I've put 1800 miles on my 2023 Road Glide Standard in less than a month. Vivid black , traction control, rain mode, hill assist and Abs. Just installed stage one screaming eagle, tuner and kromeworks pipes. I ordered full crash bars for the bags, 14" windshield for long trips, and put a nice wide seat for the wife. Still waiting on the tour pack to come in. I love the way this bike handles and the 107 has all I need when I ask it to move... 🤙
Hey Tall, soo glad you finally got yourself a Road Glide!! I know you still luv your Street, but you realize how many times you gave the RG its props for how fast you were going, yet how smooth it is, even down to the mirrors!! Jus wait til you put those bars & Pipes on!! I bought a Street Glide 1st, then 3 months later, came over to a Road Glide. The FLTRX has been an awesome bike. As a 48 yr old Utility worker, who rides these Washington, DC area roads & highways, mostly year round, i really enjoy your channel & content. Stay Blessed Traveling Tall, & keep it up!! #sharklife #harleyriders #ridefree
Never really been a Harley guy. Always appreciated them but never wanted one. That said, the mellow rumble through your audio was awesome. Enjoy & stay safe.
Omg!❤ you did it! Love love it! I thought I loved your channel before … understatement! Welcome to the shark tank, Tall! Can’t wait to see your upgrades!
Love the bike, enjoy! I bought a gently used motorcycle in April 2018. I love my 2017 Denim Black Road Glide Special w/stage 1 kit...I am 5'9" and it fits me perfect and the price was right. I now have 94,000 miles
TT! Just started watching your channel and I really enjoy your candid and honest information about Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Wish I could of hooked up with you and Adam Sandoval during his 120th Harley-Davidson Tribute Ride across the country
Aye Tall I’m getting the zippers 124 kit installed on my standard road glide and it’s all thanks to you!…I’ve been debating on starting me a RUclips …but we are definitely gone have to link and ride!
I know what you're talking about! I have a 22 Road Glide FLTRX in vivid black delivered on November 28. Riding home from the dealership I was cruising down the highway when I saw I was doing 80 & sure didn't feel like it! I've since put a whole lot of my own preferences into it & absolutely love the bike!
Been on a break out for six years, hoping that 2024 is my year to upgrade to the Road glide. I’m looking forward to all the great content and watching you build her out. Bless you brother.
@@PAULY-P u ever had any issues with your street glide?? I just bought a 2015 street glide and it shut off at a red light and sputters when shifting, it has 20k miles
I'm Jelly. Here in CT were floating around 32-40 degrees but with the moderate snow & sand it's definitely one to keep your attention. Bike and video looks great. Enjoy my dude.
Can't wait to see your ride once you get it set up for you. I'm waiting for my Tri-Glide Anniversary model to arrive. My body at 76 has changed so much the comfort of the Tri-Glide is a blessing for me.
I have a 2020 rg standard put a klockwork sport windshield 12 or 14 inch windshield a Mustang lowdowner seat will put you back 2 inches, Highway p and advanblack tour king pack, on motor work so far. I am getting ready to do a 128 stage 4 for my softail. Congratulations on the new bike and enjoy
Congratulations on your new bike, fyi my brother I am 62 and you’re 66. You need to purchase some floor mounts from Tall Boy Cycles, have them on my 2022 Road King with Saddleman seat that sets me back two inches back off the gas tank and lower me two inches. Trust me if you take this information you will setting pretty my brother and very relaxed during your short or long trips on your new HD.
Tall: I think stock LED headlights are reflector lights; you’re used to having a LED projector headlamp. Big difference in light output and beam throw.
I'm 6'8" and was miserable uncomfortable on my 2022 Road Glide Special until I added 14" apes, Klock Werks taller windshield, highway pegs, and a Daddy Long Legs seat.. I'm nowhere near finished but I'm at least more comfortable now...Good luck with your build...
I traded in my 09 for a 2021 Ultra Limited. They aren't even close to being the same bike! The new bike is super smoothe. I'm 6'3", so I got a tall boy seat, and I'm putting on the 12" bars on. Stay safe!!!
I am die hard street glide ; have a 2022 blue steel w 128 kit. however ; !! I found a mako shark road glide w 400 miles on it. Bought is 6 months ago. Put a star 30-30 cam in it , bars, lights custom seats, king tour pack and more. Now I find myself picking the RG over my SG. But the street glide sure does look better. IMO. Beautiful addition to the collection Tall. Ride safe !
Hey tall, you stated that the mirrors on the road glide were better than the street glide. Just install the same mirrors that are on the E.G. and Ultra and that solves that issue. Ride safe, be blessed. 🤙🏾
beautiful bike.... My first motorcycle was a 2014 883 Sporty, taught my self how to ride on it 4 months later i traded it in for an 08 heritage softail. that being said Harleys are just like anything else ive owned (vehicle wise) If you take car of it, it will take car of you.... EVERY COMPANY HAS ITS GREMLINS its a part of life. Enjoy the videos keep up the good work
