Thank you, Max, for putting in so much time saving lives. You are the most dedicated weather forecaster I've ever seen. How did Beryl completely miss WV? Seems unbelievable!
I’m already over this hurricane season. This seemed to be the longest trek ever. I held out hope that it would not come in so close to Galveston. We were kinda more focused on floods than wind. Harvey did me in and this one was traumatizing because we didn’t have the shutters up . Next time we’ll put them up even if it’s a cat 1 soon as it targets Texas. I really need to move to Idaho. I swear I rather shovel snow than this. I’m getting too old for this. Thank you Max for keeping us informed. I hated when the internet and cell was down and kinda Helpless but you told us what to expect etc. prayers to all dealing with recovery and loss, and those still in the path of this insane storm.
I'm sick of this big ol' high pressure over the west, it's been so dry and hot for weeks now, it's normal for summer usually, but this year it's a bit more dry than I can remember 🥵
Thank you for the update Max. We are in a flood watch already for 2-4 inches of rain with 6 inches possible in some bands. My basement is going to have problems! Prayers to all impacted be Beryl.
Beryl has been one of the most consequential tropical storms in the last ten years. It might not have been as damaging as other hurricanes in that period, but to make three landfall thousands of miles apart and to do this in early July is quite remarkable. But it is still causing problems to so many more areas even though she has lost severity. This hurricane will go down in history and will be researched for many years.
@@gabriellagrace4734 what a ridiculous conspiracy theory. I suppose this has nothing to do with the earth warming rapidly. Maybe you and the other flat earthers can come up with a new theory.
thank you Max. You did an amazing job with yesterdays crazy weather! You always do amazing job, but yesterday was just so wild, I don't know how you can keep up with all of that. And the computer issues on top of everything that you were already juggling. I hope you got some rest. Thanks again.
You rock, Max. I am so grateful for your wonderful updates. I have become a weather junkie! You have this magic power to convey this information in a calm, professional manner. THANK YOU!!
Wisconsin here my family got warnings that it was flooding. Somewhere a dam broke because of all of rain we were getting so i dont think we want rain😅😅
Thank the lord when the hurricane moves out on my birthday, best gift by god, Also praying for those effected by the tornadoes last night god is good 🙏
I'm watching if it reaches Southern Ontario, Hurricane Hazel in the 1950's stalled over the Great Lakes, huge amount of rainfall and people drowned here in Toronto.
Pray for East Texas and West Louisiana I’m on the Texas Coast. We got nothing like East Texas and West Louisiana. Jasper is an hour north. Yes the coastal towns took a hit, I’m one of you but I’m glad Max is showing the threat after land fall. Dozen tornado warnings in Jasper County. 12-twelve!

We are in southern Indiana and just got upgraded to an “enhanced” risk with a 10% risk of tornadoes…would you elaborate on what that now means compared to your morning forecast before this had changed?
Max, did you know we had a 🌪 tornado in the Columbia Missouri area yesterday? Missouri had A LOT of flash flooding yesterday! *And I don't know if lightning hit our house or maybe the shed roof or our neighbors, but it sounded like a metal roof had exploded, just before 5pm yesterday, may've hit our rod(s) on roof, but cables aren't reattached to the ground, so.... First time I had a lightning induced migraine.
It's like western pa has a bubble around it where we can't get rain anymore. Every day I check the WPC and we've gone from maybe getting 0.75" from Beryl to like 0.01" smh!! We're going to be in a drought soon despite the 4" of rain in April. It's unreal.
