I saw them in concert about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Yes, they did this. Yes, it was incredible. Just like everything else they did, including Do You Hear What I Hear (my personal favorite) and O Holy Night. Absolutely do not forego any opportunity to see them live.
😢 They didn't come to the Ryman this yr on Christmas Eve like they have been the past few years. I dont know why it wasn't on their Holiday tour this year. I mean, it's Nashville. It's the Ryman Auditorium. But anywho, we were sad we missed them this year.
You have soooo many more amazing Christmas HF songs to enjoy. Do you hear what I hear is a masterpiece. Christmas ain't for the lonely, Full of Cheer, What Christmas means to me are all fantastic as well as so many traditional songs. What child is this has all 6 of them, Mary did you know? is gorgeous. You'll never get tired of how wonderful our boys are. Thank you for sharing your joy with us! You are still just getting started on the journey and I for one can't wait to enjoy it with you.
They have done this song while on tour - don’t remember when. BUT please watch the home free performance: Colder Weather (lapse). Live You won’t be sorry; I promise
I love Home Free vocal harmonies! They do a lot of part changing also! Their version of "How Great Thou Art" is Beautifully done specially the video background! redheadneighbor Please check it out!!!
Would love you to do more of Home Free originals. Austin wrote three songs about his girlfriend now wife called " Stargazer Trilogy ". The second song is so good. Austin 's girlfriend is in all three videos.
I saw them in Charlotte, NC in early December and they performed this. It's one of my favorites from them along with Take Me Home Country Road. Great reaction Red!!
Everyone got to shine a little bit in this song! You need to listen to an older video or Austin forgets the words during onstage performance! It’s so funny… They keep going forward and finally Tim just starts singing na na na na na! The audience Loved it!!
I don't know how anyone could get tired of hearing songs done by Home Free. Their talent is vast and so enjoyable. Glad to see you enjoy them as much as I.
I love this song so much! You should check out their covers of The Driver and Castel on a Hill. They give me similar vibes as this song does. Love your reactions. Please keep them coming.
Hi RHN. We have seen HF 4 times live, and they are even better live than even their music videos. As Tim likes to say at their shows, this is not a show, it is a party. They are great at getting the audiences involved and they are very funny as well and you will find that the guys are just down home guys like the good neighbors down the street. I've seen AC/DC and Lynyrd Skynyrd live, and they were great, but seeing HF live is an extremely enjoyable and extremely entertaining.
I love, love, love this song. We get to hear them all do their thing and the unique differences of their voices keep the song fresh, but Lordy, Lordy, when they unite in harmony I feel chills down my arms to my toes. Viewing a HF performance, almost always, turns into a full body experience. 😌
Great reaction, Red! As you continue this journey, you'll find they do not have a bad song in their catalog. Several of them have individual channels and projects and there is lots of amazing music there also.
I know exactly what you mean Red. Home Free draws me in on every note with those buttery flawless harmonies. Great Reaction Red. First caught you on Highly Reactive been subscribed ever sense. Keep up the good work. Blessings to you
By now you should be used to being stunned by Home Free. 5 guys just sitting there, singing. I really like that in this mix you can really hear the wind behind Tim's solo. They do do Colder Weather in their concerts - and I know they are doing it in their Christmas concerts because Austin forgot the words - again.
Saw them in concert recently. They did do this song. They are absolutely incredable live!! Austin... Georgia, Tim....Texas, Chance ..... Alabama , Rob and Adam ... Minnesota
Listen, if you can fit 100 Home Free, Tim Foust, Austin Brown songs into a sigle day, then I'll just have to cancel the rest of my day and listen to all of them. There is no such thing as too many. 😁
This was so beautiful! Always enjoy the songs that showcase all the individual voices. I have always loved this song when Home Free first did it on the "Sing Off" & then redid it a few years later. But I think this 3rd remake is my favorite version now.
