I never liked how "fans" had this Ozzy vs. Dio or Metallica vs. Megadeth ect ect attitude. Its like damn, can't I like both?

There was a huge feud between Ozzy and Dio/Sabb back in those days and so the Fans started to pick up on it.
This was my first time seeing Dio in Sabbath Sunrise Musical Theathre! I was so psyched. A masterpice album. Not one single bad song.
At first I thought it sucks back then when it was released. Nowdays I think this is my favorite Dio Sabbath album.

Dude that's awesome! I love this album I told you but I got a Japan version that sounds SO good! But I would love to hear that Vinyl ! I've been getting into these Sabbath albums I didn't care much about before like your beloved Born Again and Cross Purposes that I actually had on tape in the early 2000's and lost years ago... great stuff dude btw copyright law sucks!

Brother, one of my favorite albums,got to run the spotlight for sabbath at that show, fucking awsome!!overkill opened up for them.
I love all four Heaven & Hell albums. Great band. Dehumanizer is probably a 9 out of 10 for me. I love it, just not as much as the two that preceded it.

I love this album. It was a grower though. I remember not liking most of the songs on the first few listens.

I dont know why I always had a problem with Dio and the "Rainbow Connection "when he was in sabbath. LOL thats funny right there. but after Fuck knows how many years I finally got it and i dig it, its just a very technically superior band...but not better just a radical style change. ...but anyway i love dio in rainbow and solo he was amazing RIP Ronnie!

How did I miss this one? Every ranking of Sabbath albums shoves Dehumanizer near the bottom of the pile. I honestly was questioning my taste/sanity listening to this album for the first time and how much I enjoyed each track. I was expecting a bummer to jump out, but nope. Some cheezy lyrics here and there? Sure. But that’s par for the course in the game of NWOBHM. Am I going out on a limb here to say Dehumanizer is better than *gasp* Heaven and Hell?

I bought this album because I loved the Time Machine song off Wayne's World. I bought the album first day and I remember only liking Computer God. I thought the songs were somewhat to slow and sort of boring. Just my opinion though.
You are right. But there are 2 more songs that are amazing: "I" and "Sins of the Father" . Check em out!
@@mrmaxaxl there is also an albums worth of music from these sessions which were apparently more commercial and melodic but since grunge was popular they released the darker moodier tunes. Wendy Dio has discussed this and says she can't get clearance from Tony Iommi. Tony isn't big on releasing anything from the vaults it seems as there is also some Ozzy stuff collecting dust also.

Now here I defiantly agree that “I” is the best song on the album. Heaven and Hell and dehumanizer are just great bookends of this version of Sabbath. Computer God is a great opener. Then came Heaven and Hell, which continued the greatness. Bible Black just rocked. Only saw Sabbath once and that was at the Ozzfest in 97. Then both Heaven and Hell tours In Cleveland, Ohio.

If we are just talking the Dio years then it’s also children of the sea, heaven and hell, lonely is the word and neon knights is a good opener. Turn up the night, the sign of the southern cross, falling off the edge of the world and have to include country girl. Bible black, rock and roll angel, eating the cannibals and follow the tears.
