! Never let others dictate what you want to say in your videos! That's what makes them yours (& so down to earth & funny). Ignore the negativity! Your videos are brilliant just how they are 😂
“I’m not gonna say what they look like” don’t worry we were all thinking it😂😂
Tim try the Sky Aura Pool, amazing experience
Thank you for sharing. I'm not a fan of Dubai but I'm obsessed with this hotel, I think it's generally really well executed as far as luxury hotels go
the food you had along side the pool, is already the amount of my 2 weeks dinner😊
Look forward to all your videos Tim. This one was absolutely amazing, what a place. Thanks for all you do, bet Gabby would love that hotel.
More chrome, more glass, more gold plated plastic combs, more pools, more sun-loungers, more marble, more concrete, bigger breakfasts. Give me a simple Ryokan in Japan any day
I absolutely LOVE seeing you staying at/reviewing places like this - you’ve come a long way from wandering the creepy floors of the various Britannia hotels across the U.K…!
