Oooops … I didn’t actually mean to make this video “live” it was just supposed to be for trimmer who’ve bought our glue … aw well though - it’s done now 😂😂😂
It’s all good!😊 I didn’t even have the opportunity to grow up/see/touch anything at/on/in a farm but, just watching your channel I’ve learned a lot. I just want to say Thank You so much for educating me❗️😊👏🙏❤️
It's all good! Seriously, though. I don't imagine this Hoof Grip Pro use would be limited to *just* hoof blocks! With a great weatherproof, durable, strong glue, there has to be all sorts of uses for it. What else have you tried it with?
As a crafter and homeowner, I can think of lots of potentials if I was able to get some here on the west coast of the US. Not an entire case at once, though. 😂
@TheHoofGP How long does it take for the glue to set? I couldn't find it on the bottle.
You don't need to torch the block to remove any oils from the factory?
*not a trimmer just a guy who has seen many hoof trims.
And I thought that The Hoof GP just started an on-line school. Just sayin'.
No apologies, only thanks.
I GLAD I watched this! I mean, I don’t have anything to do with cows but, I’m glad I watched it 😁
lol! Same!
Well, I drive past cows… Herds of them… When I drive into town.😂
But, like you, and as it is with every GP video, I’m really glad I watched it!😂🎉😂😅
I watched this to ensure I knew what I was doing even though I never have and probably never will put blocks on a cows hoof. But glad to know that I already knew the proper steps to take in case there's an emergency and they need random suburbanites to step up and trim cows hoofs! 😂😂😂
To be honest, if you're glueing something to the bottom of a load bearing support like a table or chair leg, then what Graham said still applies. It needs to be level but not smooth, clean and free of dust, loose bits and grease/oil, and the glue needs applying properly (as per the instructions). So this may yet come in handy!
That sounds like a scene from a zombie apocalypse movie. LOL.
I guarantee that I would not apply a block correctly. Primarily because I have never trimmed a cow's foot in my entire life. But I enjoy your channel, and this is really good information for the hoof trimmers watching. And now, of course, they have access to the best glue on the market. Which I think was a genius business move on your part. I wish you all the success in the world with your new product line. You deserve it.
Same here
Well here's a thing . I was watching bondi vet and they had a huge tortoise who had worn the bottom of his shell . It was huge!!! Had to lift it on pulleys with a tractor or the like . They had so much bother trying to glue a protective plate to it's underside trying to dry it with hairdryers and my thought was instantly .....hoof gp glue !!!! ....might be an opportunity there you never imagined !!
I saw that Bondi Vet videoa while ago so it didn't click like it did for you. 😊
Pretty sure HGP has trimmed some water buffalo before, so the more exotic bovine creatures mightn't be that far off his train of thought, but applications for other creatures is a great idea!
Not a hoof trimmer, extremely unlikely to ever even touch a cow, but hearing you teach how to to glue a block helps understand what we see you do in the videos!
I'm not a hoof trimmer nor do I have anything to do with cows, but now I feel FULLY trained to attach a block using Hoof Grip Pro - Let's GO!!! 👍🤠🐮
Glad you posted this…most informative, thank you. We’re all becoming very keen amateur “Hoofers!” 😁🙋♀️🐄💕
The closest I've seen a cow in the last 10 years is on my computer screen. Yet, I still watched this video.
I have nothing to do with any farm animal but found this fascinating (as is your page) I love how you explain in great detail. I see this being very helpful for anyone who uses your glue.
Dude your videos are amazing and I never knew there was so much involved looking after hooves. And how you care for the animals is awesome. 😊
I watch your videos quite often even though i dont own cows, i own horses. My neighbor has a few cows, and one day, one of them was limping quite a bit. I told him about it, and convinced him to call a professional. Turns out, the cow had an awful infection in her hoof. Thankfully, shes feeling amazing now and her hoof is nearly healed. Shes one of the sweetest cows you’ll ever meet lol
In early bc your vids help me so much with depression tysm there calming and satisfying
I’m always happy to watch one of your videos no matter what it is. Love your channel so much! ❤❤
You care about your "customers" so much that sharing your experience and secrets to ensure a cow's healing is enlightening and wonderful. Definitely worth watching each video, because I've seen ever so slight differences between what looks the same and what you show as off. 😊
Keep up the great work 👍 👏 💪
I really loved how you explained how to apply the block so well with step by step instructions.