Tall, I need to be honest brother, if you want to beat a Road Glide……..You need to buy a Road Glide 👊🏼 There’s just nothing like it brother..Can’t wait to check out the way she’s going to turn out..Keep it up brother
I had a 2017 RGS and traded it in on a 2023 RGST last month. Rode it for the first time last week after I added the filler lights and tab preformance 4 inch with zombie baffles. That bike is INSANE. I love it. Except for going back to a cable clutch.
Cant believe u got another bagger! Especially the road glide of all bikes lol. Wouldve been dope to see u on a softail. That new breakout is clean. Ride safe though brother.
Yeah, I sold my 2020 StreetGlide and upgraded to a 2017 BreakOut! Everyone has a bagger nowadays and they all look the same or similar. The only thing I miss on the glide is the hard bags but they're not needed as I don't do cross country. A large swingarm bag is all I need 💪🏽
I traded a 2013 Harley Davidson Road King Police bike in on a 2023 Road Glide base 107 engine. Had it Ceramic coated. I am 6 foot. Bike is comfortable. 2900 rpm is 79 mph. You are being honest. It is a completely new. Rear shock adjustment is on the left side, have to take the saddlebag off.
Enjoy your RG....take stock wheels off and have them chromed from a reputable chrome shop...cheaper better and richer than HD chrome. Can't wait to see what you do with this stock 107....yesssss siiiiiiiir don't sleep on a 107....especially one with a hot cam in it😁😁😁
Man you know your going to get alot of feedback on your new road glide I say to each is 9wn and don't sweat the small things in life you have three HDs how much more can a man ask for congratulations on your new purchase road glide standard is the way to go you make it the way you like traveling tall is walking tall lol👍
I got a 22 road glide standard in reef blue , the first thing I changed was the bars, I'm 6' and the stock bars suck, I went with the 3piece KST 14" bars . Soooo much better.
For the bars I went with 14" hammerhead bars from LA choppers, did it myself in about 4 hours and didn't even have to swap harnesses. I love em, and it made sense with the "sharknose fairing"
We have always told you the Roadglide is the smoothes motorcycle Harley makes and in my opinion with all the changes your gonna do u bought the best motorcycle to do it with
As a fellow 6 foot 6 rider I know how you feel. Didn’t even leave the dealership with my new bike until I put on the Tall Bly seat. Looking at putting Carlini Design 14 inch Gangster Apes on this summer>
Could that just be the smoothness of the “Road Glide” compared to the “STREET GLIDE”??? Just a question. I bought my Street Glide because I like how it looks. I could have bought a Road Glide if I wanted to but I don’t like how they look… Nothing from me negative about them, I just don’t like how they look. How much do you want for your Street Glide?
I hated the look of the Road Glide, so I never got on one, so I've been on Street Glides for 16 years. Finally, I broke down and test rode one. I liked it well enough and even gained a new respect for the bike. Then, even greater respect gained riding my cousin's 800 miles and getting over the ugly fixed fairing bias. I may be adding one to my collection once I get the wife's Can-am paid off.
Great video Tall. As alway informative and classy….. can’t wait to see what you do to it. Like you i bought a 22 SG standard but not much left on it standard…. Very custom now! Ride safe as always!!
I bought a Road Glide for the first time last May. At the time, I had an Ultra Limited and the RG. After owning it for a few months, I traded my Ultra Limited for a Pan America because I thought I had 2 bikes too similar with the RG and UL. I regretted trading my Ultra Limited because I truly believe it is better on a road trip with my wife riding 2 up with me. I traded it back in for an Ultra Limited.
Just got my RGS last November. So glad I bought it. Just love it. My only complaint is positioning of the speedometer- you have to look down at it. Where as the sg I could just look ahead. Love the new addition to the family. I went from a 21 street glide to a 22 road glide St both I customized to my liking and I’m enjoying the road glide more not just the engine difference.. I like the fairing being alittle further away.. keep up the great content
I’m 6’1” and the bars aren’t as bad as they are for you but I do hit my knees with the handle bars if I’m doing slow turns. Tested out a extended reach Saddlemen seat but I’m in that height gray area where I need 1” and not the 2” they offer. So I ordered their standard seat. Going to look into handlebars now to correct my arm ride height and get them away from my knees. I’ll be watching your build, I bought my Road Glide a month ago.
Just started watching your channel about a month now and got to say this is one of the best motorcycle channels out there.
"Tall" is very informative, and a super nice person, easy to be around.
He's a great person but if you think this is the best bike channel on RUclips you need to have your head checked lol.
Finally you’re on the right glide. The real glide…The Road Glide!!!!
Congratulations
hahahaha blaa blaa blaaa
Welcome to the Glide family Tall. Congratulations now you got a bike !!!!

