It costs $29 in Nigeria, $30 in Malawi, $31 in Zambia,, $37 in Rwanda and $50 in Kenya. I doubt it will be anywhere close to £70 in Ghana

Misinformation. You are looking at the website for the UK market. The hardware price will not be £450 in Ghana. It's not being sold for that price in any of the African markets. I bought the Gen 2 hardware from a retailer in the UK for a quater of that price and sent it to Ghana and activated it using a Nigerian address for the roaming service for £22 monthly. The residential plan was like £19 monthly. The Ghana prices will be simmilar to the Nigerian one when the service goes live. Please get your facts right before recording a video to share information.
Thank you for the information. Currently the device is not being sold officially in Ghana and those that are reselling are quoting based on overseas price. At the end of the video I highlighted that when they launch most of these will be mitigated but I guess you didn’t watch all but hey, thanks for your comment.

The price you quoted is for the UK, this is not what it will be when it is approved in Ghana. For eg, the monthly amount is 38,000 naira in Nigeria, which is under 500 cedis. The equipment itself will not be £450 either, as a matter of fact it's currently on offer at half that in the UK at £225.
It will good if you compared the prices in other African countries such as Nigeria, Rwanda, Kenya, Mozambique, Malawi rather than the UK. My two cents

How much their internet costs depends on how much you need it to be reliable. If your business really needs reliable internet, you'll just have to pay for their plan. Personally, I'd definitely sign up if my online business gets bigger. Actually, some people could come together to pay and share the internet because it has unlimited data. There's so much possibility once they start, and lots of chances for new businesses.

Your info is flawed and I would advise you to update your viewers... If you think it's right. For starters the prices you are quoting in for other countries, Europe, and if they start operating in Ghana it will be lower, case in point Nigeria, that's not the price to purchase the dish in Nigeria and that's not the standard subscription plan price . Starlink is more expensive and it's susceptible to weather interference (even with a dense satellite constellation).
It's an alternative to those without fiber or other options, but it doesn't make sense if you've got fiber. So I'm not sure what other metrics make it better.
I use Internet to work remotely but I'm not paying for an expensive option for the sake of it. I could use a faster fiber but that's still going to be less costly compared to starlink. Starlink is for a specific user who needs faster Internet, can afford but doesn't have access to fiber. By the way, the starlink dish's power adapter sucks power like crazy...so add that to the cons. Oh, that's if you managed to buy the $500+ hardware in the first place.
It's an amazing technology but let's not falsely advertise it.
