    For everybody: Czarcie Kopyto is like Devil's Hoof in English.... Czart was using before 1 WW, and Kopyto is use to name horse hoof in Poland, Czarcie Kopyto - Stopa Diabła (in our time) - Devil's Hoof.. I hope you understand me :D

    excellent video. thanks for the upload. one thing that many don't seem to pay much attention for extreme double bass playing, besides the foot pedal settings, is the drum throne height. you stop taking full advantage if your foot is not at the proper height for the technique in use. heel up, heel down, heel-toe, you name it.

    Poland in this kind of stuff really rules! I mean, look at it. This pedal is HUUUUUGE ;P I do not play drums, but just by its look it seems to be extremely good. And, damn, you're using it so it means it is insane.

  • @fartsare2023

    I basically do the same thing to my axis pedals. Iron cobra wooden beaters. My beater distance is far back a bit ( 6 5/8ths of an inch ) not quite 7. And medium tension. No triggers. They work great. Nice and powerful. Great clicky sound, punch and thump at the same time.

    • @FutileEscape
      @FutileEscape 6 лет назад

      I tryed to change the original CK beater with Iron Cobra beaters, but they don't fit, they are a little too big. What IC-beater (pole) does fit into the intended holes on the CK pedal? I'd highly appreciate your advice! \m/

    yeah i was guessing something like that, the tension on the drumhead, thanks. It's cool, dealing with pressure to be 24yrs old joining a pretty known band in Chile, where the guys are 6-12 years older., they already went 2 to europe, 3 albums, 15 years on the road, similar when you joined decapitated, (shure i followed Vitek, r.i.p), their ex drummer now is playing in the oldest band in chile Pentagram(their singer in Lock Up also)
    my band is Thornafire, you can check couple official videos!

    Both are direct drive pedals but Axis feels lighter than Czarcie. I like Czarcie because its a heavy pedal with a loooooooot of punch! :) And i think almost nothing can kill it because its so massive.

    I know that some drummers have problems with their knees while using swivel technique. I never had any pain. Maybe you have do to some sport to strengthen your muscles in the knees?! Or try to make this "side movements" as small as possible.

    Well finding the right trigger setting is a pain in the ass to be honest. :) I dont like ddrum red shot triggers; they are fucked way to often. I use roland even if they are made out of plastic. But in the end the are more solid than red shot. First, look up in the manual what they write. its good to have some kind of blanket in the bassdrum so the head is not vibrating too much. I tune my kick they way i want to hear it. LOW! and than i try to find the right trigger setting.