Hey Tall congratulations on getting your first Road Glide lol. Your headlight is probably out of adjustment very easy to adjust.
YESSS! You finally got a Road Glide…. You’re gonna love it. At least you won’t have to change your “Keep Gliding”…. Love my ‘19 RG ULTRA
Y’all I own a 07 SG, had a 13 RG and bought a 20 RG when I retired. Love all of them!

I’m 5’10” and stock bars on my 2022 RGS made my back and shoulders hurt. I put 14” KST Customs Spearheads on. I love the bars amazingly comfortable.

People who think a 107" motor has no power never spent a lot of time on a 74" shovelhead. Bike sounds pretty good for stock. Very good looking bike
As a fellow 6 foot 6 rider I know how you feel. Didn’t even leave the dealership with my new bike until I put on the Tall Bly seat. Looking at putting Carlini Design 14 inch Gangster Apes on this summer>
Nice review keep up the good work Traveling tall
Looks good, congrats.
He got a road glide. Tall is evolving! His true power and final form is yet to be revealed.
Congratulations on the new whip Tall. And no your butt doesn’t look big on the bike. Good travels as always and God bless. 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽

I’m just the opposite I love the road glide and not a huge fan of the street …. No hate personal preference… I mean they are basically the same bike

It's about time congratulations can't wait to see what you do with it . I have a 2019 Road Glide can't stay off of it
Move your bars up adjust your bars move them up . Takes like 10 min
Hey Tall, I’m 5’7” (vertically challenged) with 14”apes. Bike fits perfectly.
Looking forward to seeing the changes 👍
Nice bike, had to adjust my lights up on my last Road Glide.
I have a Road Glide ST and I’m putting in a stage 4 131 in it!!
Just got my RGS last November. So glad I bought it. Just love it. My only complaint is positioning of the speedometer- you have to look down at it. Where as the sg I could just look ahead. But with the CarPlay hack I’ll run Waze and have the speed in the top right.
Good luck with with it Tall you will love it.
Congratulations! It’s a beautiful bike.
Congratulations.
It’s a great bike.
I was just looking at one myself. It was like the only touring Harley at my dealership that was under $30k
Pro-Touring Flair 16 inch will be great for your windshield. Nice Harley 👍
I did a demo ride on a CVO Road Glide at Ohio Bike Week last summer. Smoothest riding bike I've ever ridden. But you really gotta pay attention to how fast you're going because 75 feels like 55 and so on. Anyway, enjoy the new bike and ride safe. Just subscribed to your channel.
The thing about the vivid black bikes is that any other color will show nicely on it with floor boards and pegs or whatever. The reality, for cruising and doing whatever you want, a stock bike will get you there. But me being never satisfied always want more..I’ll tell ya, twin cam 88 to this 114..night and day…oh and “stockish”?? Ya right -I’ll be watching for the mods

You got yourself a nice ride there sir!
The bike looks great even in stock form.
Road glide looks good
I’m 6’1” and the bars aren’t as bad as they are for you but I do hit my knees with the handle bars if I’m doing slow turns.
