"I thought the killswitch was the present. I was gonna be happy about that" .... I mean KEEP HER FOREVER !!!! These gems of people are becoming so rare today.
For so long you've been over-abusing your old folding dingy. Your boat is small enough for short, enjoyable, memorable sails. Once upon a time ago, in somewhere is Switzerland, I saw a sailor sail his boat all the way into his slip, drop his sails at the perfect moment and coast in. It was so amazing. It's on my bucketlist. Sometimes you have to pat yourself on the back because there's no one around.

You kids are just to damned cute! I mean here I sit with Oxygen hoses up my 👃 nose, Cancer in me F-ing lung, still and yet...you two make me laugh, make me remember my life living aboard, Guys....I so appreciate you both❗️THANK YOU for sharing your adventures 👍🏻🥴❗️

The upgrade from Dory to Coco, the oars, to 2 hp outboard, 5 hp, and now the 15 hp - you both have come a long way at a steady pace of steps. Super enjoying the Bahama ailing season. It is relaxed, fun, and well deserved after so many months of grueling boat work. Thanks & Cheers!

I want to say, before I forget, that the boat looks GREAT!! All the cosmetic work including the fresh paint, new sails all whitey, tidy. The lifelines and stanchions and anything else I've forgotten have UMA looking better than ever.

Kika and Dan, I really enjoyed you two's surprise Brandy's birthday and then Brandy and Beau helping Dan hide the new dingy outboard, and then Kika pulling the card and starting on first pull. Hope that continues to happen. Say safe and happy 2019

Yes at first I thought Dan was proposing to you. but I always thought you guys weren't traditionalist you always seem to be soulmates to me where your adventures have always seem to be the equivalent of of the ceremony of a wedding, and the love and togetherness you guys show are of the bonding of a ring...

You guys are so cute. It reminds us (my wile Lilli and I) of the way we were when we were younger. Hold onto your dreams as time can be short. We are now going on to 46 years as a married couple and totally still enjoying each other. Although we are not sailing we are grounded to camping with a 26 foot camper and waiting for this Covis stuff to stop so we can tour this great country. Cherish your love for each other and it will never get old. I am 72 and my wife is 65 and our love for each other grows every day. I wish I could contribute but being on fixed incomes it is hard to keep our dreams alive. Keep the light burning even though it may flicker sometimes that fire still burns. I can see it in your eyes. Love you both...

Son, there will come a day when there will need to be something significant in that little box. LOL
lol, that's what I was thinking. I think she was expecting something else. :-)
He's crazy for not putting something smaller and prettier in that little box.
He probably will one day, but that little tiny thing is expensive, and the expense of that would probably mean they would have to post pone doing what they love for a long time to afford all that comes with said little thing. At the end of the day that little thing would be hindrance to living the lifestyle they like.
I’m guessing Kika would rather have an expensive motor and an in-expensive ring (she is just that cool/grounded) (but whatever you do don’t buy her a couch)
@@dh5645 cool girls eventually grow into cool women who will eventually demand something of Their Own. I genuinely believe she is invested in sailing but she is still a woman and I'm sure deep down she would like something soft for herself. Not necessarily a ring but something more feminine.
So love that your playfulness resurfaced, so glad you realized a while back that you were living for the future and stopped that! I also want to compliment you for the many artistic shots, close-ups, rigging, water, sunsets, all the precious little pieces of a sailing lifestyle 💙🌊⛵

Dan, very cool manoeuvre pulling the boom over and backwinding it to steer the boat around and sail off the anchor. Definitely going to try that this summer

Hurray for finally finding a good 15hp outboard! It's life changing in the hook. Nice and quiet too! Also I'm really digging that new solar oven I'll have to nab one of those before our next cruise. Now I think you guys need a boat chicken to keep up your egg supply!
