The biggest plot twist of Ralph breaks the Internet is that there was no plot twist villain.
CrazyHufflepuff I hope they continue this in Frozen 2, since Moana didn't have a twist villain as well.
Jesus Chavira Technically Te Fiti was a twist, just a twist hero instead
@@jesuusch Moana kind of did the same thing as the original Wreck-It Ralph, namely that the villain had a different identity
Ralph’s insecurity and clinging nature made him his own villain
...Except for Ralph
I liked it a lot but there was a HUGE missed opportunity that I CANNOT FORGIVE.
When Felix says he'll "cover" for Ralph, there should have been a scene where he enlists the Sugar Rush racers to be the wreckers in his place!!! The players would be baffled, but find it fun and the game would become hilariously popular in Ralph's absence. When the SR racers destroy the apartment, I THOUGHT IT WAS FORESHADOWING. I'm so disappointed. Instead they just....ignore it..and I guess Felix wrecks AND fixes the building..???
Yes good idea
My idea was that Qbert & gang would cover for him
I like to think that actually happened behind the scenes.
OH. MY GOSH. You should go be a writer for Disney! GOGOGO
I think Ralph is only supposed to be in the online world for about 10 hours while the arcade is a closed.
This issue is that there is no way they could make all those viral videos to raise that much money in 8 hours.
I know what people are going to say. That the algorithm was rigging the system for Ralph. But if the Algorithm could have cheated to system to help them, why not just give them the money they needed for the steering wheel from the start.
Does anybody think it’s weird that Ralph kills sugar rush and no one seems to care?
Yessss!
Yes and his game probably is “broken” too because he left it!!!
Yes, but Venelope the Ruler of Sugar Rush was the one who was fighting with the player of the game to continue down Ralph's "creation" which causes the player to break the game. So it really is more of Venelope's fault than Ralph's, and not many would have the nerve to hate on her because she is the overall ruler of that game... Except for Tafeda! Lol please ignore my bad spelling!😌
The
@@hersheycoveredzoey2807 Well they needed to get the sugar rush wheel in only 24 hours so i think nothing *BAD* happened.

How I personally decide if a movie is a good movie is simple... Do I want to see it again?
This question doesn't apply to movies that rip my heart out, but it seems to work, for me at least.
jaspr1999 fair enough, I did want to see this film again so 🤷🏻♂️ I guess that works
@@SeamusGorman4 I thought it was just fine because I didn't like the refrence's and I didn't like vanollepia if I spelt that right and everyone else was just okay and I thought they were better in the 1st but I'll admit I liked that there were NO TWIST VILLIANS why do you keep on doing twist villians Disney and i didn't like the RUclips videos by Ralph especially the one were he does the floss in fortnite.Done.
I will never watch that movie ever again
What bothered me most was that VENELOPE WENT TURBO
same
Yea
I would have been perfectly fine with the ending had "going turbo" not been such a big thing in the first movie
*Vanellope
@Piggy pigs Productions one difference between Turbo and Venelope is that he was the main protagonist in his game and she was part of an ensemble cast, with different racers every day. So Venellope missing from her game wouldn't be a big deal because if someone complained she wasn't in the line up the arcade owner would just say "maybe she'll be back tomorrow." However, after a to many months of that the arcade keeper still might get a little worried about his game and take it in to a specialist, unplugging the game in the process. Venellope did mention she'd come back during updates so she could do a race or two while she's visiting Ralph to keep up appearances, so I suppose she's got the arcade covered.
The game I'm worried about is Slaughter Race. It's an online game so it's not in danger of being unplugged, but what happens when the original coders notice a candy- theme character that doesn't fit with the style of the game? Wouldn't they think their game had been hacked and take it down until they find her code and delete it?
first movie: everyone is shocked Ralph went "Turbo"
Second movie: Venellope goes "Turbo" and everyone is happy for her?
To clarify, To go "Turbo" means to leave your own game and go to another seeking more value out of it and a new expirence while also having more fun. Ralph went "Turbo" by wanting a metal so he would get more rewards and be treated better but also put his own game at risk. Venellope went "Turbo" by leaving her game in hopes to fix it but ultimately decides to leave it for another game that she finds fun and interesting. I guess if you are basing off of the risk of going turbo then yeah ralph is more sever but venellope is still important.

