Well, here’s the thing, his Hyde isn’t really intimidating or creepy or scary he’s just singing he puts no character into the song and personally I don’t think he’s that great, and his singing is okay I’ll give him that but again not a lot of acharacter
To be fair they’re not an “average” high school. They have a lot of money and their theatre program is recognised as one of the best in USA high schools.
Honestly to me the most amazing thing to me is this kid’s Hyde sounds like Anthony Warlow’s version! Thats an impressive feat because Warlow’s voice I’d imagine would be difficult to vocalize let alone sing with that constant growl

Audra Horton Mine used to keep doing the same musicals and shows over and over, and they were not even all that family friendly. They finally did a new one (Little Shop of Horrors) but I still wish they would do this one!
If only High Schools ( and primary Schools) In the UK got their acts together and accepted that Music and Performing Arts of every kind actually increase pupil performance in all other subjects., not to mention the massive benefits of simply performing. We and our 'broad' National Curriculum' are useless! This is truly fantastic and these students will no doubt go far in life. Well done. Remarkable!
I've tried watching the Hasselhoff version, and he always just struck me as being super corny (don't hurt me, Hasselhoff fans). This, on the other hand....
Coral Roper i agree, and his voice doesn't strike me as being very good either, i tried watching it and it was hard to depict the words and was very bland i found with no soul

Have a question In the part starting with "sweet miss " the original had the actor for Hyde sing in a quiet, slow, creepy voice why did you change that?
This was great the only thing was when it goes in to 1/3 feel (“and i feel I’ll live in forever. With satan himself by my side”) it’s just not in time. It almost looses momentum because he is wanting to almost add a 4th beat. Other than that this was AMAZING.