I'm not a hoof trimmer, why am I watching a video about hoof glue? Twice.
Same here. 😅
Maybe because, like me, you're imagining all the cool other uses you might come up with for a strong, durable, weatherproof glue that is a cool looking neon green?
Because you want to be a hoof trimmer like I do!
I’m happy to announce that I have never applied a block incorrectly…because I have never applied one😉. I did know all of the steps just from watching these videos though.
Sitting here in my Hoof GP™ Polo watching this instructional video, thinking I've never picked up a cow's hoof and I don't ever intend to. But I love the content nevertheless. Thanks Graeme!
I watch your videos and enjoy every single one! Even this one! There is, it turns out, a pure joy to be found watching you and the other lads making cows feet comfy. Who'da thought it! I am completely surprised and happy to have had your channel drop into my feed.
Thank you very much for the clarification. Many of us watch your videos and putting a block has become a routine, because many people are more interested in seeing if a cow has any injuries and its hoof has damages, more than for the placement of the block and why.
@The Hoof Doctor thought you’d appreciate that @Enoch the Cow Vet from Australia 🇦🇺 gave you a HUGE Shout out.
Interesting to watch him working at 🇦🇺 cattle farms and also training Vet Students.
Omg I was watching a video the other day where the guy was talking over clips from different people's videos and he showed a clip of the Hoof GP and he said u was a robot working on the cows feet. It was hilarious. Ur so good they think ur not human
It's good to watch it. This would help even with gluing anything!
Have never been this early! Love your videos and the care you guys show for the animals❤
I liked the wee bit of insight. You never know when you can acquire or share knowledge!
Hi
You are great! I watch you film more often. Other companies also just have so good. Just how you want to do great filming action. Thank you ! 👏
Loved learning about applying a block. ❤
I have been watching hoof g p since COVID, so interesting, hope you make lots of money on your GLUE, LUV FROM granny in 🇨🇦
You are my favorite RUclipsr
I love the lessons you provide. I will never trim a hoof, but I love watching you and all the Hoof GP men do it.
Graeme, I could have really used your tutoring when I was learning to glue things at any point in my life. 😁 I still use too much and squish it all out with pressure. 😂
Good video, especially if you haven't put a block on before!
Do it just like Graeme says and does. Except the singeing part, don't do that.
Have you (or anybody else) ever thought of developing a shoe for cows? Something that would tie onto the cow, provide the block, and also keep the injured part clean and dry. Sounds like a winner to me
This was simple enough and good information 😊
Always glad to see HGP in my feed!!
does the material that the block is made of make any difference to how well / long it stays on??
Good video, very informative.... thanks brother!!! 👍🏼
You are the best hoofer
Saludos a toda tu familia y colaboradores.
Good info!!
Thank you!!
Gotta say thos was good to watch, never going to need to know how to use the hoof grip pro, but never know when i might need to recommend it 😊😊😊
Very informative 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you❤❤❤
I love your videos, can I get a comment heart?
I enjoyed your video educational I understand better.😊
Thanks for the video❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes Ii have never done any of this before.
I've never touched a Cow and I can't stop Watching ! 💪🏆🤪
Interesting to see all the steps. I’ve also noticed that your group is consistently putting the glue on the block and then onto the hoof, rather than glue on the hoof and then the block. Glue amounts?
Great video! I’ve noticed that quite often I don’t often see you and your crew scoring the hoof on camera in the videos. That was something that happened off camera?
You should teach a course at an Aggie college I learn a lot from your videos besides I find them calming.
Don't know why I'm watching this, I live in a flat in East Kilbride .... nae coos near me. Got hoose rabbit.
When you’re applying the glue, do you swirl the tip in the glue to kind of help mix it a little more?