I didn’t really like this movie that much. Vanellope basically went turbo, and there was no villain. At first I thought yess was going to be the villain but I guess not. And imagine you couldn’t pick Mario in Mario kart anymore, and he was a skin in fortnite. That’s basically what the movie was.
Sasha N
Reminded me of the emoji movie
I mean of course, a lot different, and i like this way better, but it just reminded me of it
My biggest problem is that it feels like older people trying to be hip and cool with the youngsters which could lead to the movie being unfortunately dated in a few years
It would’ve been way more entertaining if Yess was the villain and slowly shoved Ralph into making content he doesn’t enjoy creating and isn’t proud of but he has to follow what the Algorithm tells him too or he won’t make enough money. Basically what happens to RUclipsrs who go insane over clicks or more broadly people who do stuff they don’t want to just to survive.
The virus was probably the villain
I think for me I didn't really like it "that" much because, unlike the first one, it lacked structure and I think with all the internet references and cameos they just lost sight of where it was going and didn't have a distinct path. It isn't a movie I'm gonna be jumping at the chance to watch again. Also, the second half of the film, basically after the princess cameos, the film just takes a downward spiral and I just thought it was too bizarre. I liked the message they were going for, to a degree, and I think it had a heartfelt ending, but I just couldn't get over how utterly weird it was getting up to that point. It's like a 2 out of 5 for me, I mean it's just not put together and solid and I forgot to mention the timeline makes no sense. I don't understand how we're expected to believe that Ralph went viral with all those videos in one night, it's almost as if the creators didn't quite grasp how youtube works. /:

Should I watch it? The first Wreck it Ralph is my favorite Disney movie, but I’m really considering not even seeing the sequel cause it might ruin things for me like Kung fu panda 3.
@@majykmarker9411 I really love the first one too, the plot is just so spot on! I think you should see it because it does have the two main characters that are well-loved in the first one. But, don't go into it like I did with high expectations because you might be disappointed. I don't think it's a terrible movie, it just doesn't have the same kind of structure and heart at the core of it like the original. It's up to you but I think the visual details and references could be enough for me to encourage anyone to go see it and the humor is pretty good! (:

I don’t even need to comment...
you’ve covered it all!
You spend 40 hours on a video?! Oh my goodness, how does that break up? Like is it mostly editing, or writing, or what exactly causes this?
The Theorizer it depends how long the video is but:
- 6/8 hours writing
- 1/2 hours filming
- 20/30 hours editing
Seamus Gorman it’s the editing- it’ll get much much easier over time once you get used to this kind of editing (you recently started final cut I think?) when I started FCPX it took me a year and a half to become efficient with it

Vanellope and Ralph’s relationship is my favorite in all of Disney canon
The Bronze Eagle they are such a cute couple!
Oliver Carter wait couple? Like romantic or as friends? Cause I never saw their relationship as romantic.
SAME! Also I love ur profile pic
@@olivercarter4591 Please tell me by couple you mean friends because Vanellope is a child
It is somewhat platonic by definition, similar to:
Marlin and Dory
Lilo and Stitch
and many others
When Felix said he was gonna cover for Ralph, I thought he was gonna use the 15 children to wreck the building.
Sludge Muffin maybe he would hopefully we will get a short based on wreck it Ralph 2 before a new Disney movie
One thing that bothers me about the ending is the Vanellope claims that no one will notice she's not in Sugar Rush, but at the beginning of the film the kids in the arcade are aware of her ability and know she's the best racer in the game, so I think they'd notice.
That's true, but considering Sugar Rush has 16 playable racers, and (as far the gamers know) "randomly" picks 9 daily, it really wouldn't be considered a big if she stopped appearing.
“Hair dryer works better than a vacuum cleaner” maybe that’s because vacuum cleaners don’t blow out air Seamus
_They do if you set them in reverse._
Yes, some vacuums have that feature. I don't know why.
What bugs me the most about this movie is that Disney throws out the window the premise from the first movie: “don’t become Turbo” meaning you cannot leave your game. And at the end Vanellope leaves her game.
Personally, I enjoyed the film, and there are multiple reasons. The first one is that Disney has introduced some incredible new characters and have given them complex personalities and a good purpose, such as Yes and Shank. They also had a good moral and one of the best points is that there was no need for a second film, since they wrapped up the first film nicely but it was so popular that they created a second, and personally I believe that it was an incredible film.
I haven’t seen it yet, so I can’t judge