Yes they did this song I seen them on Tuesday 12/19 Me and my sister were crying, it was beautiful. My sister never heard their music before and she loved them. It was their Holiday show, my sister got all emotional. She was so glad my hubby couldn’t go she bought CD’s , got both of us a sweatshirt. It was a funny, emotional concert or like Tim says it’s a Party. Ever get a chance to see them go… worth the price
I love all their renditions of this song - the singing, harmonies & beatboxing are perfect. You might also want to check out the original songs Home Free has recorded: Austin's "Love Me Like That", "California Country" & "Stargazer Trilogy" among them; Tim's "Remember This", "Might As Well Be Me" & "What's Left of My Heart"' and Chance's "Skull and Bones". All best wishes for you & yours in the New Year!
This is definitely a Winter favorite from the guys! I’m definitely digging the new video for the song. It does look so warm and cozy and their voices make the song even more cozy! Snow Globe is a Tim original and wasn’t really written as a holiday song, but they decided it would fit on the Warmest Winter album. It’s definitely worth checking out! It won’t bother me in the least bit! It’s mainly a Tim led song, but Rob sings the chorus and Chance sings one verse. So glad you reacted to this one! It’s a fan favorite!
I think it's a testament to their talent that I've enjoyed all the songs you've reacted to from them so far and I wouldn't say that any of the songs they've done are really my cup of tea.
We went to see them at the Indiana State Fair last August, they were outstanding live. Nothing lost in the live performance and much interaction with the audience which really made it special. Lots of variety and amazing stage presentation. Highly recommend attending one of their many live shows! Great channel, just discovered you, love your style and enthusiasm. I'll be following you now. Thanks for another great YT channel!!👏👏👏
Don't forget, the New Year 2024 is here and what would be the best way to roll it in then to react to Home Free "Auld Lang Syne." Missing it would be a crime against any resolution. 🤣😂
Love your HF reaction hope you keep doing more Home Free If you have any chance to see them do it, it was just announced that they will be cutting back on live tours to spend more time with there families, so it will be harder to see them live soon.
Thank you Red for reacting to this one. This song is amazing and there rendition is just off the charts. This group has a way of making you feel a certain way with their music. Whether it's a cover or one of their own. They never cease to amaze us.
This is so very beautiful! I love the fact they all got to shine individually. The harmonies were out of this world and of course Adam's beat boxing was awesome as usual! Love your reaction!
Great reaction again, Red! Thanks for sharing! If you like songs with stories, there are a couple by Home Free that really don't get suggested too often, but I really think the video and story of the songs are really really good. These 2 songs are Cover Me Up, which has a rare lead by Chance (and a very special surprise at the end) and Mom, a Mother's Day song. Great stories that will not pull on, but yank your heart-strings ;-)
Home Free always makes you feel comfortable ... their talent , their personalities , their love for music ... they are so real and down to earth ! So thrilled I get to see them in person in April !
Great song .I love cabins and rustic settings like that. If you want a little chuckle I just seen a few minutes ago the boys on stage singing O holly night and austin forgot the words😂. Of course after the song the classy tim had to give austin a bad time . then a lady in the audience I think she had a few to many chimes in and tim talks to her. He's such a gentleman. Not to review hun just for you to see.😁
Enjoyed this song, this was also a cover they sang on the song-off! I liked it then but loved the redo! They did kill this song! Great job Red! Your friend, low bass Kenneth
I think when you listen to a cappella music that the ability to hear the words and get engulfed by the words of a song is not only stronger but also easier to hear due to an amazing producer! Their producer places the background vocals just far enough back that the soloist can be easily heard! Then he brings them closer when they sing together! He truly is the 6th member of the group! Thanks again for your reaction, I’m not the only one to get sucked in to their songs! Low bass Kenneth
God has a strange sense of humor.. I just dug out of the snow the roadgrader piled up in front of my driveway, I came in to warm up and have a cup of hot cocoa and "tada" look what showed up on my playlist. Love it .. thanks.
Ive seen them in concert 3 times and dont think Ive heard them do colder weather yet. Last time I seen them was early March last year in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium.
I was listening to this a little while ago while I was eating lunch it came up on my playlist and I replayed it again just because of the harmony. Been a while since I watched the video, it's real good. Oh Holy Night is my favorite Xmas tune of theirs.
