Aimsell if you want to do a real boss fight you can grab the fire mage quest at ravenna and go to carina and the npcs get confused and fight eachother (if you do it right)
Bro Calvus wins Lore wise, he fucking blitzed Neviro with his Aether magic, Calvus would just keep teleporting away from Kai's attacks and spam his 75 damage blasts. And Calvus was probably sitting on that throne for hours waiting for the player character to enter the throne room, but he was still able to just casually get up and blitz someone.
Assmuning Kai is a warrior - cause he has a weapon aura - the lack of weapon skills currently effectively means he's not fighting at his full potential too. Oh dear.
I honestly love the idea of comparing the might of not two players, but two actual non-player characters within the Arcane Odyssey universe/storyline. Speculating who would beat who despite them unable to actually fight each other is something I've been a fan of since my early childhood, and it brings me back to those moments when I'd play through a storyline, meet two powerful characters, and just think about who would win if they were to fight. So to speak, I enjoyed the video and hope you do more like this!

in my opinion argos in his prime could easily 1v2 both of these guys considering that while he's about 80 years old he can tank the entire roof of fort talos falling on him and can still easily talk as though 20 metric tons of stone aren't currently crushing his lower half again this is at 80 years old.
Considering that Argos was the strongest general of the previous generation for a very long time, I would expect him to actually 1v2 Calvus and Kai. He was heavily weakened due to age after all, If we fought Calvus in his prime and won with barely any injuries(You legit walk like nothing happened after the Calvus fight), then I'd expect that we are pancakes if we were to fight Argos in his prime.

i cant imagine how bad the navy in nimbus sea and further are gonna be. I only had 1 notoriety and they sent out a lietenant with 3.5k hp, BOTH ultimate art magic and cannon fist, glass magic, and like average 250-300 damage attacks and insane grabs that grabbed me far away. I did beat him, but had to use the scummy metamage strat of just runnning away and spamming blasts

later into the game when it gets more developed Kai would probably have even more attacks because the attacks on the sabre arent all released yet so that can be a factor later on

calvus with better ai dosent exist, you have to modify the whole script of calvus so he dosent spend 10 seconds charging a blast that does 150 damage and can easily be parried. calvus would be like rupin or something else if he wasnt stupid

I stepped into Kai’s Boss room thinking I was HIM, I just murdered all of the Navy ready to box Commandere Kai one on one The second I opened those doors I was suddenly unable to use my Spear or Bow.
i think commodore kai is actually part of the order of aesir. It makes sense, we know with lord elius they kill anyone who failed their job which makes sense with one of the lines kai says "kill me now, or THEY will" ofc that isn't accuracte but its close. It also makes sense cuz ravenna and grand navy have close ties, commodore kai might be working with ravenna which is working with order of aesir
Not to mention that when you go there before you fight Argos you can see Iris telling you that the Navy never spotted any mysterious ships sailing, which means that they must've erased their records.

Calvus is blessed with powerful magic, and good armor. I doubt any random experienced savant would be able to kill him, cause then we’d have random pirates raiding Ravenna and killing calvus.

Also i'm talking about an experienced savant lore-wise they'd be level 250 since they dont have any special powers like the AO MC.

There's a literal power house of a curse user, General Julian who almost killed an ancient curse user with his glass curse which is a base magic curse and other Ravenna centurions/generals guarding King Calvus. We're talking 1v1 and how Calvus pales in comparison to an actual savant not a kingdom invasion. Only people who has a chance at this is Warren and the MC group.

Calvus can block mid attack for some reason so idk if 700 dmg from fron doing one blast
that is true, however it isn't always guaranteed and the damage outcome will still be significantly higher than 150 damage from calvus regardless

@Nano Nano exiled has 1.5k hp, and literally auto blocks everytime you hit him. But merlot has way more hp and does way more damage, Merlot wins imo

Also Calvus uses his magic way too much and he practically relies on it making him a bad mage despite being a savant, any savant can crush him since he'll be overwhelmed by the versatility of a Savant when he isn't even got the slightest idea on how to fight as one, and he's the weakest high lord. Also i'm talking about an experienced savant lore-wise they'd be level 250 since they dont have any special powers like the AO MC.

@@pillrat That's not a pirate that's a pirate savant. Also we're not talking about invasion here a sole King is not for power but for building his country. There's a literal power house of a curse user, General Julian who almost killed an ancient curse user with his glass curse which is a base magic curse and other Ravenna centurions/generals guarding King Calvus. We're talking 1v1 and how Calvus pales in comparison to an actual savant not a kingdom invasion. Only people who has a chance at this is Warren and the MC group.

Pirates also have classes, so “that’s not a pirate that’s a pirate savant” doesn’t make sense, as them being a pirate doesn’t make them any weaker or stronger.