Sidling Felix and Calhoun!
When my sister and I were leaving the theatre (we waited until the very end for the end credit scenes) and when we were leaving the room I overheard one of the staff, who came in to clean, asking a little girl if she liked the movie. The girl responded that she didn't 😂

Ello there! How ya doin?!
I thought it was a good movie, but with a few flaws. This felt like Vanellopes film more, and I'm fine with that! I didn't like that Felix and Calhoun were put on the back burner, as Felix was one of my favorite characters of the movies. I also didn't like Ralph's personality in the 2nd act of the film
I thought the cameos were ASTONISHING! What did every else think?
The Ralph monster felt like the ending of finding dory with hank driving the truck
Grumpy was in the scene was Vanellope ran behind the stage curtain and he yells "Hey! Cast members only!" or something like that.
Ralph, kinda acts like a big baby man...
Just sayin’.
Josh37 ur not wrong..........
Tho thank god he's only like this in the sequel 😂
Me and my sister watched this yesterday and I think the best joke in the whole film was Merida’s accent...........we were probably those annoying people in the cinema that laugh out loud 😂
7:43 I was so confused by the Felix covering for Wralph thing for a long time, but I finally figured it out. Felix himself can't cover for Wralph, but because they introduced the old arcade game characters into the game at the end of the first movie, I guess they can. The movie really should have actually pointed that out though rather than phrasing it is if Felix himself was going to do it, because that would contradict the entire first movie if it was true.
Honestly I feel like this movie is a inside joke that went to far

We see the hidden depths of Seamus' room through a mirror.

personally I didn’t enjoy it at all I would say it’s a unnecessary sequel to a amazing film and it’s the worst sequel I’ve ever seen ( after cars 2 ) that’s just my opinion don’t hate !
no i agree one of the worst movies i've ever watched
Everyone says the princesses scene was iconic

Still doesn't save this awful movie good jokes can't make up for an awful plot.
Iconically forced, awful and factually incorrect, thair definition for a princess is cringe worthy. I hate to say it but dreamworks film of the year is the best of the year.
I completely agree with you about Ralph leaving his game for over 24 hours. The whole time I was watching the movie, i was wonderng if Fix it Felix JR. was going to be shut off as well 😅 CAUSE WHO WAS FILLING IN FOR HIM!!! AND WHAT ABOUT THE BONUS LEVEL CHARACTERS AT THE END OF THE FIRST MOVIE 🤦🏽♀️
The movie suffers 1 major flaw.
IT BLATANTLY DISREGARDS THE FIRST MOVIE!
TWICE!
And they mad Ralph stupid. I’m still not over that.
An actual scene in the movie:
( screen passes through the scene and shows a bunch of buildings.)
( Venelope sees a building labeled “ lingerie”)
Venelope: LING-GRE? WHATS LING-GRE?
*Vanellope
Accidentally disliked. I changed it now I will hide in a closet and cry. Do you think Sully will be there?
It’s so annoying when u can’t watch a seamus Gorman video because the vid will contain spoilers
They should do a WnR 3 when they focus on the secondary new characters so Ralph can become THEIR friends and such. I think that'll be cool as he has to learn how to connect with such strangers and stuff...
7:47 I can explain for you Felix already knew where Ralph was going so he didn’t have to worry about Ralph missing
Seamus: “Ralph breaks the internet is the funniest Disney animation studio movie”
The Emperor’s New Groove: “Hold my llama potion”
fr like the emperor's new groove is way funnier and way better
Don't you mean the Disney Animation Team is willing to "Take chances, make mistakes, and get messy?" :)
Grumpy was in the film. He was there when Venelope was running away from the storm troopers.
*Vanellope
Wait, does Seamus have a split personality! One that likes the movie and one that hates it? I’m so confused
No. He talked about parts he liked in on part and things he didn't like in the other part. As far as I can tell he is mostly in the middle of liking and disliking the movie.
There was so much they were trying to cover with the internet, that by the time they had to face the giant Ralph, I was just tired and low key done. I wanted it over with as soon as possible just to get to the end. The lesson was really good and the ending was bold but ugh, it felt drawn out. I also feel like we didn't get as much of the new female character as the trailer seemed to show us.
the 2nd one made it seem like they were in a more romantic relationship than platonic like it was weird to watch
It was meeeeeeeeehhhhhhh. Nowhere near as good as the original.
The entire time for the 'bad' points, I was staring at the timer, holding my breath because I wanted it to be good. Like, legit. I got so into into it, it's not even funny. And I didn't even like it THAT much. But I just wanted it to be good