When I saw that you were going to react to this song I knew it would hit you in the emotions in a good way. I was anxious to see you react to this. You said you were not expecting that. That is because they always exceed any expectations. They are just that good every time. Rob, Chance, Austin and Tim all killed this song with Adam holding down the rhythm and percussion. They are just masters of what they do. Love your reactions and want to see more. I'm so here for you and Home Free. What color are your eyes? Sometimes on my screen they looked blue and other times I could swear they looked green. Love your smile and infectious joy and passion for the music. It's always a treat. Looking forward to what ever you choose to react to next.
You and I have the same problem. I have no idea what color my eyes are. They change from blue to green depending on the lighting or my surroundings. It’s weird. Lol Thank you for joining me for this journey. I’m having a blast!
Home Free's rendition of "Auld Lang Syne" is a marvelous way to usher in the New Year. Wishing You a very Happy New Year, blessings to you and yours always.
So much Home Free greatness to choose from! But one from a while back that will boggle your mind is Listen to the Music, the Doobie Brothers classic. They do things with 5 voices that the Doobies did with 3-4 voices, 2 guitars, keyboard, bass guitar and 2 drum kits!!!
Dang it, I missed your premiere this evening. This upgrade of their upgrade of the cover is better than ever, and I was looking forward to sharing it with you and the fries. Your reactions and comments are always great -- keep going! You've got a long way to go with HF yet.
I first encountered you in a collab with Highly Reactive....and followed you over to your channel. In anticipation of watching exactly what you're showing us with your exploration into HF. It's been so pleasurable watching you become immersed in their talent. Sorta reminds me of a young girl meeting her first boyfriend....every date or encounter is better than the last one....and not as good as the next one!!! Keep em coming Red!
What a great reaction, you are definitely a Tim fan, I can tell. Every since I found them, they have brightened up my days every time I hear them, they are so talented. We will never get tired of hearing them, just keep going. We will be here watching
Really enjoying your reactions Red! This has always been a favorite, every iteration they've done of it. We've been to 7 live shows so far and hoping for the next one to come out to Portland, OR again this year! Hate missing even one year of them. They are fun, funny (hilarious actually) and it's like musical talent concert with stand-up comedy show! You leave happy, smiling and wanting more and saying when are they coming here again!? There are so many, many great songs. Some of their really old ones are awesome. I loved their recent version of Stand By Me too! Best one I've heard of that great classic. Take care.
When the singer says, "When I close my eyes I see you, no matter where I am..." It makes me think of a girl I knew and had to leave behind, "I'm with your Ghost again." She overdosed in 2017.😢 I still think about her.
@@redheadedneighbor You should check out a song called "Let her cry" by Hootie and the Blowfish. It sounds like my experience with the girl I talked about, her name was Bianca.
Just love this rendition. Need a hot toddy & warm blanket. Would like your reaction to one of their older songs. Get tissue because it will make your mascara run (from laughing). The Butts Remix.
Yeah, one of the first things I discovered when I was watching the show The Sing Off that Pentatonix won the year before Home Free won it, these singers are all so good that they don't really need instruments. They ARE instruments. Totally amazing!
I saw them in Charlotte early this month and they did not do this one. But they do mix it up a bit from show to show, so it's possible that they did it elsewhere.
So well done by them isn’t it?! Boy, they’re good. They all got to shine. I haven’t heard this one live but I did hear So Long Dixie live and wow! So good. There’s a funny one of this where Austin forgets the words live. Just too funny. Good one Red. 🥰😍
I swear to god, if I hear "I was not expecting that" in ONE more Home Free reaction video, I'm still going to keep watching them.
🤣🤣
😂😂😂 that just makes me want to watch that reactor do more HF 😂!
Lol!!!
Good one!
Four % of the population claim that I am not ugly.

Hi Red, as for me you can one more Home Free as many times as you want, I really look forward to your reactions.
Thank you💕
So well done by them isn’t it?! Boy, they’re good. They all got to shine. I haven’t heard this one live but I did hear So Long Dixie live and wow! So good. There’s a funny one of this where Austin forgets the words live. Just too funny. Good one Red. 🥰😍
I love that he forgot the lyrics!
