    Why do people hate this SUV?.. I think Indians love hating on all thing made by India...why??...but if this was made by Hyundai, Ford,Renault.. they'll say WOW!!!...I agree side view does look awkward...but its got its own style... I really like the front and back of this SUV...I think mahindra is trying their level best. At least encourage them. Come on!!!!

    K6 petrol
    PROS :great car,excellent smooth ride thanks to bridgestone tyres, steering is super sensitive be careful at high speed, music system is awesome #incredible bass# ,AC is also GUD,excellent noise proofing,gears are quite easy to handle in 6 seater no pain in hand, seating is high it feels like king of the road, blue sense gud effort.. Need to add more feature in it, headlight visibility superb , super spacious , warning alerts in music system display like hand break engaged... Door open... Etc of great use , ......at last value for money
    Now the down side
    CONS : car length is a bit small but gud for maneuverability ..specially in traffic , kuv looks huge from front and back thanks to its width (greater than swift, Honda city, Ritz,grand i10, xcent, even Mahindra thar...) But looks a bit small from the side.., dead pedal is of no use and if u have 9shoe size it struck every time u push clutch , wearing n opening seat belt a bit uneasy in 6seater , acceleration is a gud not best ( gud for city drive) , no handy place to put cellphone for driver seat , Mahindra accessories r over priced better to go buy from outside , that's all
    Note: these all r my personal experience so if u agree or not that's all ur wish I HV nothing to do with it....
    Have a safe motoring

    This is Parag and my passion is to drive and review different cars.
    Last week, i have driven Mahindra KUV and my reviews are as follow..
    This is best option available around 5-6 lacks. Those who dislike this, Just take test drive and understand new approach from Mahindra..
    Pros
    1. SUV kinda driving position
    2. 6 people can seat ( this is big + in India for middle class)
    3. Muscular design ( way better than Wagon R boxy design which is popular in India)
    4. Good Leg and head room
    5. Sufficient power and milage and good torque for diesel
    6. ABS and EBD standard
    Cons -
    1. Mahindra should go with 15 inch for base and 16 inch tire for top variant
    2. Ground clearance should be minimum 185 mm
    Overall this is nice option. Mark my words, "This car will hit Indian market. " - 7th Feb'16

    Love the new intro video you guys have! \m/
    The KUV looks like a very practical car with bold 'love it or hate it' styling. Air bag option on all variants? ABS with EBD standard on all variants? This from an Indian company? Makes me proud!
    For this reason, the KUV100 gets my vote. Go Mahindra!

    Well things like these are the ones that set the trend..you will not like it much initally .but it will slowly grow on you....case in in point..Samsung Phablets...not every one liked it and it now it has created a market for itself. Kuv is a nicer car for many reasons..for starters..its innovative styling..some people might not like it ..but you know every one has their tastes. I really like the dash and the overall car..looks quality built too ,has a good engine and well priced too. Mahindra is really putting a lot in its products and its shows. ..I would say look at the nice points of the car .and then judge. I see most people saying that they dont like some points of the car. My advise is ... Drive the car and judge the car as a whole and I am sure ..most opinions might change :-). Lastly this is a car that has been built from the ground up..unlike the Maruthis..which have the pretty much the same engine in every car they make.
    Well done Mahindra..proud of you!!!. From bolero to scorpio, to Xylo to quanto to Xuv500 to Tuv 300 and now Kuv 100 ..truly a very nice progression. Well done Indeed

    for all who have not driven it... you sure need to have it once... it feels a lot more like an SUV than an hatch back and the power it commands is really great compare the drive with other hatchback... KUV takes away the prize for its offerings

    those spaces are awesome in the car and the place of the gear suprisingly gives a smile to the face a nyc effort from the indian suv maker

  • @vellathilashan07
    @vellathilashan07 8 лет назад +1

    i think hatch backs are better at this price point. they are more planted , lesser body rolls. KUV has only the looks of suv. its is basically a hatchback wearing an outfit of an suv. Just noticed one thing in the review of auto car about zica they told that the power delivery is linear and the way they told i feel that it is one of the biggest cons of the car. But in this review linear pwr delivery seems to be not an issue. but i love the rear seat space and flat floor.

Abs ebd safety features are needs not luxury this neediness properly understand by Mahindra. I am very happy Indian car manufacturer tells outsiders we are above your level of safety. :))

    I used to own a Mahindra SUV called - Rexton. Bought it for 25 Lacs. The after sales for premium customers was also so bad that I decided never to own Mahindra product ( except may be the thar). My car later met with an accident and when I went to sell the same, I was getting offer like 50k for 25 lac car. I finally sold it for 80K. Mahindra in my view is a basically a Jeep manufacturer who are playing in that zone with refurbished versions of the Logan fitted with an SUV looking body.
    I have heard Mahindra SUV is good, though. And scorpio was good too. But if you are expecting a Car like product - smooth ride quality and good customer service then never buy a Mahindra. If you want to just own a big Vehicle - Thar is good !

    • @nathu3773
      @nathu3773 7 лет назад

      80K for a 25 Lakh vehicle. What did you sell just the seats ? OMG..Sad man. The bad service is because I think Rexton is from the Korean Car maker which Mahindra acquired .After Sales in India is bad. Mahindra XUV is a good option with good pre sales service centres. I own one.

    • @goldilockszone4389
      @goldilockszone4389 7 лет назад

      Yes. It was an accident vehicle may be thats the reason. I realised the luxury vehicle have no resale value in India. Mahindra hasnt figured the needs of that segment. Next time I will stick to Toyota

      Flip Tube you r a fool. This car isn't meant for uncle's and aunties who plan to go on a trip with ironed clothes water bottles. Etc. It is for the young India who prefer to go without planning on a trip. U ppl don't know but Mahindra is for offroading and it goes in 2ft water. Just cuz u don't like it doesn't mean u give shit review on it. Thanks for telling shit. Bcz of ppl like u Indian ppl but products from other countries and pay money to them. It's like your office giving your salary to someone else on your name.

    The capability of Mahindra to launch successive models in such a short span is just amazing. but what disappoints despite the fan of M&M is the styling, which is mostly over done. I know we will get used to it... but why can't it be acceptable and likable by most on the first look itself??? Mahindra can and should do it.

  • @extremiztic
    @extremiztic 8 лет назад

    That was one hell of a review. Even though KUV100 doesn't please me much, I'm sure of one thing, this is going to sell like hot cakes. And the chances are that, M&M is going to be a really big global automotive player within a decade. Only if they could invest more in Reva and build the brand. The first gen Reva had quite a fan-following in many western markets. M&M and TATAs needs to invest a way lot more in li-ion battery tech.

      actualy kwid is not a comparable car to kuv bcos of kwid is 67 bhp 800 cc engine and kuv is1190cc producr 80 bhp petrol and 77 bhp in diesel kwid hav no diesel engine still and then abs with ebd is available at base mode and dual airbag fr option in all varient though which kwid lacks in safty and price tag is much diffrent in both kwid is below 5 lack light weight car u can compare it with alto 800 or hundai eon kwid is style and boot space is awesome but built quality inside not match up with maruthi or hundai overall it look awesome at outer design kuv is prety more powerd and safty is better at it price tag that it offers

    They Should convert this to Electric and remove the extension of headlights to the sides. Increase the range to 250-320 Km's per charge.
