I saw the Dehumanizer tour 3 times in 3 different venues: Pine Knob, Detroit Fox Theater and Toledo Sports Arena. It was most awesome! Thanks for bringing back the memories!
Wasn’t a fan of the album or concert at the time, but I literally said during this show, they should ditch the Ozzy era stuff, 15 years later they did and it was awesome

I saw Heaven and Hell with Megadeth at the Bell Center in Montreal. It was amazing ! But, I would kill to see him and Danzig in the Dehumaizer era

I love all eras of Sabbath, but the Dio era is my favorite. I discovered Sabbath when Mob Rules came out. I saw them on that tour. Dehumanizer might be my favorite Sabbath album. I saw them on this tour as well. I agree that Dio didn't interpret most of the Ozzy era stuff all that well. I agree that the song Black Sabbath he did really well. I also like his version of NIB. I saw them one last time as Heaven and Hell after The Devil You Know came out. That line-up crushed it all 3 times I saw them. Hail Dio, Hail Sabbath!
I remember when I first bought Dehumanizer the same day it came out and seeing them live for the first time at Sunrise musical theater! I still have my tshirt and ticket stub.
The first time I first heard Black Sabbath was Time Machine and it was on the soundtrack album to the movie Wayne's World.
I love the Ozzy Sabbath stuff. I love all the Dio Sabbath stuff. These are two different bands. Rock on! 🤘
Interesting - did they not perform TV Crimes on this tour? I really liked it (still do) as the single from the album.
Plus I love the song Turn Up the Night.....did the Sabs ever do this song live with Ronnie? Killer track.
They did Tv crimes on the Dehumanizer Tour, Turn up the night might have been done during Mob Rules Tour but I'm not sure!
add me to the significant number of people who prefer Dio Sabbath over Ozzy (and I did hear the Ozzy era first - We Sold Our Souls on two eight tracks thank you very much). I love Dehumanizer to this day, bought it the day it was released. Problem was in June 1992 when it was released GRUNGE was dominating everything, and Sabbath/Dehumanizer got lost along with everything else that wasn't from Seattle. Ironic considering the fact that so many of the Grunge bands (Alice In Chains especially) were highly influenced by Sabbath.
Sabbath didn't come to my hometown unfortunately on this tour or ever that I know of, I lived in the bible belt in 92' so we never got Maiden and Sabbath (or Dio solo). Kiss, Van Halen, Aerosmith etc would come, but not Maiden or Sabbath or Priest. Our town/city even protested on religious grounds when DEF LEPPARD came! Leppard did do the show though. Ridiculousness.
I saw Sabbath with Dio in 3 times between 2007 & 2009 when they reunited. And please don't give me that "Heaven & Hell" crap. I saw BLACK SABBATH w/Dio. That was merely a legal maneuver to avoid litigation with the Osborne's because Ozzy (being the angelic faultless being that he is of course) demanded that Iommi never use the Sabbath name without him again once the original lineup reunited in the late 90's. And yeah I said "Ozzy" people, not Sharon. If you believe that Ozzy isn't knowledgeable of all of the shenanigans that have been pulled over the years, (firing Mike Bordin via email, poaching Rob Zombie's solo band members left and right, removing Kerslake & Daisley's parts on the first 2 records, and screwing Jake E Lee out of his publishing for Bark At The Moon - which Lee even said that Ozzy admitted to him that it had to be done when being interviewed by Eddie Trunk) then I have some great beachfront property in Kansas for sale I'd like to speak to you about.
Dio was a vital part of Sabbath's resurrection in 1980. Their last 2 albums at the time with Ozzy had bombed in America in the mid to late 70's, and their 1978 tour with Van Halen (Roth) was widely looked at as a new young hungry band (V Halen) blowing an old tired band (Sabbath) off the stage nightly. People expected little to nothing from Sabbath by the time 1980 rolled around. Enter Ronnie James Dio. Heaven & Hell went Platinum, and Sabbath were off to the races again with the rock buying public, and even critics. The follow up Mob Rules (sorely under valued) also went Gold. So many young kids who discover Sabbath now don't realize all of this, and that is precisely why I wrote the novel I just did and pointed it out. Dio SAVED Black Sabbath. For anyone who doesn't believe that, look at what happened after he left/was fired in 1982. Sabbath fell into obscurity for the rest of the 80's, while Dio's solo career skyrocketed to Platinum success.
Fantastic Video! Great Job As Always Ralph! I will say that I’m surprised that you don’t like at least some Early Prong. Because they started out as more of a Crossover Thrash Band before they went into the whole Groove Metal thing in the 90s. Other than that, Great video as always! U Rule!!!

Best thing about black sabbath ?? All of sabbath !!! Best version ?? Any version you like best!!! Not to many bands that have had the hand of time on thier side, that gave so much,, and so different quality music!!! Thanx for this great episode jaws brother!! It ruled!!!!!