Damn ROASTED
Without a doubt. I thought the first one had a poorly constructed script and the plot was messy. It had a great message, it was just executed poorly.
I think the first one is better but it needed improvements. They spent too much time in the sugar rush game. I got a bit sick of it. The trailers also promised iconic video game characters, but it was mostly an original cast. This sequel is the opposite. Too many references and IP/ characters. It gets sickening after a while. I’d say the first is still better simply because it has a better structure , but I disagree with people who say it’s a ‘great’ film. I think it’s just good.
Seamus can you please do another live stream?!?!
“Hair dryer works better than a vacuum cleaner.”
*the more you know* ⭐️
i think it was kind of all over the place but i did like vanellopes character development and how she stayed in the game
Hey Seamus keep up the good work!!!
I personally LOVED the giant Ralph-monster-virus-thing! It was my *favorite* part of the film! ^_^ Staring at the background during those scenes with all the Ralph clones just shambling like zombies was strangely mesmerizing. I'd love it if the DVD/Blu-Ray had an interview with one of the animators who got to work on that part! _(Does it? Does anyone reading this know?)_
This is super late but I thought that it would be amazing that if instead of the princesses saving the day, it was Calhoun and Felix with all the Sugar Rush Racers coming in on their karts and stuff so they would actually matter in the plot.
I actually hated Ralph in this movie and he made me so annoyed and I also wish they focused on the new characters I mean Yessss, Shank, and Spamley.
Love you Seamus!
I liked it much more than the original, I loved it, Ralph and Vanellopes relationship felt stronger
Exactly how I felt! I just saw it earlier for my birthday which is today. I think it’s the second best Revival Era movie behind the original. I have an idea for how to decide if you like it or not. Compare it to a decent movie that would be considered average. If it’s better, than I guess you like it, and if not you don’t.
Ralph: *releases Virus because he’s dumb*

What I get upset about with this film is that everyone blames Ralph for the wheel breaking on the Sugar Rush arcade game, but it was actually Penelope? Like, isn’t she suppose to do what the player is doing? Instead she fights the player and then it breaks because she was forcing it. Ralph made a race track but it was actually Penelope who broke the wheel because she wasn’t following the rules. And then she goes and ditches her arcade game to do some online game. And because she was the most popular avatar in Sugar Rush does that mean that the game starts to get unpopular because of her?
The score in the end tells me that at best, Ralph Wrecks the Internet is painfully mediocre... Which honestly, I agree with.
Interesting points! Yet another amazing video from Seamus. Can’t wait for the next one!!!
I was torn too!! For a LONG time!! And I was stuck FOREVER!! Until I found a Ms. Mojo video that helped me decide! THANK U!!
Since i saw the film today i say it is good
OMG, I was soooo freaking mad when they side lined Felix and Calhoun like that!!! They deserve better!!!!

