I feel like if we were to try and terraform Mars, would it not make sense to attempt to turn a desert into fertile land (maybe by relocating the fauna or doing so in a way that allows said fauna to properly adapt to its new ecosystem) and use studies done from that to further research how to terraform a planet?

so i’ve suffered from paranoia and slight hallucinations for years, and one of my earliest memories of extreme paranoia and anxiety, was learning about nukes , and for years (i was like 8 leave me alone) every single night i would cry and panic thinking the world would end soon, it gave me nightmares purely because my imagination was so vivid, but now my paranoia is more of the: if you sleep they’ll get you and people are in your home or whatever, but this brought back some lovely memories of traumatic panic attacks i got mocked for because of how irrational i was.
