Coming up on a year later, there are a couple things to note. Great info all around, but an older model (my 2019 Q70R , for example) will not have HDMI 2.1. HDMI 2.0 is still more than able to handle 4K60+ even for gaming from a PC and still looks great. I am using an older built (i5-3570k w/ GTX 1080ti) and it is phenomenal for gaming . Software updates allow Freesync Ultimate to be used even with G-Sync (thank you, Nvidia and AMD). I get no tearing even over 120FPS. While it is a 10bit panel, Windows can have issues trying to get 4:4:4 Chroma @10bit to work. 8bit is fine. Overall, I am thoroughly pleased . Great video
Hi, Samsung is not a good chooice if you want to work on tv screen. Eyes will be tired because those tv's have PWM dimming, couses flicking. Better are OLEDs, Minileds LG qneds or Sony's LED tv's. Check pwm flickering ranking on rtings site. But picture quality is as you sad - very good.
Hello! I was wondering if you would still recommend this since it is an old video. I'm looking to get a QLED for mostly video editing/color grading and illustration. Awesome video, thanks!

Hey! I am actually looking to buy a dedicated monitor for editing. There were some issues with scaling when you connect a mac to a 4k tv. It works fine but I feel like mine is too big, mabe a 32inch would make more sense!
Actually it's a mixed bag, I don't know if I got a bad unit or what the just replaced my mainboard and lcd but I still get flashes across my screen. I went away for the weekend and I'm already haveing the same issues again@@_spaceman
LG sucks compared to Samsung in picture quality. LG software for image processing is terrible and HDR is not there, also colors are way off in all presets on LG. No matter how you try it will never match QLED. LG webOS is better overall, but bloated and not simple home screen can't be debloated.

Great Video! Thank you for taking the time to put this together.
Thanks I really appreciate your kind words 😄🤜🤛
Thanks! I just ordered a 55in U6 55U6K, what do you think about using it a meter away?
Doubts cleared. Thanks 🤍
Hi. How about the 444 Chroma Sampling?
Good video. Please continue to make these videos.
Thank you
Super brother
Great Explanation. But I i have 1 question.. Is it good for blogging and multitasking.
It's a great tv and multitasking is overrated ;-) just do one thing at the time to your best ability

The maker should be giving it to you for free for such a great tech info rundown.
Thank you so much I appreciate the support! I know they should! 👌One day they will! 😄
@ Does it help to avoid eye strain?
@@Dana-cv7ku it's not really different than editing on the laptop, I find having proper background lighting helps eyestrain more than anything!
@ Great thanks for the feedback also very good content keep it up and you'll be one of the top channels.
@@Dana-cv7ku I wish 😅
What about the text clarity when we too close to tv?
It's fine, but now I think 55inches is too much smaller 4k tvs would be better for editing

I'm using 55" Class Samsung Neo QLED 4K QN85B (2022) but I am having issues running it a@120Hz on the regular should I run it @60Hz when not gaming
I just got the same tv and I'm wondering if I can use it as a monitor as well, how is it going for you so far?