You're great, man! XD Made me laugh!
I enjoyed the film as well but deeply missed my dearest Felix and Tammy big time. Still, it's a good film overall!
Oh boy i was freaking dying the entire last few minutes because of the timer getting so close to the bad points being on top and... hoooo that was intense, good vid boi, Good vid.
You must not have a very exiting life...I respect that.
I feel like there were parts in the good section that were filling time/not something that was actually good, where as that wasn't in the bad portion, so the film is more bad than good.
Technically Grumpy was there - he was annoyed by Vanellope running into the cast member area and tried to direct the Stormtroopers towards her. Hey, I didn't say those 30ish seconds were _significant_
More significant than M. Bison and Bowser in the first movie. =^p
Yay my comment was in it!!! Thanks Seamus
Congratulations on 300k!!!
That end credit scene though. That was hands down, the best end credit scene in the history of end credit scenes. Fite me if u dare disagree
I thought it was okay while I was watching it, but then the more I thought about it the more I thought it sucked. I understand the whole "if you love someone let them go" message, but it was done horribly and completely disregarded canon. Vanellope went Turbo with absolutely zero consequences, and Ralph became the bad guy for not liking her extremely rash decision. What SHOULD'VE happened, imo:
Vanellope wants to join Slaughter Race. Ralph argues that she can't because that would mean going Turbo, so she's like "you're right, I'll start spending my nights here instead". This makes Ralph really insecure and upset, because he feels like she's choosing Slaughter Race over their friendship, and he acts out accordingly (which could entail what happens in the movie or it could be a little different). After all the conflict, Vanellope recognizes why Ralph feels betrayed and Ralph recognizes that Vanellope is not obligated to spend all her free time with him; they learn to compromise (maybe Ralph walks her from Sugar Rush to Slaughter Race so they can still spend time together) and Vanellope helps Ralph emotionally transition by encouraging him to find other friends.
I think the two big messages that could've/should've been touched on is 1. a good friend will prevent you from making extreme and possibly harmful decisions without thinking it through first, and 2. it's okay to feel hurt and upset by a friend moving on, but you have to move on yourself instead of trying to drag them down/guilt them into staying. Vanellope is wrong for wanting to abandon her responsibilities on a whim so she can have fun 24/7, and Ralph is wrong for wanting Vanellope all to himself; Vanellope has the right to make decisions that make her happier, and Ralph has the obligation to call her out when she's doing something harmful. But instead the film just decided to make Ralph the one in the wrong for being insecure and I think that's extremely bland and makes the whole situation very black and white when it's more complex than that.
Grumpy was in the film - when Vanellope first went to Oh My Disney and he shouted out 'Cast members only!' as she passed
Ok so I only just watched Ralph breaks the internet and boy am I glad that I can finally watch Seamus’s videos about it
SO HERE'S MY OPINION THAT NO ONE ASKED FOR I thought that when they made the 30,000 dollars they were gonna buy the part and then with the extra money they were gonna buy a Slaughter Race arcade game so that Venellope could go in there at night or something bc honestly yeah it doesn't really make sense that she just disappears from her game especially after they went thru all the trouble of fixing it
Also it would've been so cute if they showed people irl reacting to more of the stuff that was happening like if the arcade owner just randomly got the exact part that he needed and a check for like 3,000 dollars addressed to Wreck It Ralph or how Felix and Calhoun trated the kids and how exactly they covered for Ralph in the game I feel like they put in too many easter eggs and references and dragged out the plot for too long that they didn't have time for these moments that wouldve been genuinely funny
Don't get me wrong I really enjoyed this movie I just think it was Too Much but also Not Enough at the same time
I think the "princesses saved the day" part is ore of a message trying to switch direction and stegmas of the princess films. and "You are your own worst enimy", "it's all about taming your own inter demon.", "true friends dont trully part no matter how far theyre from each other", "Children may have to leave and follow their dreams one day" are also some of the messages theyre trying to deliver. So I think it was a pretty cool movie over all, in which dfferent audience can relate to or learn from some parts of it.