Alrighty! Move over, Graeme, Graham, Mayhem, ... Stevie can assist me now. 😅 🎉
Very educational good on you gram, apologies if i've spell your name incorrectly
No worries: Graeme!
Beautiful video. How long does a typical(?) block stay on?
Are there any other uses for the glue except block- hoof use?
Looks like someone has been moaning about the green glue not sticking blocks on very well
I wanna buy a tube just to have as a collectible.
So how long do you let the glue set up before you let the foot go down?
What other applications does this glue might have?
Quick question Graham can you glue be used for anything
👍HGP ! 😎🇺🇸
It's like making a sandwich; you don't want to squish the bread together & squeeze out the filling. 😊
If I’m ever disbarred, I’ll have a career on the farm.
Hi do you think this glue would work for putting pads under a shoe on horses?😊
You’re a Brickie an’awe 😂🏴
How are sales to the U.S. East coast? Is there a distributor over here?
I am curious, could this glue be used instead of nails for horses and horse shoes?
Graeme did you ever get a winner of your glue give away.??
how do i get my hair to curly up like that tho? asking for a friend
How you get them off tho?
Hey.
Out of curiousity, why are the nozzles so long? Doesn't that increase the glue waste, seeing moreremains stuck in them?
I don't have hooves, what else can this stuff stick together?
I'm probably never going to get close enough to a cow to use this information, but maybe someone else reading this will ... there is another Hoof Guy on RUclips who spreads the glue on the SIDE of the cow's hoof before placing the block on the underside of the hoof. I've noticed you don't ever do this (even before you had the Hoof Grip Pro glue). Could you explain the reason and benefits of doing it your way instead?
What kind of glue is hoof grip pro? Is it some kind of non ecotoxic epoxy like araldite(which isn't very nice, araldite is kinda toxic)? Or is it some kind of 2 part cyanoacrylate like superglue?
Pochodzę z Polski. I mam do Ciebie jego pytanie. Skąd wiesz do jakiego momentu ciąć
🙂
As soon as I buy a farm and a cow.😂
I for real thought HGP was Hoof General Practitioner, lol
Hey Hoof GP, I have an idea that we should partner in…… develop a subscription service in which “we” design a hoof toy or something that goes out to monthly paid subscribers or one off’s that is a carve-able, version that once a month, live on RUclips, you carve hoof with your followers to find the ulcer, white line defect etc. subscribers can get the hoof once a month with a new issue and see how figures it out, even get a block to put on the good hoof…….. families have order a few if they have children
"you could be putting blocks on incorrectly"
I am unlikely to ever put a block on incorrectly.. Ever.
REALLY
Vertical stinks but ty for sharing 😕💙
when the skin on my foot peels the block falls off ..
Watching your video brings me back to the video I watched earlier about why the tiles keep falling off of the SpaceX Starship. Now I know, they should be using Hoof Grip Pro. 😂. Maybe you need to send a few free samples to Elon Musk. If it can keep a sliver of wood onto a cow’s hoof, a piece of ceramic onto a metal rocket sounds like child’s play.
I loved watching you in your heaven ❤️ ♥️ 💕
It's glue why does it have an expiration date it shouldn't go bad at all
All chemicals have a shelf life
I don't want to assume this is true for his product but it could be biodegradable glue, and therefor bio friendlier.
Imo it's also not a terrible thing if the shelf life is 6 orso months, if you buy this kind of product I think it's save to assume you'll be using it a lot anyways.
Caulk goes bad, even Elmer's glue goes bad. Silicone too. So, I would expect this to also have a shelf life.
If ya ran out of blocks, could you just use a huge amount of glue? 😂.
Dude, I'm still freaked out that your Dad tried to shoot you on a golf course! 🤷🏼♂️🙏
Shame it doesn't stay longer than 1 week
I have to disagree. Your glue will stick to muck but if it does that, it’s not sticking to the hoof
why the "members only content " ? I used to enjoy your channel.
Wonder if this would work with glue on horseshoes.
