I think a lot of people are looking at this wrong. How is it IMPACT vs AEW if they are on the same team?? It’s a Bullet Club vs Everybody storyline. I’m glad the bucks turned heel because they were corny as faces. Will this improve AEW’s ratings? Probably not. But it will make the show more interesting.
AEW might as well just buy impact and make that their 2nd tier show. AEW Impact. Put the greener talent on impact with a few stars. Take Rich Swann, Willie Mack and Moose, MCMG and put them on Dynamite. Plus this will boost AEW women division

I think disco is jumping to conclusions. AEW is doing NJPW style long term booking with Omega. You need to be patient before you start saying the end of last week's Dynamite is good or bad.

The style of wrestling, the wrestling-landscape overall and like it or not, Omega and the Bucks are some of the only "stars" not under wwe-contract you have today. AEW is a young and growing company, you can´t measure success only on ratings. Like I said, it's not 1996 anymore, the media-world has changed. And believe me, AEW is growing WORLDWIDE. The pandemic stoped them a little bit, but at the same time, look at the content they put out in that time, best wrestling-promotion, even without the best crowds in any wrestling-promotion pre-pandemic. So, AEW is creating new stars like Darby, MJF or Hangman, they are here to stay for sure.

The way I see it, If you're on AEW Programming every week, then they are technically all part of AEW. They're the national brand getting the bulk of the exposure....AEW gets the ratings every week & whatnot. It's not like millions of people are gonna start watching twitch and turn off Dynamite.
Maybe if more of the territories thought like this back in the day they would of had a better chance against Vince...

Disco Inferno was a jobber and was the worst characters in WCW and had storylines that didn't make sense.

Maybe there will be AEW guys who overcome the invasion of Impact guys. It's almost as if Disco ignores the littany of wrestling veterans who work for AEW & help put the show together. It's not a cosplay markfest like He & Jim Cornette state. There are lots of guys who have more experience & success in the business then Disco gives credit. His act in WCW was prancing around & getting beat. Wouldn't he be considered the silliest part of WCW?

i understand konnans point on the match being different he stated. i watched that match with omega at triple mania. they may almost do the same match, not necessarily move for move spot for spot, but they will do it. they know their fanbase will want that type of a match so it may not be much differnt due to it being here in the states on american tv. just hope we dont see that nakamura spot. prob wont unless they run it off the being the elite youtube like they used to on how nakamura was kennys friend or the aspect of him being omegas assistant so its said.
I think a lot of people are looking at this wrong. How is it IMPACT vs AEW if they are on the same team?? It’s a Bullet Club vs Everybody storyline. I’m glad the bucks turned heel because they were corny as faces. Will this improve AEW’s ratings? Probably not. But it will make the show more interesting.

AEW might as well just buy impact and make that their 2nd tier show. AEW Impact. Put the greener talent on impact with a few stars. Take Rich Swann, Willie Mack and Moose, MCMG and put them on Dynamite. Plus this will boost AEW women division

Just want to add..Sting’s appearance didn’t even move the ratings that much for them I don’t think....it’s not the wrestlers they have. It’s how they’re used. When you have TK as the booker as well as other things, it’s no surprise where the ratings are. Look at the WWE ratings as proof (they should’ve experienced decent ratings during this pandemic but haven’t). People aren't interested & the ratings reflect that. Just my opinion of course.
AEW refuse to book for anyone apart from marks. No casual fans knows who Bullet Club is but AEW just assume everyone is a total nerd.

As much as I hate Disco interrupting everyone, I agree with him. Konnan says they have something to build on. Build what? What will their goal be? They all have titles, they surely don't have chase any title, except the TNT belt, which I doubt they will because Darby has his own thing with Tazz and his faction and Sting. If Omega sometime in the future, wins the TNA title I doubt anyone will care. Plus they aren't even allowed to use the name Bullet Club.