I was hoping it would be more bad than good because the arguments for saying it's bad were better than the ones saying it's good
I waited to watch this movie until I got Disney+ and now I'm obviously going to watch all the videos you've made about it. I'm excited.
Honestly I want to know what happened to sugar rush since Venelope left. Like is there a new venelope, or is there a new character playing as her? What is happening to sugar rush now is there only 8 characters. I need answered...
Remember when Ralph was making the videos and the office workers were watching them and this one office guy says, "I don't get it he's just smacking his lips" I was dying and my family was looking at me like "Wuuuu" xD The references. #TheOdd1sOut
EXACTLY! That thing where Felix said he would cover for Ralph REALY bothered me.
I saw the movie yesterday night and I kind of feel the same way. It was cleverly done and the concept of it was good. The character development was also exceptional.
However, the whole movie felt a bit messy and the plot felt a bit wrong.
I would’ve much preferred if there wasn’t a sequel, so I could imagine in my head that Ralph and Vanellope would continue to be best friends in the arcade world for the rest of their life. But hey ho, the film was made, it wasn’t bad, people worked hard on the movie so what does my opinion mean? 😂
It sounds dumb but I wanted to see more about the sugar rush racers relationships with Sergeant Callhoun and Felix that isn’t the typical bratty kids-stressed out parents type relationship. Like maybe have them want to be like their parents.
The surprise twist in Ralph Breaks the Internet was me sitting there for a good ten minutes after wondering if it was secretly one big Bee Movie joke.
I’ve watched the movie and I personally like it a lot.
It’s not as good as incredibles 2 but I still really enjoyed watching it. Especially when the Disney princesses show up.
Fun fact: the "she's from another studio" line frpm Ariel is based on how they are all from Disney and Marisa os from a pixar movie
By the way elsa isn't a disney princess
Neither is Pocahontas or Mulan yet there they are. And there are other princesses that aren't like Eilonwy and Kida. What matters is if your movie was mildly successful and made the Mouse more money.
The blow-dryer bit was one of the best parts of the video
I was super excited to see the movie today...don't get me wrong, it's definitely not a masterpiece. However, it is one of the only Disney movies that made tears roll down my face. I respect it for that.
I really did not like this movie; the story just went in all sorts of different detections to the point where I didn’t even know what was happening, to much convenience, to many scenes that made you cringe, and a lot more. I do think that the character development is good though and the lesson of the movie is good too but it just got really weird.
I completely agree with you on the subject of the princesses.
And I STILL think they didn't justify NOT calling it "Ralph Wrecks the Internet".
I didn't hate the film but I really missed my favorite characters. Like why couldn't they have shown Felix trying to stall and realizing he, couldn't with 15 kids. Then from there have the new parents go looking for Ralph because they really wanted out of this parenting thing. In the long run you see a side story of them learning how to be parents and they get upset when Ralph wins the auction. Cut out the Disney princesses at the end and have the game characters save him. That is just me but that plot hole bothered me so much. If I came for a princess movie I would have went to a Disney Princess film. Also was disappointed because I would have thought they would have at least gotten a short at the end. Nope.
Happy 300K,
Grumpy was in the movie. You see him before Vanellope runs into the princesses dressing room. You also see him talking to a Storm Trooper.
Grumpy was in there Seamus ❤️ u btw
Seamus please make another live stream!
The biggest negative to me was how they didn't explain Ralph being missing from the game for a day, & then Vanellope disappearing completely from her game at the end. I thought she would go back to her game & then visit the other one sometimes at night when the arcade was closed. I was happy for her to grow & find her potential as a racer in a more advanced game, but she was the ruler of her land & gamers had come to love playing her with her glitch power, so she had responsibilities.
I did find it unrealistic on the amount of money also, even though they somehow made a bunch of videos quickly. The princesses were a bit much in the rescue at the end but I did like that they made Vanellope & the other princesses connect over the fact that they had their own strengths or talents yet the man in their life usually got the credit for rescuing them!
Grumpy appeared just before the princess scenes!
