1964 Griffith Park Railroad Museum, Los Angeles, CA.

In 1964 the Griffith Park Museum held many examples of steam locomotives from ATSF 4-6-4 to "Big Boy" UP 4014 and traction locomotives and cabooses from Pacific Electric. These examples later were moved to Rail Giants Museum railgiants.org and TravelTown traveltown.org. UP 4014 was at Rail Giants Museum before being moved to the Union Pacific Steam shop in Cheyenne, WY for restoration. UP 9000 is on static display at the RailGiants Train Museum, Los Angeles County Fairplex in Pomona, California.

Really sad the equipment at travel town became dilapidated and allowed to rot away. The pacific electric trolley and cabooses were taken to orange empire museum. The trolly car was destroyed by a weed fire, the cabooses were allowed to rot away.

It cool because 9000 up. Big boy 4014 up. 3450 ATSF. 2 OHTR Co. and Sunkist and 3.United States posts . 5021 sp. and the world biggest diesel all restored at La county fair at rail giants train museum big boy was removed and replaced with a diesel but 4014 got restored it still open to this day and all the diesel and steam still get repairs at the museum
