Well, I've found that you need 1600x600 px image, set its name to "boot_logo.jpg" and put in into the main root of microsd card. Power on the device and it should bring the message that logo has been updated successfully. Power of the device, remove the file from card and try if you've got your image. If you won't remove the file after successful update it will try to update every time you turn the device on

Hey, just bought it and it came yesterday. The problem is: carplay via fm sounds terrible and nothing happens when I connect it via aux. I really want to have the CarPlay design etc but I want to connect it via aux because it will sound way better. What did I do wrong? Can you help me?

For the AirPlay my iPhone does not Connect, when i go to wifi options it just keep loading and loading but does not appear the “no internet connection” legend, how can i fix this please?

To change the boot logo, do the following:
1. Format a microSD card (FAT32).
2. Get your logo (1600 x 600) and save to the microSD card as: boot_logo.jpg (not in a folder)
3. With the unit ON already, insert the microSD card. It will say "Prompting" then something like "Logo update complete."
4. Restart the unit, and it should start up with your new logo.

Can I always see the rear camera image in full screen on the screen? or do I necessarily have to see the image divided between the front and rear cameras? and when I engage reverse gear the rear image automatically appears in full screen?

I have just tried to fit this and the screen turn on but was black, it makes start up sound and touch sounds and connects to the phone ok but theres just no visual. Tried in 2 cars so it must be a fault with the unit.

I have the 9.3-inch unit and am using an Android phone. When I use the GPS, it shows the speed limit, but It doesn't show my speed. Is there a way it can show my speed?
Google Maps doesn´t do this but Waze does.

Mirror screen on the device not work without TCLink app....and not work with all app who appear in android car software. I try to connect my phones(Samsung and Xiaomi) like you in description but not work.
So my opinion its that: its a cheap product , software its not very well developed and i guess this its different from model to model.
Can you test multiple iphone connection? If you and your partner connects, can you easily swithch betwenn phones. What if you drive the car and connect the phone, and another time your partner wants to connect. does the device remember both connections and connect the one which is in range. And what if both of you are in the car can you select between the phones without reconnecting everytime.

Maybe a defective unit. Return it and get anoher one.
don't buy these, they disconnect randomly, have an annoying startup sound, an annoying Bugatti image that can't be changed with all models even with boot_logo.jpg. they are 30fps, so if you're looking for quality don't get these. (they're all the same rebranded, so basically you're getting drop shipped (scammed) )
I have one of this, for me (i have a iPhone) they don’t disconnect, l’ve changed the bugatti with my car logo, the only thing is the startup sound.
@@anthonyliu5143 depends on the one you have, tried 3 of them, each different sellers/company and they all had at least one flaw. Good for you if you’re happy, used a lot of them to try them out and not just for one week, but months.
@@anthonyliu5143 Ordered and waiting for one called « Carpodgo » and it has some pretty nice reviews and specs too. The price is kind of high, but that’s what you’ll expect for a better screen I guess.

Does anyone know how to add apps to the screen for CarPlay? I’m trying to add messenger. My car is a 2007 Lexus without Bluetooth connection
CarPlay platform is linked to your phone. If you have an app installed on your phone and that app is compatible with CarPlay system then it will automatically appear on the CarPlay screen. Note: not all apps are compatible with CarPlay

How do you install the rearview camera?
Its easy if you a familiar with the wiring. There are two wires on the rear camera, connect with with the screen and the other with the reverse tail light. So when you put the gear in reverse the camera will be activated and show it on the screen
@@MinistryReviewsSchaz however, check owners manual, some cars have a dangerous amount of voltage and you can mess up the current when connecting to a reverse light wire. It can drain you're battery.
